Work Text:
Crash. And through his mind, Kevin swims. This isn't the first time Eric's kissed him, or the first he's kissed Eric, and it sure as hell won't be the last. It's sweet in a way Kevin isn't sure he'll ever get used to. In so many ways he doesn't even want to get used to it. It feels new every time, and Kevin would rather die than have kissing Eric get boring.
Eric is an eager kisser. Even if he isn't the one to initiate, he returns in earnest. Which is why Kevin looks at him in confusion when Eric pulls away prematurely. He's essentially staring at Kevin, but his eyes dart around his face. After his moment of admiration, he speaks.
"Chapstick. What flavor."
The tone isn't that of a question, but it's definitely intended as one. Kevin exhales more than laughs, a bit short of breath thanks to how enthusiastic Eric was just a second ago. He offers Eric the answer the other sought.
"Man, fuck if I know. I got it ages ago and I never look at the tube."
Eric's lips pout, looking like a dejected puppy. His eyes haven't stopped flittering around Kevin's face. Kevin runs a hand through his own hair. "If I had to guess, I'd say it's like, apple or something?"
This answer seems to suffice for Eric, a smile pulls at his lips. Kevin can't help smiling harder in return.
"Keep using it, I like it. I wanna see the tube later though. If the label isn't, like, faded away."
Kevin pets Eric's hair gently. "Why are you so worried about it?"
"I like it. I want everything I have to smell like that."
He says it so sweetly, so genuinely. Kevin can't help dragging him back in for another kiss.
