Work Text:
The light sound of wind rustling the trees and the blurred out chirping of birds was peaceful as Kiana watched his daughter, Flora, play in the park.
He sighed as he turned his phone off. He got a text off the company he was collaborating with, well, his dad was, but he worked with his dad so technically he was collaborating with them. The text had mentioned so many things about working more hours to get all the products done, but he simply can't, he had a daughter and he's not going to leave her for longs periods of time. She's only 6!
Kiana groaned at the thought of it. He was never one for working with such high businesses, neither was Siegfried, so Kiana had no idea why he decided to work with a high business that was full of arrogant rich people. It's whatever, Kiana could deal it another time.
Small, light footsteps could be heard coming towards him. He smiled, he knew those footsteps. He looked at Flora who was laughing like a mad-girl. She was the spitting image of Kiana. Bright, white hair, with streaks of purple; ocean blue eyes with rings of purple in them. It reminded him of Flora's mother, sort of.
The small girl gave Kiana grabby hands, those ones that she used when she wanted him to pick her up, which he did so. He hooked his hands under her arms and picked her up. She squealed at the ticklish feeling of the wind blowing gently in her face as her dad picked her up. Kiana planted her next to him and he bent down to grab the bag off the floor.
Rummaging through the piles of snacks and drinks, he managed to grab her favourite brand of strawberry yogurt. He knew she would want something after playing for so long. It ran in the Kaslana genes to need energy to keep up the optimistic energy they all had.
"Here you go, Flo," Kiana said, struggling to open the top of the the yogurt. Despite being physically strong and working out, he was getting beat by a small and stupid lid.
Flora laughed at him. It was the same every time, no matter how many times she told him that he needed to pick off the plastic thing before opening it. She reached over to his hand, the difference in their size being known, and pulled his hand towards her.
"Papa, I've told you many times, you get rid of the plastic thingy," Flora huffed out, helping Kiana's fingers move on to the plastic she was talking about. Kiana felt embarrassed that he forgot once again.
"Sorry, sweetheart," he apologised, shamefully. He took off the plastic and the top, and handed it to her. Flora instantly drinking up the yoghurt. He let out an airy laugh at her actions. She was just like him when it came to food.
Kiana turned his head towards his phone, turning it on and seeing another message from the group. He rolled his eyes and just thought it would be a good idea to put his phone in his pocket just for now. Then, he wouldn't haven't to deal with all those annoying guys who just seem to have a sense of entitlement.
Flora looked up at him. She saw the tired expression on his face. She didn't understand many things considering she's only young, but she knew that her dad had some struggles ever since him and her mother broke off. Though, Flora knew not to blame them because people just fall out off love sometimes, that's what Kiana told her. She also knew that he had been stressed with work, but he all said it was for and only for her so that he could give her the best.
With a sound of a pop, she detached her mouth from the top. It caught Kiana's attention and he quickly took it off her and threw it in the bin besides them. He then turned his attention back to her and brushed her fringe out of eyes making her shake her head.
"Do want to do anything else, or maybe go somewhere?" Kiana asked, placing his arm around Flora and pulling her in. She rested against his side, playing with his hand, he hooked his finger around her's.
She hummed, thinking of an idea. Either, she could continue playing in the park, or she could spend more time with her dad and go on a walk with him, two things she wanted to do so badly. But- her dad was a higher priority.
"I want to walk home with you, papa!" Flora exclaimed with excitement. She loved having walks with him because he just felt safe and he would always pick her up whenever she felt tired. She had a trick of making him pick her up even if she wasn't tired.
Kiana hummed, giving her a soft smile. Just like how she loved having walks with him, he too, liked having walks with her. It gave him some sort of peace because he enjoyed seeing his daughter happy and he would do anything for her.
"Of course, darling," he said, zipping up the bag and flinging it around his shoulder. He stood up and extended his arms. "Do you want me to pick you up?"
Flora just shook her head. "No, papa, I'm a big girl, i can do it myself," she replied with pride, pushing herself off the bench successfully. She turned to him to give him a toothy smile.
Kiana let out a gasp of surprise and awe. "Wow, you're such a brave big girl. That was amazing, sweetheart!" His voice booming with praise and joy. He bent down to give her a kiss. She squealed and tried to lean back away from him.
He couldn't help but laugh at her reaction. She acted like she hated the kisses, but he knew that she loved them. He wasn't making things up at all! Reaching his hand for Flora to take, which she gladly did, her small hand being engulfed by his big one.
