Chapter Text
Sonic gulped as he inhaled, trying not to breathe too hard as to feel his chest knock against shadow’s because of their close proximity. He dare not say a word or he’d either be punched or kicked. Both were characteristic of the black and red hedgehog.
Despite how light of steps he was taking, the proximity was sort of mesmerizing, as if the space between them was calling to be filled. What would Sonic do to fill this empty space if he had the guts to even try? Sonic shakily held out his arms, resting them on the wall cave behind shadow. He could feel sweat dripping down his forehead as Shadow stared up at him. He couldn’t decipher what Shadow was feeling, but something was telling him he wanted to get closer.
Sonic slowly leaned in, hardly having an idea of what to do when his face reached Shadow’s. A awkward chuckle slipped out of his mouth as Shadow kept still, letting him continue to close the gap.
Sonic puckered his lips and planted a kiss on the side of Shadow’s mouth. He had missed his lips.
Sonic pulled back, flailing his limbs and trying to cover up for whatever the fuck he just did. Shadow let the moment envelop him as he clenched his fists. Shadow grabbed Sonic’s neckerchief and pulled his face over attempting to kiss over it, but he wasn't exactly sure how to do that so it just ended up as him sliding his lips over portions of Sonic’s fur. Sonic let out multiple squeaks and squeals, trying to let out the pent up emotions that were bubbling up.
Shadow finished whatever he was doing and bit Sonic’s arm (albeit a little lighter than he would’ve preferred) before kicking him over. He clenched his fists yet again and shot a glare to sonic before skating off. Sonic was left, sitting on the floor and running a finger over his face. He would deal with the bite later.
