Rye has been searching for Chili because it's weird that a criminal like her just disappeared. Chili's bounty has been removed, "she paid off everything that she stole" the bounty giver said. She doesn't understand what is going on and why would chili do that and other than that how did she get the money. This was starting to get confusing, as she continued walking into a random direction, hoping to find the woman that she has been chasing for so long (is all of her purpose). She felt tired, the night was coming as she planned on setting camp, she then realized that there were lights not that far away, a town? She guessed she hasn't seen a town in sometime or slept on a bed for awhile, she has returned to bounty in her previous location and she had started hunting other targets out of boredom and she had a lot of money, this frivolous divergent won't hurt and as she was rationalizing this decision she was already halfway she slowly realized that she got closer, this was not a town this was a city, the biggest city that she has ever seen, it was like a kingdoms that she has heard from the legends, how did all of this happen in a such a short time she was only gone for like a year from this area, it didn't really matter. She walked up to a local asking where is the nearest Inn, the local turned to her and said "I am the innkeeper." she was a cookie with dark purple hair, as a rye followed her to a series of small buildings. "you can stay here, sadly we don't serve breakfast but the diner is just there" she pointed to a building that seem to be closed "oh, it's okay" rye said giving her the payment for one day and she got into bed. She thought about chili, that's beautiful woman is the reason that she became a bounty hunter and how it's kinda nice that when day she collaborated for some time she thought about that one stack of hay that she could have to let go. That harvest was plentiful, after all now she was regarding her choices and she thought about chili, that beautiful woman who had the reddest hair with the flakes and how pretty she was.. What she was thinking?! Is she insane? She shook her head and she thought about her other catches and ended up falling asleep.
She got up early. This was the best sleep that she had in a long time, these beds were really comfortable. Before going to the diner, she thought about if she should carry her guns, this was a safe place after all probably, she decided to wear her full ensemble just in case, she walked out and started walking to the diner to see that this place had a lot of cookies and they all seem to be very happy, she arrived and sat down and ordered pancakes looking around to see that here was a lot of kids walking to a building with uniforms, "oh that must be a school." She ate her pancakes as she looked at the kids and their parents that made her think about her own relationship with her family, that's something she doesn't want to think about, she realized that everybody seemed to be looking at someone and she heard a cookie says claiming to be a king, a little cookie seeming to be around 7 or 8 is saying these things, he seems to be wearing a small crown as he talked to the cookies around him, three cookies that seem to be around 12 to 14 were behind him. Then, she looked up to see a cookie she recognized, it was chili pepper approaching the young king.
Fearing the worst she got out of her chair and ran towards chili pepper, trying to shoot her. "What are you trying to do?!" Everybody looked at her shocked, a cookie with white hair asked "w-who are you?" and chili pepper just stared at her, "What do you want from this kingdom?" as rye put herself between chili pepper and the young king. The young king ran towards Chili "Mom, I'm scared" "it's okay, Custard" and the other cookies approached, "What is going on, founder?!" "nothing, it's just an old friend." Rye couldn't believe her ears, she had a child and she was a founder of this kingdom. Everything was so confusing, as she understood, she was seen as a threat and she put her guns away. "I will talk to her later" Chili said after dropping off the kids. "Please escort her too the interrogation room" she then turned to Rye "I will talk to you later please cooperate" Rye nodded. A very muscular cookie approached her, she followed their lead, she has never been a criminal and everything was so confusing, so she followed the cookie, she was escorted to a castle and then a small room with one table and two chairs and she was told to wait, Rye waited quietly thinking about that event and trying to rationalize that the kid definitely did not look like Chili.
Did she kidnap him?
Then why everybody were following her orders and respecting her? She hoped that Chili would come and give her the answers and she didn't have to wait for very long. As the door opens after after a bit of time, the woman that she has chased for so long entered but she was different, not much for appearance but more of her behavior.
She's now different and serious.
She started with "Hi Rye, it's been a while." Unusually calm. Rye was looking at her processing all the changes. "So, are you going to explain everything?" Chili looked at Rye, barely containing any anger on her face, "Rye, you almost harmed my child and you scared all of the town, look I'm going to look past this because I know what you were trying to do but don't don't anything like that again." Chili became silently scary, Rye got the message. "Okay sorry I will not do it again." "Good anyway, I got you here for another reason, I want you to be the sheriff of this new kingdom." Rye looked at Chili, staring at her beautiful red eyes, she shook her head trying to get rid of those thoughts, "..why?.." she asked.
"Well because this kingdom is supposed to be a safe place where cookies can live in harmony and peace yada yada, but this time it was just a missunderstanding but there are genuinely malicious cookies that will hurt our beautiful kingdom and that will hurt my children so since you're strong and have experience with the stuff, if you want to, you will be paid a lot and the only thing you have to do is fight criminals which you like."
Rye stared at Chili, considering the offer, "I accept." Rye said.
Chili smiled "Amazing! we will get your accommodations and build your office very soon."
"With one condition, I will fight you and you will tell me everything how you found this kingdom how you have children how you managed to pay all of your depths." Rye said.
Chili smiled, as she felt that a piece of her old self is coming back, "I haven't had a good fight for some time in the woods, the so be it next day early in the morning." she flipped her knife. "I will be ready now. You can go just meet everybody make up for what you did earlier." With that, she left.
Rye then left a few minutes later, she felt that her life was going to change forever but she felt a little feeling inside her chest that said that she made a good choice.
