I remember her
The way she smiled so softly,
I remember her
The way she’d save me some coffee.
I remember walking to the cafe Stepping in puddles through the rain, I remember waiting
Just to capture a glimpse of her face.
I remember collapsing,
From the pain and loss of blood.
I remember the shock I felt,
When she said she wanted my heart.
I remember her pulling the pin off her choker, And war broke out before her.
I remember waking up against the shore, Hearing “why did you revive me?”
I remember saying I dont mind giving up my life, As long as you’re with me.
I remember laughing,
“I’ll meet you at the cafe at 3.”
