Cold blue light of the phone screen broke the darkness of the night. Kazuha wasn't sleeping anyway neither he had to look at his device. It was probably Beidou reminding him that they are leaving for the airport in the morning.
When did his carefree life turn into a full time job of her business partner?
The girl sleeping beside him breathed steadily, her chest was raising gently as she laid cuddled into his side. She smelled with sweet fruits and that pleasant scent filled his chest with pain.
Evening spend with (Y/n) was amazing. They laughed, wandered around the city, drank a little alcohol, kissed softly on the bridge and then kissed many more times before they fell asleep in her place.
Like a pair of careless teenagers.
Unwanted guilt rose within him, nearly like he had committed a crime. Maybe he did. But why?
He didn't want to upset her as much as he didn't want to be separated from her and it was driving him sleepless. With his attachment clearly claimed by dark brown marks left on (Y/n)'s body, he was beginning to feel desperate.
Was she really another person he had to let go, another thing he could not have for his own..?
Already longing for her warmth, he leaned in to place a kiss on the top of her head. At least for few more hours, she was all his.
