Fluffy SFW Hualian thoughts where they’re kids

This series is for archiving a bunch of fluffy little Hualian thoughts I’ve thought of! I would be delighted if you took any of them as prompts for any kind of fanwork. :D Please just credit me and let me know, if you post them!
I’m planning to add a chapter to each fic every so often, with a collection of the thoughts I’ve posted since the last chapter that fit the topic of each fic. This work is for SFW stuff where one or both of them are children. For example:
Now I’m thinking about tiny de-aged Xie Lian, mildly sick (like a minor cold) because of the curse that de-aged him, and Hua Cheng bundling him up in blankets and cuddling him. Xie Lian puts his forehead against Hua Cheng’s neck, and it feels nice, because he’s a ghost so it’s cold.

Work Text:

Xie Lian gets hit by a de-aging curse and spends the whole day bossing his “bodyguard” around. Hua Cheng is delighted to push little Dianxia on a swing he makes, and make him food to his exacting specifications, and carry him around when he gets tired.

Xie Lian is very embarrassed when he gets un-cursed, but Hua Cheng assures him that he had a wonderful time, and actually Xie Lian should boss him around more in general.

This doesn’t help with the embarrassment.

De-aged Xie Lian, sleeping peacefully on Wu Ming’s chest. 🥺 Wu Ming tucks a blanket around him and holds him gently. He’s honored to be chosen as a napping spot.

Hua Cheng gets a headache, and he tries to ignore it and keep doing things, but it’s really bad. :( Xie Lian notices and gets him to lie down in a quiet dark room for cuddles. 🥺 Hua Cheng feels much better with his only task being “snuggle with gege”.

…

Xie Lian with a headache. Hong Hong-er is there to help!!! He very very carefully gives gege a gentle kiss on the forehead.

Xie Lian feels better already. <3
