" you shouldve seen it, ted... " He mused, hushed though there are sparks of excitement in his voice as he told the tale, " it was a rough accident on my way to work but there was so much talk about it. everyone gathered around to see the mess of milk and hay that covered that ONE big engine.. whoever it was - a blue one? "
The diesel had moved his hands about as he laid lax in bed next to the engine he slept with. Each movement of his wrists whirred and creaked as he went on and on about his hectic day at work and what had been going on during this specific evening and -
" ah- boco, dear? " The engine peeped with a tired gaze, " may we talk about it tomorrow? i really am sorry to interrupt but - "
" oh no, you don't have to apologize, eddie! its my fault i kept you up for so long.. "
" don't worry about it, boco. but we do have a long day tomorrow and we should try and rest up soon. "
"of course, of course.. " BoCo had agreed but not before turning to his partner, his burly arms wrapping around his fit yet lithely figure as he leaned in for good night's kisses on his neck, letting a quiet yelp of surprise escape from Edward's whistle.
" dearest, n-not so much! " Edward tried to warn through a fit of giggles before sighing as they died down, leaving only the couple in each others presence with their eyes gazing into one another, a gentle warm glow eminating from their chest against the cold and dark night.
There was an exchange of silence. their lips, soft and plush, shared an embrace with one another as they kissed tenderly for what seemed like forever before finally breaking the silence that was once so intimate.
" sweet dreams, baby? " Edward inquired, his voice was low and silky enough to send chills down BoCo's arms.
" sweet dreams, my teddybear. we got a big day tomorrow. " He answered back to his husband, his voice equally - if not, more - husky to leave edward's valves pounding out his chest. and with that, the two began to doze off, the silence luring them to a peaceful sleep.
