Shu stared at himself in the mirror, he had on a black suit, his hair up in a high ponytail and a half of a lion like mask on his face. His Master, Luca, told him he was required to wear it if he wanted to attend the ball with him. Of course, Shu agreed, obeying his Master's orders.
He adjusted the mask and smoothed out his clothes even if they didn't need to be smoothened down. He felt nervous, it would be the first time he would be somewhere this important with his Master, he honestly adored and loved the man even if he was a mafia boss.
Luca came off as a merciless and horrible man but in reality, he was just amazing. He was kind, thoughtful, sweet, goofy, whiny, energetic, generous, handsome, playful and most of all, gentle.
Shu smiled as he thought about how Luca would look in the suit, he had picked out for him. It wasn't nothing bad, if was honestly very simple and almost looked exactly like Shu's but it had a sunflower on his breast pocket.
Luca always reminded Shu of sunflowers. They were bright and pretty just like him, but if Luca was a flower, he would be the most beautiful flower in the world, even if it was wilting, it would still be beautiful in Shu's eyes.
As he giggled at his daydream, his eyes adverted to his hands. He moved his hands up closer and gently rubbed the ring that was on his right hand. Luca had given it to him as a present about a year ago.
Shu had fallen in love with the ring and refused to take it off. The maids would try to reason with him, but Shu ultimately refused, unless Luca told him to take it off, it would come off, otherwise it would stay there.
"I wish I could hold his hands... they would probably be soft." Shu whispered to himself as he held his hands together and pretended it was Luca's hand. He got lost in his thoughts in his for some time before someone knocking on the door snapped him out of his trance.
"Shu? May I come in?" Luca asked and Shu stayed quiet for a few seconds as he took his hands apart and tried his best to get rid of the blush on his face. "U-uh, come in!" Shu said and Luca slowly opened the door.
He had on the suit and Shu gasped, "Master! You look amazing." He whispered and Luca chuckled. "Well, if my lucky cub didn't pick it out for me, I probably would have gone in my cookie monster pajama pants again." Luca joked and Shu laughed.
Luca laughed with him before his laughing got quiet as he stared at Shu. "Master? Is there something wrong?" Shu asked and Luca didn't answer, he just slowly raised his hand and put it on Shu's cheek somewhat and rubbed it softly. "M..Master?" Shu tried again and Luca once again stayed quiet. Shu sighed and leaned into his touch.
He was right, his hands were soft. Eventually Luca took away his hand and looked away in embarrassment. Shu chuckled and shook his head, "Shall we be going?" He asked and Luca nods. "We shall."

Luca opened the door for Shu and once Shu got out, he linked his arm around Shu's arm. Shu blushed softly as he looked at Luca. It was hard to tell if the man was blushing as well since it was dark, and Luca had on a mask exactly like him.
Once they got in, Uki greeted them at the door in a stunning outfit. "Wow Uki, you look amazing." Shu says and Uki smiles. His heterochromia eyes glistening in the light like stars.
"Thank you, babe. Why don't you join me and Shoto at the table while the masters have their chat?" Uki said and before Shu could politely decline the offer, Uki grabbed his hand and almost dragged him over to the table where Shoto was at.
"Shu-Shu! I'm glad you came; I need a favor to ask of you." Shoto said, already slightly tipsy. Shu chuckled, "What is it?" He asked and shook his head as he saw Uki offer him a glass of wine.
"I need you... to make me a potion or something to make Vox a tsundere because I want to make him flustered." Shoto said and Shu had stifle back a laugh. "I will have to politely decline your favor." Shu said and Shoto raised his eyebrow. "Why? Your Master telling you not to do anymore spells?" Shoto said and Shu nervously chuckled.
"He actually did. Doing the spells and such. It always gave me a headache and made me really sick." Shu admitted and Uki cooed. "Aw babe, that must suck." Uki said and Shu just shrugged. "Not that much for me, it's honestly making my day way easier to not do spells." Shu says and Shoto just puffs out his cheeks.
"Well damn, there goes my chance of being the top." Shoto says and Uki just smirks. "Honey, I got a really, really good outfit that would turn Vox on in a instance and I bet he would let you do..." Uki said and Shu used it as an opportunity to find Luca.
It didn't take long to find the man, he was standing next to Vox and Fulgur. "Master? May I stay here with you?" Shu says and Luca turns around. "Of course, come here." Luca says and Shu dips his head and walks over to the man.
Luca wraps his arm around Shu's shoulder and smiles. Shu blushes softly and looks away. "Damn, I remember when Uki was like that. Just so clingy, he still is but he is normally with his friends more." Fulgur said and Vox chuckles.
"If it was just me and Shoto and nobody else he knew in this room, he would be clung to me. I honestly thought he was going to have a panic attack the moment we stepped in." Vox said and Shu just cooed sadly at the thought.
