Chapter 1: Greg Heffley

Chapter Text

Item #: SCP-882-W

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-882-W instances are to be contained in a 20x20 centimeter glass box. Glass box should be bullet-proof plexiglass. A door in front of the glass box allowing entry to SCP-882-W instances are necessary. Lock should require a basic locker code. Code is [REDACTED].

Description: SCP-882-W instances are books that read "DIARY" on the top of the cover, the spine usually being decorated with different darker or lighter colors. SCP-882-W instances are quite ordinary on the outside. Pages of the diaries are often 217 pages long on average. Pages are 0.05mm as individuals. These diaries contain moving illustrations of the subject who owns them, Greg Heffley (hereby being referred to as SCP-882-W-A). Diaries often are about experiences of SCP-882-W-A.

Addendum #1

SCP-882-W instances listed here.

SCP-882-W-1 is a maroon colored book with letters at the top of the book reading "DIARY". The spine of the book is striped in slightly darker colors. This is most likely the original SCP-882-W considering that SCP-882-W-A starts off the book introducing itself. SCP-882-W-A owns this diary, claiming it "wasn't a diary" and was actually "a journal".

SCP-882-W-2 is a blue colored book with letters at the top of the book reading "DIARY". The spine of the book is striped in a slightly darker blue. This is a continuation of SCP-882-W-2, as SCP-882-W-A confirms in an interview. SCP-882-W-2 is referred to as "Rodrick Rules" by SCP-882-W-A.

SCP-882-W-3 is a pea green colored book with letters at the top of the book reading "DIARY". The spine of the book is a lighter color than the cover of the book, and the stripes are darker than the cover. It is the third diary. It is nicknamed as "The Last Straw" by SCP-882-W-A.

All other SCP-882-W instances are unrecorded and are being investigated by Foundation Personnel.

Item #: SCP-882-W-A

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-882-W-A is to be put in a standard humanoid SCP cell. Books should be supplied every three months for SCP-882-W-A. Attempts to argue with SCP-882-W-A are not to be made unless interviewing. SCP-882-W-A is to be given food and water once a day. Diet consists of cereal, broccoli, and other healthy foods. If SCP-882-W-A rejects food, it will be given one piece of cake. Chickpeas are forbidden for SCP-882-W-A.

Description: SCP-882-W-A is a cartoonish humanoid representing a middle school boy around 11-14. Subject wears white shirt and black shorts, and is often slouching. SCP-882-W-A shows very little empathy towards others, and can be labelled as "sociopathic" this diagnosis was denied, however, and we are set on focusing for a new one that accurately depicts the subject. SCP-882-W-A has little hairs on its head, with only 3 black hairs. SCP-882-W-A is quite ignorant and irrational when it doesn't get exactly what it wants. It can be antisocial at times, being unwilling to talk to Foundation personnel. Other than the antisocial behaviors SCP-882-W-A presents, SCP-882-W-A seems to be a normal middle school child. If any event is to happen to SCP-882-W-A, it will be recorded in its most recent journal without SCP-882-W-A touching it. When talking directly to SCP-882-W-A, interviewers say their knowledge of SCP-882-W-A's lack of empathy had "dissipated". SCP-882-W-A can be manipulative at times. It seems to not know its own wrong behavior, and sees it as normalcy. Due to the Foundation only finding SCP-882-W-A after its "birthday" we cannot determine whether or not it ages.
