My boyfriend, Kou Minamoto, and I were on a date just enjoying our time together. While we’re walking, we came across a raffle stand and the grand prize is a trip at a hot spring, and what does my boyfriend had to say about it.
“Hey let’s try that.”
So, since I can’t refuse him, we tried it and just like that we won the grand prize. I was shocked by the fact that we won the grand prize, I was expecting to get one of the normal prizes like a tissue or something. When we realized we won the grand prize, Kou quickly hugged me.
That was a few days ago, now we’re on our way to the hot spring and stay there for 3 days.
“Are we there yet?” I asked,
Kou glanced at me while he is driving. “We’re nearly there.”
“But we’ve been driving for ages.” I whined.
“It’s only been an hour”
I continued to whine and the reason for that is to get his attention, but mostly because I’m bored. After a few more minutes of driving, we arrived at the hot springs. The place is near a mountain and because of that the view is so beautiful. It’s mostly trees, but it feels so peaceful and quiet. We checked in and a staff member led us to our room. The room is spacious, there’s even a huge window and you can see many interesting things. I can see a lake nearby from here.
“Do you want to go over to the lake?” Kou asked, “We could take pictures for your portfolio.”
I sat down and rested my head on the table “Maybe later, I’m tired from the trip to get here.”
“I was the one who drove us here though.” Kou deadpanned me.
“I got tired from staring at my cute boyfriend.” I smirked, “Not as cute as me though.”
Kou sighed, but I can see his ears red tinted. He sat down next to me and rested his hand on top of mine.
“But I would like to go to the lake.” I said, intertwining our fingers “With you.”
We decided to eat lunch first before we explore the surrounding area. We ordered some food from the staff and they delivered it to our room. We ate in comfortable silence.
“Their food here are delicious.” Kou said,
“They’re good.” I said, “but, it’s not as good as your cooking.”
Kou smiled after I said that and he never stopped smiling for the rest of the day, just because of what I said about his cooking. After we ate, we’re headed to the nearby lake and wonder around when we get there and take some pictures.
We got there after about 10 minutes of walking since there wasn’t a trail or path to follow towards the lake. It’s beautiful here, the way the sun shines, but not too bright. The ambiance of rushing water. The overall aesthetic of the environment is beautiful.
“This is perfect for my portfolio.” I said, snapping pictures “It’s so beautiful here, right Kou?”
As I said that I turned to look at him.
“Yeah.” He said in such a soft voice while looking at me. “So beautiful.”
I was incredibly flustered when he said that, the way he genuinely said that made my heart ache in a good way. He always finds a way to make my heart feel like this every time I’m with him. I hope I make him feel the same way he makes me feel about him when we’re together.
We walked around for a bit more snapping pictures of the scenery, wildlife, and secretly taking a few pictures of Kou, which became a habit. He always looks so perfect in my pictures, of course that can be because of my talent, but the subject of the photo must also be visually pleasing and makes you feel certain kind of emotions, in this case he’s both.
“Hey, lame earing.” I said to him “Let’s take a picture together.”
He sighed but walked towards me anyway.
“Still calling me by that nickname?”
“It’s the first nickname I gave you.” I said, getting ready to snap a picture “Besides it suits you.”
We took the picture and it came out perfect, just us and the beautiful scenery.
“We should head back now.” Kou said, “The sun’s setting.”
“Alright.” I said, stretching “Race you back!”
“Hey! No fair!”
We raced back to the hot springs, even though I ran first Kou caught up to me and got back first. He’s faster that me, he trains his body because he said he wants to strong enough to protect the one he loves. We got back, we’re both breathless and sweaty.
“I won!” Kou boast.
”Whatever.” I said, crossing my arms “You only one because you’re mostly muscles.”
We bickered for a few minutes, but after that he held my hand. “Anyway, let’s go to take a bath I’m sweaty.”
We went back to our room and grabbed our towels and headed to the hot springs together. We’re finally at the hot springs and started to strip our clothes, then I realized this is going to be the first time we see each other nearly naked. I already took my shirt off and quickly took a glance at Kou, he’s already naked and have his towel around his waist and I got flustered.
“Hey, why haven’t you-“
“Don’t look you pervert!” I said, I smacked my palm onto his face. Good thing we’re alone “ You go first.”
He went in the hot spring first, when I saw him relaxed there, I resumed to take my clothes off completely and tied the towel around my waist and walked to the hot spring. I slowly walked there, embarrassed and went in the hot spring a bit far away from Kou.