"Let's get going, shall we?" Kiana asked, well, more like stated and asked at the same time. Flora didn't respond, but just let out a sound of joy before pulling him forwards and pulling him on their walk.
They took a different path from the one they usually walked down, mostly because Flora wanted to look at the birds and squirrels she saw. The path led down to a tree covered, bumpy one full of gravel, but it felt unusually calmer than it seemed. Kiana enjoyed the sounds of the birds chirping and the leaves rustling. He would have to take this path more often.
Flora's attention moved to a ginger and white cat that was wandering around, seemingly travelling somewhere. It was cute and she loved cute things, so she removed her hand away from Kiana's and followed the cat. It took Kiana by surprise at how quickly she took off. He forgot how fast his daughter was.
The cat wasn't afraid of Flora, in fact, it enjoyed her following them and continued to lead her somewhere, Kiana following closely behind to make sure that nothing bad would happen. The cat lead them to the end of the path, where the park turned into rows of houses and fields. It then quickly turned into an opening that led to a big garden. Flora tried to follow it, but was pulled back by Kiana.
"Flo, we can't follow the cat anymore. This is someone's garden and we will be invading their property," he said, softly, guilt building up when he saw her face drop.
Flora gave him a sad look and nodded. She wanted to follow the cat so badly, but she couldn't because as her dad said, she would be invading someone's property. Although, something did catch her eye. It was a woman who was sat on a swing looking peaceful. She was pretty, divine even.
"Papa, look at the pretty lady over there!" Flora said a little too loud.
Kiana looked over to where his daughter was pointing. There, in a wave of multicoloured flowers, a woman whose bright pink hair rested softly on her shoulder, it covering her eyes so only he could see her sweet smile.
A light flush covered his cheeks.
"Beautiful," he breathed out quietly. Flora giggled at his reaction.
The woman must have heard them because she turned her head towards the two, her smile never faltering. Her and Kiana's eyes connected in an awkward but comfortable contact. She was so much more beautiful that he thought. Her light blue eyes stared at him with interest and surprise. He could feel himself getting warmer. Though, when he thought about it harder, she looked familiar.
She waved at them. Flora instantly waving back because that's the type of person she was. She liked the woman, she was pretty and cool. Kiana hesitated before waving back at her, her smile ever so brighter.
All good things have to come to an end and while Kiana didn't want to go because he was intrigued by the woman, he couldn't just keep standing here looking at her, it made him look and feel like a creep. Flora was obviously very interested as she kept itching closer towards the garden, but never going in it.
Kiana grabbed her hand and started to pull her away. "Come on, Flo. We can't stand here and stare at her, we need to get home," he whispered, his voice filled with disappointment.
Flora gave him another sad look. She turned to wave towards the woman once again, she smiled when the woman waved back. She then turned towards where they were meant to go and started walking, once again, pulling Kiana along.
The woman's light blue eyes met his for a few seconds before the contact was cut off by the trees. Kiana didn't know what was about the woman, but she felt intriguing. He wanted to get to know her, which was weird in his mind considering he's just stared at her in her own home, but he just wanted to. He couldn't pinpoint why, just that she felt comforting. He was sure he must've known her because her gaze felt so familiar, but even if he did, he couldn't remember, giving him more want of wanting to get to know her.
It had been a few days since that incident, and Kiana couldn't get the image of the woman's smile and blue eyes that pierced him with interest, out his mind. He didn't know what was wrong with him.
"I don't know, Bron. What am i meant to do? I can't just leave Flora for weeks on end to this stupid thing." Kiana let out a groan of frustration. Why would the company ask him to leave Flora for a few weeks to go on some work trip that he didn't even want to do?
"The Bronya knows. It's not the ideal of things. Bronya will say to don't do it if you don't want to. It's not good for a parent to leave their child."
Kiana clicked his tongue. It would be a great opportunity for some more experience and for some money, but he just can't. He can't leave Flora all on her own even if she will be staying at her auntie's. It's just not right and he knew that she wouldn't like it.
"I probably won't do it. Thanks, Bron."
A quick "bye" could be heard from the phone as the call ended. Kiana smiled because he'd probably just interrupted Bronya while they were either playing a game, or working on the game they were making. He put his phone on silent and placed it in his pocket because he's not dealing with the rest of the other people.
