The glow of the setting sun created a halo in the room, a warm cozy atmosphere surrounded them. Yanyang thought it would be hard for him to settle within the 00liner group because it was hard for him to open up, not to forget the bond the 00line off dreamies shared. He felt like he would be an intruder. Shatora is there but it was his overthinking brain that jumbled his thoughts. It has been a month since they were formed into a unit, fans going crazy because they wanted this to happen for so long and sm finally decided to do something that the fans desired. Their debut song is set to be released in probably the first week of may.
He was a bit sad to be away from WayV but his members were all busy in their own solos and unit groups so he shouldn’t be thinking so passively. Hendry was busy preparing for a duo unit with Winwin, both of them were so happy when it was announced. Yangyang smiled, reminiscing the wide smile Winwin had and the overly excited Hendery jumping around his Gege. he made a mental note to call his Geges before going to sleep because no matter how much he denies it he missed them.
“What’s got you smiling like that?” Jeno sang before sitting beside him. Yangyang laughed at his silliness and pushed the chuckling boy.
“Nothing.” he uttered while glancing towards the window.
“Now that’s a white lie, Sheep sheep.” Yangyang rolled his eyes at the nickname, apparently the dreamies have started calling him that when they learned that Yang means sheep in chinese.
“I was just thinking about how randomly we are put together like I never thought I would be in a unit with you guys when we debuted as a Chinese unit.” he fiddled with his jumper which Jeno found endearing.
“Aww but I thought about it?”
“Huh?”
“You are the same age as us and fans kept mentioning you in my lives so I was entertaining the idea of being in a group with you.”
Jeno teasingly touched his nose, “Don’t look so surprised, Princess.” Yangyang turned red at the nickname, and Jeno laughed at his reaction. It’s so easy to tease him.
Jaemin came on his other side, “Jeno! Why are you troubling him?”
“I am not bothering him, I just called him Princess because he looks cute in his long hair.”
“Well I can’t defend you on this Yangie cause he is not wrong.”
“Ugh I hate you both!” Yangyang huffed in feigned annoyance.
They were about to do their first live together as a NCT Zero, Yangyang and Shotaro were very nervous, Shotaro because it was his first live after his basically first constant unit announced and Yangyang because he wasn’t sure how the Korean fans would receive him. It was a casual live so there was no manager and also the dreamies were pretty much used to such lives. They just had to see the general reaction to fans and introduce tidbits about their upcoming schedules.
Nothing to much to worry but Yangyang missed the comfort of WayV, no such thoughts Yang you can do it. Just sit and act pretty and you’ve got it.
The sitting arrangement didn’t let him sit near Shotaro or Renjun, but he can do this. It's not that he does not like other members, it's just Renjun can converse with him in Chinese if his Korean starts to malfunction and Shotaro can share his nervousness but nope fate wasn’t on his good side today.
Renjun and Donghyuck were trying to set up the phone for live but they were bickering mostly with Jeno riling them up and Shotaro being a giggling mess.
Jaemin interrupted his thoughts when he draped his arm around his shoulders, his black hair made him look softly masculine, “why are you so quiet?”
“I am not.” facing him Yangyang narrowed his eyes on him.
Jaemin copied his action leaning closer, “You are.”
Instead of shying away Yangyang mimicked him, “says who?”
A cheshire grin spread on his lips, “me.”
Yangyang was about to respond when a hand pushed him forward and he almost crashed on Jaemin’s lap if it wasn’t for him holding him in place.
“Stop flirting, we are live. You two!”
He glared at Donghyuck with a tomato red face, who had the audacity to smirk at him while Jaemin pushed a guffing Jeno.
Their live went fine apart from them forcing Yangyang and Shotaro to read comments in Korean and cooing at their broken sentences. Fans are gonna have a field day with the amount of butchering they both did while reading the comments.
He was amidst aa passive aggressive fight with Jeno for a candy when Donghyuck called him,
“Yangie~ kiss me!” he almost choked himself because of this devil incarnation. He snatched the packet from Jeno and threw it square on the smirking face, causing both the idiots to pout exaggeratingly and Shotaro to fall off of the sofa with how hard he laughed.
“I am just reading the comments, it’s your fault you look so kissable today, Princess .”
He took the phone from him and handed it to Jeno, “here be useful and you do the reading and you,” he pointed at Donghyuck “keep your mouth shut.”
“I can think of ways you uphmmm” Yangyang covered his mouth before he could finish, “don’t you dare complete this sentence!” Donghyuck licked his hand causing him to retaliate and gag, “you are insufferable.”
“Insufferably cute!” he smiled cheekily and smirked at the camera.
In the end they decided to thank fans and obviously Donghyuck wanted to make it fun so they used different languages.
Yangyang started in Chinese but got cut off by Donghyuck, “No!! Renjun did it in Chinese, you should do it in some other language.”
“Umm English?”
“No!! Do it in German.” Renjun never misses an opportunity to make him speak in German.
Yup , fans lost their shits after the live, Yangyang wasn’t expecting the love he received. Also what he doesn’t know is that the fans were having a field day with the amount of new ships, especially the Hyuckyang and Jaemyang shippers.

hyuckiebaby: yeah but when yangie didn't let haechan complete that sentence hehehe i see u boys i see u!!
Jenoland: whatever guys i am still not over the fact how jeno helped yangyang in reading korean ahh such a gentleman!! *sighs* also yangles flustered face oh my god!! he looks so kissable as haechan said but if i can't have him i want jeno to do the honours!!
