Work Text:

In Yabai’s defence, how could he have known that the city’s newest hero was obscenely strong?

Ohgaman didn’t look any different from the androids that were produced these days. Shiny white, lightweight, pristine looking armour. A face that’d been sculpted by somebody with an appreciation for good looks. He looked solid and heavy, but tech was getting better by the year, so maybe he weighed less than Yabai did.

Sure, he’d been the product of some kind of top secret joint corporate-government endeavour. And sure, he’d been in the headlines multiple times, which was unusual for somebody who was barely three months old. The company’s pet android project inheriting the position of CEO, at the insistence of the now deceased previous CEO, had been eyebrow raising, to say the least.

Yabai had gotten a good laugh out of hearing Ohgaman had fired everybody on the executive board and converted the company into an employee-owned one.

However, Yabai had punched his share of experimental androids, and, more often than not, they crumpled (literally) at their first glance with actual violence.

Ohgaman… had done the opposite of crumpling.

“You could have just said hello,” Ohgaman said conversationally, as if Yabai’s sword weren’t embedded all the way in his shoulder.

“Ah…” Yabai said, watching it with increasing horror as Ohgaman grabbed the hilt and pulled it out with ease, as if it’d just been a splinter.

Yabai considered abandoning his rather expensive sword and making a run for it. But. He had a feeling he wouldn’t make it far.

Desperate times… He launched himself at Ohgaman, intending to do as much damage as (in)humanly possible. Ohgaman punched him, fist glowing bright blue. It felt like being hit with a wrecking ball.

When Yabai came to his senses, Ohgaman had him pinned against a table, arm twisted behind his back. His forearm was pressed on Yabai’s upper back with enough force that he could hear his joints creaking from the strain.

“Ambushing me was cowardly,” Ohgaman said into his ear. “You think I’m going to let you go in one piece?”

“Please don’t kill me I’m sorry I wasn’t trying to— '' Yabai shrieked loudly, stopping as Ohgaman put even more pressure on him. His back armour buckled and there was an ominous metallic crunching sound from inside his arm.

A moment later, the pressure eased. Ohgaman touched his ruined back with something like a caress. “I was joking,” he said.

“Huh?!” Yabai said wildly.

“I’m not going to hurt you. Much. Unless you want me to,” Ohgaman said.

Yabai tried to flip himself over. It didn’t go well, as he’d instinctually braced his injured arm on the table and hadn’t been expecting the pain. Ohgaman caught him by the torso, stopping him from falling to the ground.

“This is a pretty fucked up joke,” Yabai informed him. He now had his back on the table and Ohgaman was far too close to him. He was still touching Yabai’s torso with one hand, the other spread on the table.

“Consider it retaliation for you hurting me,” Ohgaman said, tilting his head. He… looked stunning, Yabai had to reluctantly admit. The sheen on his shiny armour from the overhead light was attractive as hell. Android makers had a tendency to make them handsome, but Ohgaman was something else. His visor was pushed back, giving Yabai an unimpeded view of the elegant shape of his eyes and the fine angled lines running down his cheeks.

Yabai was going to scratch the shit out of his perfect face the first chance he got.

“So… Can I go then?” Yabai said hopefully.

Ohgaman held up a finger. “First, a question. Did you just want to horrifically injure me?”

“No, uh, I…” Yabai was metaphorically sweating bullets as Ohgaman looked at him expectantly. He was so not going to like his answer. “I was just going to intimidate you into giving me your money!”

Ohgaman’s reaction was… to laugh. “You don’t need to do that. I’ll give you my money whenever you want,” he said.

Yabai stared at him. “Again, this is a fucked up joke.”

“I’m being serious,” Ohgaman said. He laid a hand on his chest, the touch gentle. “I admire you a lot, and you’re beautiful.”

Yabai felt a bubble of hysterical giggling welling up. “Holy shit. I thought you were like, lawful good, but you wanna fuck me?”

Ohgaman shrugged. “I may be a hero, but you’re not truly evil, so I don’t see anything wrong with it.”

Yabai threw an arm around his shoulders and leant against him, some of the giggles escaping. The local scene had suddenly gotten a lot more interesting.
