Lotusheart was sitting in the leader's den with his mate, Chivestar, laying there, asleep. He had woken up earlier than him, mostly due to a nightmare of Chivestar dying from a fire. Lotusheart is VERY sure it wasn't a prophetic dream, Just a random nightmare. He gets up and leaves the Den, Deciding he needs a walk. He goes into the forest, not going to go far.
He doesn't get far before He hears a voice behind him, Recognizing it as Chivestar. He still gets startled, Not expecting him.
"Lotus, what are you doing?" Chivestar asks.
"O-Oh Hey Chivestar!" Lotusheart responds, "Just going on a walk!"
Chivestar came to Lotusheart's side, Leaning his head onto his mate.
"May I join?" Chivestar asks.
"Uh, Sure!" Lotusheart responds.
The two walk Into the forest, Lotusheart Feeling nervous from his nightmare. Chivestar starts humming a tune, Walking alongside Lotusheart. Lotusheart shakes slightly, partially from the cold of leaffall but also from the nightmare he had. He didn't wanna see his mate die, It would hurt him so much.
Chivestar leans his head on Lotusheart's head, Looking at him worriedly.
"You okay Loti?" Chivestar asks.
"Ye-Yep!" Lotusheart stammers out.
Chivestar Gives Lotusheart a lick on the head, Lotusheart feeling his heart swell in love. He's still scared though.
"You sure?" Chivestar asks.
"... I had a horrible Nightmare." Lotusheart confesses.
"What happened?"
"You Died by fire...."
"Oh..."
"Don't believe it's a prophecy, Just a horrible nightmare."
Chivestar leans into Lotusheart, who's still shaking.
"You wanna go back?" Chivestar asks.
"No, I just wanna walk..." Lotusheart responds.
"Okay, that's fine!" Chivestar responds.
The two continue walking, Lotusheart slowly calming down during it.
They end up going back and sleeping until the sun is up enough, Lotusheart cuddling into Chivestar.
