Spring is ending, meaning summer is almost here and Hiiro had just been invited to go to the beach with Aira which was exciting because during finals they haven't been able to hang out as much. Okay yeah they could always hang out after school but Aira was literally forced to do night school because apparently he wasn’t doing so well…
“So?” Aira tapped his finger on Hiiro’s desk. “Would you like to go with me?” He asked, knowing damn well that he was going to say yes.
“Yes!” He beamed. Of course he wanted to go hang with his “friend”
“Great, let's go.” pulling Hiiro’s hand.
“Right now?” He said confusingly getting up from his seat from the pull..
“Yes now! Let’s go!” Grabbing his hand and running quickly out of the classroom door.
Leaving half of the students confused since it was both Aira’s and Hiiro’s turn for cleaning duty. The whole class were wondering who should be on cleaning duty and they looked at a certain someone with blue glasses.
Guess Makoto is cleaning the room again for the fiftieth time…

The two had arrived at the beach and since it’s not open yet there are not many people, it’s like they had the whole area reserved for themselves. Hiiro was amazed at how the beach looked in person since he has only seen them in photos. He was soon startled by Aira’s squeaking??
“This breeze is amazing!” He beamed. “Come on Hiiro-kun, let's go find a spot!” He said excitedly about to move but something kept him from moving as if he was holding something warm.
“Huh is something wrong Aira?” Said Hiiro, worried that he had done something wrong.
“…”
He didn’t answer at all, feeling his hand tighten. “
Why does it feel like someone is holding my hand?”
He wondered. That’s when it finally got to him. He looked down to see that he was STILL holding Hiiro’s hand from earlier!
“OMGOMGOMG I FORGOT THAT I WAS ONE THAT HELD HIS HAND WHEN WE LEFT SCHOOL!!!
Aira’s heart started to race.
Why didn’t he realize sooner and also why didn’t Hiiro say anything!?
“THIS IS SOSOSO EMBARRASSING! I'M SUCH AN IDIOT FOR NOT NOTICING!”
“Uh Aira?”
“Aira?”
“Airaaaaa?”
Poor Hiiro… No matter how many times he said his name with that dumb smile on his face the blonde didn’t answer as he was too busy screaming, crying, and kicking his feet…
“…“
Which felt like hours Aira had finally snapped from his thoughts. Hiiro asked him if there was something wrong since he had been saying his name for how long. Aira laughed it off saying “N-No, nothing wrong at all haha!” He quickly let go of his hand, face still bright red. Hiiro was going to ask why his face was red but was cut off by Aira saying something so fast that his brain couldn’t even process what he was saying, ok… he did hear the name Rei but that was it.
Guess he’ll ask him later.
“Hiiro-kun!” Aira called out to him. “Why are you still standing there? I found a spot for us.”
“Oh uh coming!” He said running over to him.
“Wow he’s fast :)”

“Sure is a good thing that the convenience store nearby sold blankets.” Aira said happily.
“Yeah.” Replied Hiiro. “It kinda feels like we’re in those k dramas you watch haha.”
“Yeah it does. Since we’re wearing our school uniforms it sort of feels like a date-” Aira paused. He just realized that this is more like a date rather than a hangout with friends. Unless he was thinking about it too much. He decided to brush it off for now. Getting up to take off his shoe making his way to the ocean as he was kicking around while giggling to himself.
“This is so fun~!” He continued to play around, almost losing his balance. “Come on Hiiro-kun, join me!”
Hiiro already had his shoes off from playing in the sand. He made his way to Aira but was startled from the cold water touching his feet.
“It’s freezing!” He exclaimed, making Aira laugh.
“It’s water so it’s supposed to be cold but yeah, it will soon start to warm up once you stay in longer.”
“I guess you’re right… Haha.” He laughed softly. “Sorry this is my first time doing something like this.” He said while awkwardly scratching the back of his head.
Aira didn’t say anything. He knew about Hiiro not knowing much about the outside world so he isn’t all that street smart but when it came to school work he is really smart! (Which Aira still doesn’t understand)
Hiiro continued. “I have seen them in pictures but this… it’s huge!, they are so much bigger in person!” He exclaimed.
“It’s beautiful...”
Aira stared at him. Eyes going soft and glossy. He remembered during that time on the train after the conference was over and he remembered Hiiro saying…
“I remember being told that I should use the word beautiful unless it means something from the heart… Today when I saw you in the Christmas fairy costume it was beautiful… You were really really beautiful Aira!”
Thinking back on it made him blush a little. Knowing that he truly means it and was one of the first to be called beautiful from him.
Right now…
With the way how Hirro is looking directly at the ocean with a smile…probably wondering how far it goes…

Aira took a deep breath.“Then… let’s go… lots of places together, just the two of us!”
Hiiro looked at Aira smiling happily from what he had said. With summer being around the corner they both have the entire break to hangout!
