Work Text:

That transitional period of winter before the snow starts falling, it always feels so sad. The sky is grey and it's always cold; everything is somehow always wet, and the trees and grass frost over night. Tonight it's just cold, no poetic or beautiful cold, just miserable and uncomfortable cold.

Thankfully, Millennial Tree has a large blanket and a warm bed. With what little consciousness they had left, fully indulged in the comfort of - *fwoop*

And just like that Timekeeper had ripped that comfort away from them. Millennial Tree had known that Timekeeper was a blanket hog, yet every night they still chose to sleep in the same bed. The cool air offered it's own embrace, a satisfying contrast to the warm heat. But, Millennial Tree didn't want to linger in this feeling. They wanted their warmth back.

They knew it was probably a ploy to get them to cuddle, Timekeeper liked playing games like that. Millennial Tree didn't like that they did, he always tries to get them to just ask. This time however, Millennial Tree would give them exactly what they want.

In one smooth motion Millennial Tree wrapped their arms around Timekeeper and pulled the blanket over the both of them. Timekeeper was a little surprised at Millennial Tree's swiftness, but quickly lent into their embrace turning around to hug them back.

Tonight is just cold. Thankfully, Millennial Tree has a large blanket, a warm bed, and someone to share it with. So, with what little consciousness they had left, they fully indulge in their warm embrace
