Melody opens her eyes to see light. She finally sees light after staying in that container for so long. She stares at the light and felt the petals of the flowers…. Wait, FELT?! Melody widens her eyes and sat up, to see she in fact physical. No heart is showing from her chest, just her normal physical body. Melody touches her face and then her chest, before screaming in either joy or shock.
”UGH, SHUT UP, I AM SLEEPING!”
Melody stopped screaming and her eyes fly rapidly to find any source of the yelling, before her eyes aimed at a boy wearing a cowboy costume. His eyes are closed, his hair is brown and short, and he is gritting sharp teeth. The two stare at each other before the cowboy stopped gritting his teeth.
“…. You’re that blue soul, aren’t you?” The cowboy said slowly.
Melody nodded and pointed at the cowboy.
”And you’re that yellow soul who kept complaining about injustice or be grumpy.” Melody said.
The cowboy furrows his closed eyes, crossing his arms and gritting his sharp teeth.
”What are you doing here? I don’t expect you meet you in the flesh, partner. Anyways, my name is Clover and you? I can’t keep calling ya blue forever.” The cowboy asked, through his gritted teeth.
”I would ask the same question, but it seems you don’t know either. And my name is Melody.” Melody said, narrowing her eyes at Clover.
Clover huffs and stands up, digging though his pockets before grinning and pulling out an empty revolver.
“I missed that ol thing.” Clover chuckles.
Melody stands up and adjusted her blue jacket and dusts her tutu, frowning. Clover walked away from Melody and through the entrance of the ruins. Melody ran after Clover, observing the place.
“I wonder if Toriel still remembers me.” Clover said.
”Wait, you met Toriel?” Melody asked.
Clover shrugs and nods. Melody remembers the time she stayed with Toriel. Toriel is pretty nice and gives her attention(and affection). It a shame that Melody decided to leave the ruins, as this was her mistake. Melody rubs her head as Clover walks into the ruins, calling out for Toriel.
”Howdy! I am home! Howdy? Howdy?”
Clover frowns as Melody reached to Clover. Clover sighs and continues walking.
”I wonder why you are following me.” Clover asked, as he does the puzzle and unlocks the door.
Melody huffs and walks through the door. As the two continue walking, they noticed the absence of the dummy. Clover frowns and Melody glances around. They shrug it off and continue walking, but as they did, they noticed no other monster came after them. It’s pretty much empty. There weren’t even sentient rocks.
“This gotta be a prank.” Melody mutters to Clover.
Clover stayed silent, as they went to each room. They went to the candy room, where they left the candy room after taking one rock candy. They then went to a spiderweb, where Melody places some gold coins on the web.
”Why would you do that?” Clover asked.
”To be nice.” Melody said, shrugging.
Clover sighs and they continue forward. Despite the oddity that no monster came to harm them, they are determined to go to Home.
