February 14th.
An important day for many couples or for those who want to confess to their crush.
For Yuuta it is important because of the second reason.
It took a long time for him to finally make the decision to confess. Many thoughts went through Yuuta’s mind when was deciding like ‘What if he rejects me, or What if I ruin our friendship?’ It is The last thing Yuuta wants to happen is to ruin his friendship with his cherished friend.
Yuuta finally decided to go for it though. His feelings for his friend were strong and he wanted to let them know. The chance for his feelings to be returned were slim. He just hopes he can continue being friends with his crush and let his feeling move on.
Although it would be nice if the feelings are returned. Then his dreams of being able to kiss and hold hands with his crush can finally come true.
Yuuta puts the bag of chocolates he made into his bag and leaves to go to school.

The plan is to do the confession after school so that way if he is rejected it won’t be awkward all day at school. The cons of this plan though is that he is going to be nervous all day.
As he enters the classroom he sees his crush.
“Good morning Yuuta-kun” says Shinobu with a bright smile.
Yuuta’s heart bursts at the sight. His best friend is so cute he wishes to just hold him tight and see his smile all the time. How is he supposed to survive all day.
He walks over to his seat which is across from where Shinobu sits.
“Good morning Shinobu-kun. How are you today?”
“This ninja is doing pretty good! The school is really lively today because it’s Valentine’s! I wonder what’s going to happen throughout the day” says Shinobu.
“Oh yeah, you’re right a lot will happen today huh?” Yuuta says, “By the way Shinobu-kun do you want to walk back to the dorms with me today?”
“Yeah of course Yuuta-kun. We can meet at the exit later.” says Shinobu
The teacher comes in after that and the class begins.

Yuuta waits at the gates. Feeling nervous because soon he’ll have to confess Shinobu. He decided that he could confess at the park which is on the way back to ES.
“Yuuta-kun!” yells Shinobu as he runs up to Yuuta, “Sorry to keep you waiting Yuuta-kun I needed to hand something in at the student council”
“Don’t worry about it I didn’t wait too long. You ready to go?”
“Yep!”
They both begin to walk and they talk to each other about their days. Shinobu talks about how the Ninja Association helped clean up around the school since someone always asks them to do so through their anonymous suggestion box.
They soon approach the park and it is time to act on his plan. “Shinobu-kun do you want to walk through the park? It seems like a really nice day to walk through it.”
“Yeah that’s fine Yuuta-kun. I still have some time before practice starts.”
‘This is it’ Yuuta thinks. He feels his heart speed up and his palms begin to feel sweaty. He starts to look around trying to find a bench where it was far from people’s view. He soon spots a bench up ahead.
“Let’s go sit at that bench Shinobu-kun.” He points to where the bench is at and the ninja nods. He leads them to it and they both sit down. His mind starts racing as soon as they sit.
‘Should I just say it now? Maybe I should give the chocolates first and then confess?’ He quickly takes out the chocolates from his bag and turns to face the ninja.
“Shinobu-kun I made these chocolates for you! For Valentine’s day!” Yuuta exclaims as he holds out the bagged chocolates in front of him.
“I really like you a lot, in a romantic way. I always enjoy our time together and my heart races when I see you smile. I just wanted to let you know of my feelings and ask if you want to be my boyfriend?”
Yuuta feels the bag of chocolate be lifted off from his hands and he looks back at Shinobu. *‘When did I look away?’* The ninja looks at the chocolates and Yuuta thinks he sees a blush but he isn’t sure.
“Yuuta-kun I really like you a lot in a romantic way too and I do want to be your boyfriend” Shinobu says. Yuuta can now certainly tell that Shinobu, is in fact blushing. Yuuta reaches to hold his now boyfriend’s hand. The ninja’s hand is warm and it fits perfectly against Yuuta’s hand.
“Yuuta-kun can I give you a kiss on the cheek?” Shinobu asks. Yuuta nods his heat beating fast. The ninja moves a little closer and soon Yuuta feels soft lips right against his cheek.

Later in the dorms Shinobu finally gets to eat the chocolates he was given. He takes a bite and instantly feels the spiciness take over his tastebuds. The chocolate Yuuta made must be for keeping his body warm in the cold.
Shinobu feels so lucky to have a sweet boyfriend making spicy chocolate for him.