Flora came running towards him. "Papa, can we go now?" She asked with excitement flowing through her whole body. "Can we go down the path we went a few days ago? I wanna see the pretty lady again." She grabbed his hand and tried to pull him off the bench. She was intrigued by the woman just as much as he was.
It was quite surprising to Kiana that she didn't want to rest first after having just played for an hour, but then again, she was just like him when it came to stuff they wanted to see badly. He decided to not keep her waiting for so long, and so he stood up and flung the bad over his shoulder, taking her hand in his.
"Let's go!" Flora shouted out, quickly pulling Kiana along. She was even more eager to see the woman than him. He laughed, making her huff and pull him even more.
It only took them a few minutes to get to where they wanted to be thanks to Flora. Kiana couldn't help but feel slightly nervous for some reason. He didn't know whether it was because it was going to be weird, or seem weird that they decided to come back here after two days, or because he was going to get to see her again and see her beautiful self. The one he couldn't get out his mind.
Flora stopped at the gap between the path and the garden. Her vision was filled with the woman and the bright flowers, but this time instead of being on the swing, she was watering the plants around her. Flora looked at her in awe, she was so cool.
Kiana couldn't keep his eyes off the woman as she worked. Her moves were like water, smooth and light. She danced around as she watered the plants, showing how passionate she was towards them, something Kiana liked in people. Though, his staring didn't last because she turned towards the both of them, probably because she could feel them staring.
She giggled. Kiana felt like the world had stopped as he heard her. It was so light, so soft, so everything. It was like music to his ears and he's not lying. He wanted to hear it again, over and over. Her eyes met his. He felt his heart pump in his chest at a fast pace.
The woman placed her watering can down and walked towards them. Kiana was ready to say goodbye and that he was sorry for intruding with his daughter because it was weird for him and Flora to just be looking at this woman because they found her interesting. However, she beat him to it.
"Hi, nice to see you two again!" Her voice was light and airy, something that Kiana didn't expect but wasn't disappointed with. He swore he heard that same voice from somewhere.
He was going to say something, but Flora took the chance before he did. "Hii, nice to meet you! My name is Flora, what is yours?" Her voice was filled with glee. She couldn't contain the joy she had in her body as she jumped up and down.
The woman bent down and gave Flora a sweet smile. "Ahh, that's a beautiful name you have, Flora. It means flower which i think suits you very well. My name is Elysia," she said, bending back up to meet Kiana's eyes once again. "And what is your name, handsome?"
Kiana blushed a bright red. Luckily, it was covered by the shade of the trees. Elysia was much more gorgeous up close, even more beautiful than before. He didn't know what to do. He could give her a pick up joke and try to flirt with her, but that would leave a bad impression and he doesn't want to make her uncomfortable.
"Uhm.. my name is Kiana." He kicked himself in the head for hesitating, but how could he not when he's standing in front of a gorgeous woman?
Elysia smiled at him. "Kiana... Kiana, that's a beautiful name," she said, complimenting him. Kiana flushed even more and scratched the back of his neck. The sight made Elysia's smile turn into a slight smirk.
Kiana had been in her mind ever since she saw him a few days ago. She couldn't explain why, but he had caught her interest. He looked muscular and had a handsome face with beautiful blue eyes. Probably in his early 30s or late 20s, which were both fine considering she was 28 herself. So, at least she would have some stuff in common to talk to him about. Though, she must've met him before because he looks similar to a man she met a few years ago through her friend and that same man had he same name.
"Do you want to come in? I have some tea ready and i would like to get to know you better, Kiana." She asked, moving slightly to the side . His name rolled of her tongue like she had known him all her life. It made his chest feel light.
Kiana shook his head and was about to say no, but Flora turned to him with an open smile. "Please, papa. Let's stay! It will be so much fun!" She said, giving him puppy eyes and how was he meant to say no? Letting out a sigh, he nodded and Flora jumped with excitement before running into the garden, making sure to be careful she didn't damage anything.
Elysia held out her hand out for him to take, which he was hesitant at first to hold, but in the end he took her hand into his. Her hand was smooth and soft, also a lot smaller than his, compared to his rough hand, it felt nice. She dragged Kiana into the garden, not before hooking his fingers with her's. He got hit with the scent of flowers and the scent of vanilla. It made his body relax.
He made sure to be careful with every step he took because he didn't want to destroy any of these wonderful flowers. There were some red roses, morning glorys, lavender, pink peonies, pink carnations and hydrangeas. All very much fitted the vibe of Elysia, and they were very pretty just like her.