“Why are you all the way over there?” Kou asked.
I didn’t answer, I just fidgeted and incredibly embarrassed. Kou then slowly approached me, and I tried to distance myself again, but he got close again and to stop me from distancing myself by putting his arm around me. I was paralyzed, I couldn’t process what was happening Kou has his arm around me and his face so close to mine. He must have noticed I was tense and so, to ease the tension that I was feeling he ruffled my hair.
“Come on relax.” Kou said, flashing me that contagious smile of his “This is supposed to be a relaxing trip, why are you so nervous?”
My nervousness faded because of him, he always knows what to do to calm me down, no matter how stupid it is, it’s how he executes it, it’s always too sweet and heartfelt. I responded by splashing water at his face.
“Hey!”
“That’s for ruining my hair.”
He splashed water on me, of course I retaliated, we did for a while before stopping completely and just relaxed, our shoulders now touching. We got out of the hot springs and dried ourselves and wore the yukata that was provided for us and went in to the open area of the inn. They have massage chairs so, I asked Kou if we could try it. We tried it, it was so relaxing I could just fall asleep there, but the chair soon stopped, and we headed back to our room.
The sun already set, Kou and I are eating dinner peacefully at our room conversing as we ate.
“So, what should we do tomorrow?” Kou asked. “We’ve got two more day here.”
“I don’t know?”
I then got an idea of what to do for tomorrow. “Hey, since we did what I wanted today, why don’t we do something you want tomorrow.”
“That’s fine by me, but what I wanted is already here.”
I looked at him confused, “And what would that be?”
“Spending time with you.”
He said that with a straight face, meanwhile I’m here mouth slightly agape and flustered. We finished eating and already cleaned up, I then came up with something to make him flustered, since he always makes me flustered.
“Since you wanted to spend time with me,” I started “Why don’t we drink some sake?”
Kou looked hesitant, “S-Sure.”
We got the sake and I poured us some, I knew he was a lightweight when it comes to alcohol and when he gets drunk, he starts doing some embarrassing things and I’ll just drink slowly so I don’t get drunk fast. After just a few drinks, Kou’s already looking tipsy, so I decided that I’ll try to move on to the next step of my plan.
“So, Kou?” I said sliding next to him. “How do you feel?”
“Fine, just a little dizzy.”
Good, it’s working. After a few more drinks, the intoxication starts to be noticeable, I begun to get close to him and slightly grazing our fingers. I did this a few more times, then he starts to lean his body onto me and rest his head on my shoulder.
“I’m so lucky Sousuke.” He said,
“Why is that?”
Kou raised his head, leaned in his head and looked me. “Because you’re here with me.”
I blushed when he said that, he just said that so casually with a smile on his face. I’m supposed to make him embarrassed, but here I am the one being embarrassed.
“I love you, Sousuke.” Kou said, hugging me and snuggling his head on my chest. He then leaned too much, and I lost balance and fell on my back so, our position is a little suggestive, he’s in between my legs and his head still on my chest.
“H-hey!”
“I love you so much, Sousuke.” Kou said, lifting his head and move his body a little bit so he can look at me in the eyes. “I feel like I don’t deserve you.”
This adorable idiot, I’m that important to him. After he said that I can’t help myself but hug him tightly, he then hugs me back and rests his head on my neck. After a while of hugging, I felt a kiss on my neck and then another one, soon it became sucking, no doubt leaving a hickey.
“K-Kou?” I moaned
“You’re so beautiful, Sousuke”
He then kissed me in the lips, I just melted in his embrace while kissing me. After all the kissing and the hickeys, he gave me, I couldn’t think straight, and he gave me one last kiss on the lips more passionate this time. He once again rested his head on my neck, I felt his breathing get softer and softer, I then realized we’re still on the floor and we haven’t prepared our futons yet.
“Hey, Kou.” I said, lightly shaking him “We still need to lay out our futons.”
His hug just got tighter when I tried to shake him. After a while of convincing, he reluctantly let go of me and I started laying our futons out. As soon as I laid them out, Kou just laid down and passed out, I laid down on my futon, but I felt cold and lonely so, I got close to Kou and hugged him and he unconsciously hugged me back and in return I snuggled my head on his chest and slowly went to sleep. The next day I showed a sober Kou his work on my neck and he was incredibly red.
