Chapter Text
He was scared. The world’s number one hitman is standing in front of his teenage form. Although the man looked as that of a baby, his presence was still immense, intimidating anyone who could sense the dangerous aura radiating off his small stature. When just the mere mention of his name, and understanding of his position in the mafia world, is enough to shrink down others who know or live apart of the underground.
He didn’t care much about the hitman himself, but Tsuna knows that if agitated Reborn will not hesitate to kill him in one shot of a flaring bullet.
'Although that is a quick and almost painless death, should I poke at his annoyance’ .
Despite his worrying, he could sense that wasn’t the baby Arcobaleno’s intentions, so he relaxed a little. Oh so very little. No, what he currently feared was of the aforementioned. Tsuna, himself, is from there on to be brought up for the role of a mafia boss. Frighteningly, for the widely known mafia syndicate of the Vongola.
From what he heard about out of Reborn’s mouth, he was nominated by Sawada Iemitsu -a man said by DNA to be his biological father- to become Vongola Decimo. The tenth-generation boss of Vongola. The holder of the Vongola Sky ring! A boss of five underlings known as Guardians, them having other flame affinities besides Sky, and to rule over most of other small time mafiosos with the power in the Vongola’s name, specifically for Vongola . No matter how he phrased it, it still couldn’t settle within his vacating mind. He doesn’t want to touch such a chaotic life. Doesn’t want to enter a land of only shadows. Into a dark world he’d rather not be apart of ever again. Not again. Never.
“You have no choice,” stated the nonchalant hitman. “I will correct and fix you up to become a new boss fit for Vongola.” Smirking, Reborn shifted down his hat forward to emphasize his mischievous eyes. “Pleasure to be torture-tutoring you.”
His future of a peaceful death is too far gone; not within his sight any longer. It didn’t matter how far his dream was, at least it was in his sight. Now it didn’t matter at all because it isn’t visible. His chances… they have disappeared with the appearance of this unfair man-baby.
Tsuna couldn’t stand by. ‘Not now, not like this. Not when I’ve grown so much closer to my own abstraction of idealistic euthanasia, of a painless death… I won’t die so brutally!’