While Flora was playing with the ginger cat they saw the other day, Elysia let Kiana sit down on the swing before pouring both him and herself a cup of fresh tea. She passed him the cup. He quickly said a "thanks" before taking a sip, tasting vanilla in it. So, that's were the vanilla smell was coming from.
"So, Kiana," Elysia started off, taking a quick swig of the tea. "Tell me more about yourself." From what she has seen so far, he was an interesting guy and was very sweet. She wanted to know more and no, she wasn't going to move quickly with this because she'd rather take things slow.
"What do you want to know?" Kiana asked in reply. He probably knew what she wanted him to say, but he was going to be annoying and get her to say it.
"Tell me anything."
"Anything?" He asked, shock and surprise filling his voice.
"Anything." Elysia replied, staring into his eyes but breaking down in laughter, bringing Kiana to laugh too.
They didn't know how long they have been talking for, but it was long enough for Flora to end up falling asleep on Kiana's lap. Their chat was nice, it gave them a sort of peace and it felt like they had known each other all their lives. Well, they had known each other before, but just their names through Mei, not anything else.
Elysia learnt the basic stuff like how Kiana had two siblings, Sirin and Bianka, how he worked for an engineering company with his dad, stuff like that. But, she also learnt some stuff that he probably hasn't told many people in his life. How he used to work for this military organisation that wasn't exactly military, leaving him with the now scars that covered his body. Elysia thought they were cool because it shows how much he's endured and how he still is here. She also found out he was trans, which was something that she didn't expect, but she wasn't bothered by it, she was quite happy that Kiana had the confidence and felt comfortable saying that to her. Kiana didn't know why he did, maybe it was because she felt safe and comforting.
Kiana learnt many things about Elysia too. She was close in age with him, which he was thankful of. She was living in this house with her friend, Mobius. She was working at a flower shop for the time being as she gets ready to do some model applications, which Kiana thought was really cool and he bet she would do a cracking job at being a model. She even tried to get him to apply for a modeling job because she thought he would suit it, but it wasn't for him.
"No way! So, your mum actually kicked your dad out for a week because of that?" Elysia couldn't contain her shock after hearing what Kiana had told her.
"Yeah, he deserved it. I don't know how my mum didn't roundhouse kick him in the face, but that will be a mystery forever," Kiana said, laughing at the memory of when his mum kicked his dad out for burning her expensive glass cups over the stove because he was being stupid.
Flora fidgeted in his lap, shivering due to the cold air that breezed past. Kiana placed his hand on her arm to give her comfort. As much as he wanted to stay and talk to Elysia more, he had to get his baby home safely and soundly. Maybe next time he can stay for longer. It was a shame that Flora didn't get to eat the cake that Elysia had made.
"As much as i would love to stay, I've got to get this little one home," Kiana said, softly with a hint of disappointment. Elysia understood because Flora was only young and it was around 6pm, so it's best they went their separate ways.
"It's alright, we can speak another time." Elysia brushed it off with a smile. She extended her hand out, "give me your phone, I'll put my phone number in." Kiana felt his heart race and he quickly pulled out his phone from his pocket, the sweet laughter from Elysia was worth his embarrassment.
With a few types, Elysia passed Kiana his phone back and stood up to collect the glasses. Kiana following her actions by standing up, picking Flora up gently and laying her on his chest. He let out a sigh of relief as she pressed into him and that he didn't wake her up.
"I guess you will be leaving now," Elysia whispered, carefully not to wake Flora up. Kiana nodded to her. "Alright, i will see you soon." She gave him a smile before walking off into her house. He stared at her as she did so. He didn't know why, he was must mesmerised by her.
He took off once he saw she had entered her house. He enjoyed the fresh air as he walked and the feeling of holding his daughter in his arms. It was comforting. A big smile was on his face. He just felt so warm. What has that woman done to him. He's only known her for a few hours, but she felt right, he felt like he needed her in his life. Maybe hopefully she can because Kiana was sure that he would love that and Flora would love that.
It had been a few weeks since then. Kiana and Elysia exchanged texts and sometimes phone calls every day. It could have been about their day, what they like, old memories, but they always seemed to talk long way into the night. Sometimes even in the early mornings which was not ideal considering they both work quite early. They both enjoyed it, though. It brought them joy to talk to each other.
