Work Text:
The one time Sho spent the night at Hanekoma’s place, which was not by choice but by accident, he had complained about how uncomfortable his bed was. Which was fine. He had a futon. He didn’t use an actual bed, it got in the way of his art. His furniture had always been incredibly limited simply because it all got in the way of his art, his work, the important things in life for him. But for Sho, he didn’t like that. Different styles of living.
He didn’t know how Sho lived, he had never been over to his place (for good reason), so he couldn’t see his bedroom, but he imagined he had his own proper bed with his computer equipment to become a full on homebody. Fair enough. Hanekoma’s not here to judge him for his home lifestyle. But when he came over to spend time, it felt really weird to not even be able to offer him a comfortable place to sleep.
Really, part of him said he should make Sho deal with the futon. Especially if this went any further. But part of him was really not about to start an argument about it.
The one nice thing about the apartment above Wildkat was that it had a second bedroom, which he had been using for storage and his computer when dealing with businesses and fashion. He wasn’t fully tablet yet but he might consider making the move especially now. A cheap bed for Sho was enough, especially since he wasn’t quite staying the night just yet. But the idea of giving him his own space in his place since he was starting to stay more and more was really ideal.
Opening up the window, letting the curtains up and giving it a quick dust made it a decent enough room to stay in. It was never going to be extravagant or over the top, that’s not how Hanekoma wanted his place to be, but it was enough. A bed, a desk, and the closet to put any extras he might leave behind here when he wanted to stay longer.
If he wanted to stay longer.
He took a deep breath, feeling the cleanness of the room in his body as he heard the door open to his apartment, and the boots flying around as per their usual (he’s going to have to have a talk about throwing boots wherever he wants). When Sho walks over to Hanekoma, he peaks in the room, “Gettin’ a roommate?” Is what he says.
“Mmm, maybe. For now, though, this can be yours when you come over.”
Sho’s eyes open wide and he turns his head to look at Hanekoma who just gives a little shrug, “Consider it the one nice thing I can do for you to get you to stay a lil longer.”
“...You know my mom isn’t going to like that.”
“Eh, you’re an adult now. Maybe you need to do something without her permission every once and a while?”
Sho just blinked and shook his head, “You’re a shitty influence.”
Hanekoma just let out a laugh and shook his head as he tossed Sho a pillow, “Never said I wasn’t, kid.”
