If love can be put into the spectacle of competition, Jaemin and Haechan would perfectly fit inside its perfectly carved frames. The endless bickerings speak adoration. One can not dare to stop getting into each other's skin endearingly, because every time they do, another sort of fondness adds to their towering reasons for being in love with one another.
Jaemin teased because he likes seeing Haechan smirk and poke his tongue against his cheeks. That tongue thing of his gets Jaemin all the time. He taunts Haechan out of sheer fun, and in return, he gets to feel him more dearly.
As for Haechan, annoying Jaemin is an impulse he'll never not tend to. Why would he? When only he, could unfold Jaemin into his childlike nature; frowning and pouting without losing the well-drawn charm of his beauty.
What's about rivalry sparking hate, if Jaemin and Haechan's clashing personalities are what make their love go? But as much as vying with each other is where they find harmony, they could as well be captivated by being precious.
Something to never tire out from when one of them gets all pouty over the most superficial matter there is.
There would be days when Jaemin is aloof from others just because, or once he did not get to drink his coffee, he gets all sulky that not even Haechan can easily get him cheery. and the next thing they know, Haechan has already jumped on the tracks of his sullen behavior too.
Nevertheless, whatever reason there is, it always ends up with them cuddling and wooing each other. That's how their love goes, still finding the depths of their love despite being pulled by their own antics.
And if their love can go further than this, it is when both of them can sit past the long hours of talking through the hard things that hurdle them.
Nothing comes easy with the way Jaemin and Haechan are outside their own bubble of togetherness. First, they are not exactly the social butterflies people expect them to be.
Only they can unfold each other's carefree selves. Only Haechan could draw out the twinkle in jaemin's eye. Only he can get an encounter with the most quirky Jaemin there is to exist. On the other hand, it's only Jaemin that can soften haechan's intimidating stance. Only he can get way past haechan's staggering walls.
That's how their love goes, it goes parallel. it is simultaneous. Their hearts are mirrored, endlessly reflecting one another's love despite not being intertwined like what others always say how love should be.
Haechan and Jaemin's hearts are parallels, not tangled, but coexist side by side.
That's how their love goes, never apart.
