sorting ceremony
It is another year on Hogwarts. Freshmen are invited to step forward for the sorting ceremony.
"Once I called your name, please step forward and sit here. I will be putting the sorting hat on your head to determine which house you belong." Professor McGonagall instructed the freshmen.
"Kim Dahyun?" Proffesor McGonagall called the first freshman. Dahyun gulped as she walks toward the chair. As soon as she sat down, McGonagall placed the hat on her head.
"Such sweet looking girl. I know exactly where to put you. Hufflepuff!" The crowd of Hufflepuff rejoiced with their new member.
Dahyun went to the table of Hufflepuff. Two older students went beside her and offered their hand to her.
"Sana. Minatozaki Sana. Welcome to Hufflepuff." Dahyun clearly noticed her really sweet smile.
"Dahyun. Kim Dahyun. Pleasure to meet you." Dahyun smiled as she shook her hand.
"Momo. Hirai Momo. We're two years older than you." Momo winked at her. She awkwardly laughed but still shook Momo's hand.
"Momoring stop flirting with the freshman." Sana smacked Momo's head playfully and they both laughed. Even if she still feels awkward, Dahyun is glad she found some people to talk to.

"Son Chaeyoung." McGonagall called another freshman. Chaeyoung did not hesitate and stepped forward and sat down. The sorting hat is placed in her head, she smirked.
"Naughty and clever, I see." The sorting hat started. "The traits of a Slytherin."
"I know, I'm cool but don't put me in Slytherin." Chaeyoung whispered.
"Not Slytherin eh? I see, I see. Gryffindor!!" Chaeyoung smirked even more.
She made her way to the Gryffindor table. Chaeyoung was about to sit down but someone called her.
"Psst, tiger looking freshman, come here." A tall and blond girl called her, so she decided to go next to her.
"Me?" Chaeyoung pointed herself, confirming.
"Yup. Son Chaeyoung?" The tall girl asked so she nodded. "Jeongyeon. Yoo Jeongyeon." Jeongyeon offered her hand so she shook it.
"Jeong, let the freshman go." Another blond girl said but this one is a bit shorter than Jeongyeon.
"Jih, calm down. I'm not doing anything yet. That's Jihyo. Park Jihyo. We're two years older than you." Jeongyeon said.
"Pleasure to meet you, Jihyo-unnie." Chaeyoung offered her hand to Jihyo. Jihyo smiled and accepted the handshake.
"Why'd you refuse Slytherin?" Another girl spoke out of nowhere.
"Uh, I really wanted to be here in Gryffindor, so I refused." Despite being confused, Chaeyoung answered.
"Nabongs, don't take away my new buddy. Oh... I'm sorry, you can't." Jeongyeon laughed as she teased the Slytherin girl. Wait... Slytherin? This is the Gryffindor's table.
"Nayeon-unnie, what are you doing here?" Jihyo asked the Slytherin girl.
"Slytherin table is very boring right now. Anyways, I'm Nayeon. Im Nayeon. Slytherin's prettiest witch." She flipped her brown hair.
"Chaeyoung. Son Chaeyoung." Chaeyoung offered her hand which Nayeon happily accepted.
"Nabongs, get your fine ass back to Slytherin." Jeongyeon remarked.
"Jeong, I know my ass is fine, but I didn't know you're looking at it." Nayeon smirked.
"Tsk tsk, Jeongie, you got caught." Jihyo added, smirking as well. Chaeyoung laughed with the playfulness of the three students with her right now.

"Chou Tzuyu." McGonagall called the second to the last freshman.
"Hmm, such complicated kid. Smart and creative. Quiet but dangerous. You must be a... Ravenclaw!!"
Tzuyu smiled a little and immediately went to Ravenclaw table. Her attention is caught by a quiet looking blond, sitting all alone. She went by her side and sat down.
"Oh, I didn't expect you here, Chou Tzuyu." The girl suddenly spoke.
"You seem alone." Tzuyu reasoned out.
"My close friends are in Hufflepuff. So technically, I'm not alone." The girl looked at Tzuyu.
"Technically, you're alone right now." Tzuyu rebutted.
"Technically, you're with me right now so I'm not alone." Mina smirked.
"You got me." Tzuyu smirked as well.
"Mina. Myoui Mina. Third year." Mina smiled.
"Pleasure to meet you." Tzuyu uttered.

"Chaeng, where are you going now?" Jeongyeon asked.
"Oh, I'm just gonna meet my friends, we promised to meet each other after the ceremony." Chaeyoung smiled.
"We'll come along, right guys?" Jeongyeon pulled Jihyo and Nayeon.
"I'm gonna study, Jeong." Jihyo said.
"I'm free right now so whatever." Nayeon shrugged.
"Come on, Jih. It's the first day, I'm sure a little hang out won't hurt." Jeongyeon was trying to convince Jihyo.
"Fine, fine." Jihyo rolled her eyes, playfully.
The four of them went to the quad. Unexpectedly, Dahyun was with two students from hufflepuff and Tzuyu was also with a student from Ravenclaw.
"Dahyun, Tzuyu, these are Jeongyeon-unnie, Jihyo-unnie and Nayeon-unnie." Chaeyoung introduced.
"Mina-unnie." Tzuyu pointed out Mina.
"These are Sana-unnie and Momo-unnie." Dahyun happily introduced.
"Mitang?" Sana and Momo called Mina at the same time.
"Satang, Momoring." Mina called as well and went to them.
Now there are three groups. Mina, Sana and Momo are together. Jeongyeon, Jihyo and Nayeon were togather as well. The last group are Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu. Quite interesting group of students.
"Pleasure to meet you all." Jeongyeon smirked.
"You idiot, they're our classmates." Nayeon smacked Jeongyeon. Jeongyeon did not let it slide so she smacked Nayeon as well, which made the others chuckled.
"I'm sorry about them, they bicker a lot." Jihyo smiled apologetically.
"Jihyo, how are you?" Sana asked with a smile.
"Very well, I am supposed to be studying right now but that idiot Jeongyeon pulled me here." She pointed out Jeongyeon who's bickering with Nayeon.
"This is a huge group of friends, I suppose." Mina said and chuckled softly.
"Jih, that's your rival right? Myoui?" Jeongyeon said, now done bickering with Nayeon.
"Oohhh, Mitang's being competitive now, huh?" Momo teased Mina.
"Don't mind this nincompoop, Mina. I intend no competition." Jihyo smiled.
"Don't worry, Jihyo. I didn't think it that way." Mina smiled as well.
"It's getting late now, we should go." Jihyo reminded the others. "See you in class, Mina, Momo and Sana." The three nodded at her.
Dahyun went along with Sana and Momo while Tzuyu is with Mina.
"Chaeyoung, is it okay with you that we'll take Nayeon first to the Slytherin dorm before we go to the Gryffindor dorm?" Jihyo asked Chaeyoung.
"I see no problem with that, unnie." Chaeyoung smiled.
"Let's go Nabongs so that Chaeyoung can rest early." Jeongyeon put her arms around Nayeon as they walk to the Slytherin dorm.
"Are they always like that?" Chaeyoung whispered to Jihyo.
"Yeah, you'll get used to it." Jihyo smiled at Chaeyoung.
"Hurry up wee people." Jeongyeon teased them and laugh with Nayeon.
The two just shook their head and followed.