They chatted for a few moments before Shoto walked over and grabbed Vox and asked him to dance with him, which Vox agreed to. Uki did the same and it was just him and Luca now.
A few minutes go by of Luca and Shu not talking to each other before Luca grabs his wine glass and takes a tiny sip. "Hey Shu? Have you ever danced with someone before?" Luca asked, staring off into the crowd of people while slowly taking another sip of his wine.
Shu arched his eyebrow, "No, I've only just jammed out by myself in my room alone... why do you ask, Master?" Shu admits and Luca sets down his glass of wine, he turned to Shu and held out his hand, smiling warmly.
"May we dance together?" He asked, his amethyst eyes glittering softly behind the lion mask.
Shu blushed softly and nods, he took Luca's hand and walked out with him on the ballroom floor. There were many other couples out there, but that didn't matter right now. He was with his beloved.
Luca put his hand on Shu's hip with his free hand and Shu put his hand on Luca's shoulder with his free hand. They slowly danced and laughed as they looked at each other. Shu looked over and saw Uki grinning while mouthing something.
He shrugged it off and as they were dancing, him and Uki got closer and closer. As Fulgur tipped Uki back, he was almost near Shu's ear. "Kiss him~" He whispered, and Shu's face went blood red.
"Huh!? N-no!" He whispered back and Luca took notice of Shu and pulled him close. "Something wrong, cub?" He asked and Shu shook his head, letting himself melt into Luca's embrace.
Luca ran his hair through Shu's hair before taking his ponytail down and holding his hair in his hands. "Luca?" Shu whispered and before Shu could ask something else, Luca grabbed his hand and dragged Shu off outside.
Shu followed and after Luca got to his desired destination, he let go of Shu's hand and sat down on the porch swing. "Master Luca? Is there something wrong?" Shu asked and Luca looked at him before sighing and patting the spot beside him.
Shu reluctantly walked over and sat beside Luca. He noticed Luca's leg was bouncing and that he was biting his lip. "I..." He said before stopping. Shu put his hand on Luca's shoulder. "What is it?" He whispered and Luca looked up at him in the eyes before Luca's soft gaze went down to his lips.
"Luca?" He asked as he felt Luca's hand cup the back of his head and pull him forward to Shu. Luca closed his eyes as his lips meet Shu's lips. Shu could feel his face heat up, but he closed his eyes and kissed back.
After exchanging a few kisses, Luca pulled back with a red face. Shu chuckled, knowing his face was possibly the same shade of red, or perhaps even redder. "I'm sorry that was just-" Luca began before Shu interrupted.
"I like you, Luca." Shu said and Luca looks at him, his soft lavender eyes filled with different emotions at the same time. "I mean it. Ever since you rescued me from my last Master, I've fallen in love with you. You've treated me with respect, and comfort and love." Shu began before his gaze turned to the starry night sky.
"I used to not believe God wasn't real. He never answered my prayers before, never gave me a miracle. I begged him if he was up there to give me someone who would take care of me, love me." Shu said before chuckling.
"And he answered that prayer. And even if he doesn't answer any more of my prayers... that'll be fine, I have you and that's all I need." Shu whispered and he felt someone touch his face.
Luca's eyes were glossy, and he was smiling. "I'm so lucky to get someone like you, Shu." Luca whispered and Shu smiled softly. He scooted over and put his head on Luca's shoulder. Luca ran his fingers through Shu's hair.
"So... what are your feelings?" Shu asked and Luca pressed a kiss to Shu's forehead. "That nobody else could live up to you. You are just perfect Shu... and I want you... all to myself." Luca whispered and Shu laughed as he buried his face in Luca's neck.
"I'm all yours then, Luca; The mean and evil mafia boss." Shu whispered, thanking on all the stars and in that starry night sky that he got to be Luca's.

BONUS:
Uki squealed as he jumped up and down as he watched Shu and Luca kiss on the swing. "Damn it, here is your 50 bucks." Vox murmured to Fulgur who grinned. Shoto smacked Vox's arm.
"You idiot, I told you not to make a bet on future couples anymore!" Shoto said and Vox just smiled.
"Well, Fulgur told me that if I didn't get you, I would owe him 400 dollars and if I did get you, he owed me 400 dollars and look who has you~" Vox said and Shoto just blushed and looked away before Uki gave Fulgur a glare.
"Oh... that's where the money to buy that puppy went. Now you owe me two dogs." Uki says and Fulgur goes to protest before Uki gives him a glare and Fulgur shuts up.
"Okay, I will take you pet shopping this weekend." Fulgur said and Uki giggled. "Yay~ Thank you, Fuu-chan!" Uki said as he pressed a kiss to Fulgur's cheek.
Shoto looked up at Vox who just frowned. "No, it's hard enough sometimes taking care of your bratty ass, I don't need a bratty ass dog too." Vox said and Shoto pouted but lighted up when Vox gave him a kiss.
