Work Text:

Andy walked into the kitchen and started to look through the kitchen cabinets for something to eat.

Nile: "So, what happened in that cantina?"

Booker: "The usual: a lot of drinking and a bar fight."

Andy sat down and slams her feet up on the table with a bag of crisps.

Andy: "What are you talking about?"

Booker: "Tijuana 1882 and the bar fight."

Andy: "Oh that. It was a fun evening and night as usual."

Booker: "It was."

Joe walked into the kitchen with his arm around Nicky giggling and looked at the others around the table.

Joe: "Why are you all still up?"

Andy: "Could ask you the same."

Joe: "Snacks and something to drink."

Andy: "The same here, but then Booker was telling Nile about why you two were the reason for the bar fight in Tijuana back in1882."

Nile : "What does the bar fight have to do with Joe and Nicky?"

Nicky: "As I recall it the bar fight was Booker's fault."

Booker: "How was it my fault?"

Joe: "It was your search for a loo that caused the bar fight."

Nicky: "Joe is right. It was your own fault, Booker, because you interrupted a private moment between us which was much needed after months of sharing a tent with you."

Joe: "And when you left, you forgot to close the door after you. That was what started the bar fight."

Booker: "Trust me it wasn't intentional."

Nile: "So let me get this right: Joe and Nicky had found a place to be alone and Booker barged in on you."

Booker: "As I just stated: it wasn't intentional."

Joe: "As if. Everyone knows you're curious as hell, Booker."

Booker: "Am not!"

Nile: "Yes, you're, but how did that start the bar fight?"

Nicky: "A woman screamed two minutes later after Booker left."

Joe: "It turned out that the woman who screamed was the same who had tried to flirt with Nicky hours before but he had said no in his normal polite way."

Nicky: "And then the woman told about being rejected by Nicky and our private moment to her brother, who was the owner of the cantina."

Andy: "And not long after that the bar fight started."

Nile: "Did you win?"

Booker: "50 men against our 4. It wasn't our biggest bar fight."

Andy: "Or our smallest but it's nothing compared to how I met Joe and Nicky the very first time."