Kiana was sat inside a café waiting for Elysia. After they had been chatting with each other for a few weeks, they had been talking and getting semi close with each other, she had asked him on a date. It wasn't necessarily romantic, but he wouldn't say it was entirely platonic either. It had some hints of romance because even if they had known each other for a few days, there were some feelings there.
The ring of the door bell caught Kiana's attention off his phone. There, Elysia stood, her pink hair tied up in a well made bun, she wore a light purple dress with a light link jacket. Oh, she looked divine. A beauty so beautiful that Kiana's mouth was agape and he looked at her with such.. no words could describe.
Elysia brought her hand up to her mouth to hide the giggle she let out. Kiana's face was so cute. She walked over to where he was sat and sat down opposite him, smiling at him with every move she did. He reciprocated the smile with his very own.
"Long time no see," Kiana joked, acting like he didn't just see her last week. Elysia rolled her eyes.
"I only saw you last week, Kiana. You miss seeing me that much already?" She teased, leaning over and intertwining her hand with his.
A pink flush appeared on his face as he choked at what she did. She smirked and let out a teasing laugh. She loved his reactions so much. Though, even if she teased him, she too, also missed him. She stroked the rough skin where a burn scar was, enjoying the feeling of the bumpy skin.
Kiana took a few seconds to compose himself. "Of course i would miss you. Who wouldn't miss a gorgeous woman?" Kiana said in a flirtatious tone, smirking as the lightest blush appeared on Elysia's face. A point for him.
"Oh, you flatter me. Of course, no one would miss this beauty," Elysia had a smug look on her face and she brushed her finger over his hand once again. Kiana giggled at her response. He liked how she was like that. It made her more enjoyable.
There was a silence between them for a few seconds. Blue eyes meeting blue eyes. A smile meeting an even bigger smile. There was comfortable tension between them, some may even say there's romantic tension between them as they looked at each other with interest and want in a way. Kiana turned away, embarrassed. A point for Elysia.
He coughed. "So, why did you want to have a date with me? I mean, there's surely better people out there that you know who would be better than me." Kiana didn't mean to doubt her as to why she would choose him. He just didn't have a lot of confidence because he hasn't been in a relationship or hasn't gone this far with someone for four years.
Elysia hummed, thinking of an answer. It was simple, really. She liked him, a lot. He was sweet, caring, funny, can be smart when he wants to, he always thinks about other and takes care of them. He was everything all in one. Everything that she looked for. She didn't know why he would doubt himself because even if he hasn't been like this with someone in a long time, he's doing a darn good job.
"It's because you're the only person out of everyone i know who brings me a lot of joy. I know this sounds stupid, but you're not like any other people i know. You're kind, caring, a great person to talk to, a great dad, a great person overall. I like you for that." She smiled, sweetly at him. It took him by surprise because no one had told him that in long time.
She wanted to let him know that he was special, especially to her. He's one of a kind, in a good way and she was glad to have met him, even if what he did was a little strange to say the least.
Elysia brought his hand up to her lips and she planted a soft kiss between his ring finger and middle finger. Kiana blushed even more and hid his face in his shoulder. "Stop doubting yourself, you're amazing, and please let me see that handsome face of yours," she teased, placing another kiss on his knuckle before putting his hand back down.
Kiana was debating in his head whether he should or not, but in the end, he just decided to do it. He turned his head out of his shoulder and looked at Elysia with shyness. She was taken aback at how gorgeous and handsome he looked. Sure, she thought he was always that, but for some reason, he looked so much more here.
"There we go," she said in a whisper. She moved her hand and cupped his cheek. Kiana leaned into her soft touch. "Are you sure you don't want to be a model? You have a gorgeous face and i bet you have a killer body even if i haven't seen it."
A smirk appeared on his face. "Well, maybe one day you'll get to see," he teased, winking at her.
"Oou, getting bold are we?" She smirked. Kiana nodded at her and leaned more into her touch. She was the one who said it first, so of course he would say something like that. He wished that could happen one day- nevermind that.
They stayed like this for a few moments. Kiana finding peace within Elysia's hold and Elysia finding peace with looking at him and caressing the soft skin on his cheek. She didn't know what was up with her, but she felt warm whenever she talked with him and she felt like she wanted to hug and squeeze him every time she saw him. She knew she liked him in some way, but she was going to take it slow.
She sighed, softly, pulling her hand away from Kiana's face. He groaned at the loss contact. She stood up and held out her hand for him to take, making him slightly confused, but he took it anyway and stood up with her. "Come on, I've got something special planned." Elysia couldn't contain her excitement because she quickly pulled Kiana out the café.
