“Sir Justin, Wait up.” A voice calls from a ways back.
“Vigilante,” Sir Justin greets politely, “What can I do for you?”
“I was just wondering, have you seen Stargirl recently?”
The knight shakes his head, “I have not.”
“Batman mentioned she stopped responding on her comm.” Vigilante murmurs, thinking out loud, “What do you say we head over to Blue Valley and pay Ms, Courtney a visit.”
Sir Justin nods, “That sounds like a good idea.”

They Zeta into Blue Valley a few hours later. Looking for anything out of the ordinary, but everything seems to be in place just fine.
Checking the newspapers reveals nothing. So they wander around for a bit waitting for school to get out. Courtney’s still in high school, somehow having her parent’s permission to do all the hero stuff.
Once it is about time for school to end, Sir Justin and Vigilante start walking down towards the school. Hopping to catch Courtney on the way back.
Thankfully she spots them. They’re wearing plain clothes, but they aren't the stealthiest…
“What are you doing here?” She asks, her eyes go wide. “There's not an emergency is there?”
Vigilante shakes his head, “We were just worried. Your Comm’s of line, and no one could get in touch with you.”
“It seemed to concern Batman.” Sir Justin adds.
Courtney blushes and then starts walking, “I got grounded…” She admits.
“How?” Sir Justin asks surprised. “I never thought you would do something to be punished like that.”
Laughing slightly Courtney pulls her bag over her shoulder. “I used the staff to sneak out.”
Vigilante bursts out laughing, “I see…”
“Oh come on, everyone sneaks out sometimes.” Courtney defends, “I just used a magic artifact.” She stops in front of her house, “You want to come in?”
“Sure.”
Opening the door Courtney calls, “I told you that taking the comm would just send people.”
A moment later her mom pops her head around the corner. “Ok, I will take that loss.”
“So can I have my stuff back?”
“No.”
