Did you know that all flowers have meanings to them?
Max is holding a yellow zinnia, which represents a daily remembrance & affection. They are a good way to express how much one has been missed when they've spent time apart.
She is also holding lily of the valley, which represents return to happiness & rebirth. Oftentimes Lily of the Valley are given as apology flowers, especially when one isn't sure how to apologize. It represents rebuilding a relationship should the apology be accepted.
The flowers along the bottom are as follows:
Green Dahlia - big change & new beginnings whilst remaining true to oneself
Green (water) Lily - renewal, growth, feelings (some religions also believe it means resurrection)
Purple Carnation - in an apology bouquet, indicates a change of heart and willingness to patch up differences
Blue & Pink Hydrangea - pink represents love and other deep emotions; blue represents apology, regret, and forgiveness
White Forget-Me-Not - new beginnings, a fresh start, purity
Red Poppy - consolation, remembrance, and death. The flower in general can represent sacrifice
Yellow Chrysanthemum - can mean either sorrow & neglected love, but modernly mean happiness and high spirits
