Nicole was doing paperwork at her desk when all of a sudden, her phone dinged with a text message from her wife.
🌊 Hey, I’m having a bad day at work. Can you slow-dance with me later?
Now, if there was one thing Nicole Haught was not it was a dancer but for her wife, she was willing to try. She then grabbed her phone and sent her reply.
🔥 Of course babe even though you know I don’t dance but to make you feel better I will dance with you anytime. 🙂
The text bubbles appeared on her screen seconds after hitting send.
🌊 Thank you my love see you later 😘
Nicole arrived home before her wife so she could make sure this night was perfect.
She started by lighting 5 Vanilla-scented candles and placing them on the wraparound back porch.
Then, she cooked a romantic spaghetti dinner and put the strawberry wine on ice.
When Waverly entered the house, she could hear Lightning in a Bottle by Carly Pearce already playing on the record player. She followed the music and joined her wife on the back patio for wine.
After enjoying their delicious dinner, it was time for a much-needed dance.
“Thank you for this” Waverly whispered to Nicole as their feet gilded together on the smooth hardwood floor in the kitchen.
Nicole responded with a sweet kiss to her wife’s lips.