He had no idea what she had planned, but he would do anything she wanted to do.
Firstly, Elysia brought Kiana to a small market. It wasn't part of the date, but she remembered it and wanted to check it out, so you can class it as being part of the date. They went to numerous stalls because she wanted to check out almost all of them. She managed to pick out matching bracelets for her and Kiana, though he was slightly resentful of not having it because he didn't want her wasting her money on him, but in the end, he took it. He found himself stupid trying to not take it. They also got a little something for Flora because they can't leave her out.
Then, Elysia took him to an outdoor movie cinema thing. Well, more like he took her but she gave him the location for it. She chose a romantic film and Kiana wasn't the biggest fan of romantic films because most of them are cringy and corny, but he was going to watch it just to make her happy.
They were in the back of Kiana's car. He turned his car in a way where they could see it, but also be comfortable where they sat. It was half way between the movie when the couple of screen started to be all lovey-dovey. It made Kiana sick as he watched it.
Elysia looked at him, not caring for the movie at all. She didn't know why, but she wanted to kiss him so badly. She knows it's wrong because she can't kiss someone who may not even like her in that way, but she held onto this hope that he did.
Kiana turned to her. His eyes locked onto her's. She was full of want as what he could see. It made him feel nervous, but also have some thrill. He wasn't going to lie, he's been having some feelings lately. Ones that he couldn't really describe, just that he wanted to be with Elysia.
He leaned closer to her, not exactly knowing what to do, but it felt right. Elysia followed his steps, shuffling closer to him to the point where their knees met. She looked up to his eyes and looked down at his lips. She wanted to kiss him so badly.
Their faces edged closer to one another. Their noses bumping and their lips almost touching. Kiana placed his hands onto her waist and Elysia placed a hand on his cheek. There were no words said and their lips connected into a soft slow kiss. They didn't want it to be rough and fast, and they liked the pace they were going at. The kiss was full of want and love, even if they've only known each other for a few weeks, they can't help but like each other.
The kiss was slow for a while, until Elysia pushes further and the kiss turned more heated. Their tongues danced along each other and Kiana pushed both of them down. Him being on top of Elysia. They pulled away after a few minutes to collect some air. It was getting so hot in here and they needed each other so badly. But just as Kiana was going to kiss her again, his phone rang.
He quickly shot up and grabbed his phone out his pocket. Seeing the name "Bronya" on the call made him know it was about Flora. He picked it up before it went to voice mail.
"Hh..Hey, Bronya. What's up?" Kiana asked out of breath.
"Are you ok?" Bronya asked, slightly concerned.
"I'm good, don't worry. What's up? Did something happen?" The worst ran through his head and Elysia must have known that because she placed her hand on his shoulder and squeezed him to give some comfort.
"The Bronya wants to know what time Kiana is picking up Flora. She has been missing you and wants you to take her home."
Kiana looked at the time and almost jumped out his seat. He was way past the time he was supposed to pick up Flora, no wonder she was so upset. God, he got so carried away with the date and it isn't Elysia's fault at all because she had no idea. He was so stupid.
"I'll be over in a few, see ya." He quickly said, putting the phone down. He slammed his head against the head protection of the seat and groaned with frustration. How could he be so stupid to forget?
He turned to Elysia to apologise, but she just placed her finger on his lips to shush him up. "It's ok. Take me home and pick up Flora. You didn't ruin anything and i quite enjoyed it." She smiled through slight disappointment.
"Are you sure?" Kiana asked, uncertain because he could see the disappointment in her eyes. Elysia just nodded and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before getting out the car to sit in the front seat. Kiana kicked himself in his mind. He would need to make it up to her.
Mei was sat at the bench on her phone looking at the next modeling castings. It had been a week since Kiana had to go away for work and Mei thought it would be a great idea to come back to her daughter's home town. She finally had some time off work and was happily going to spend it with Flora.
She knew a little bit about the relationship between Kiana and Elysia, and even if she wasn't as close to Kiana as she used to be, she was still his friend and had the right to know. She knew that he hadn't had the time to make things up with the woman, hence why he keeps texting her every now and then to make sure things are alright.
"Mama," Flora said, pulling on Mei's skirt. Mei took her attention off her phone and focused on her.
"What's up, darling?" Mei asked, picking Flora up from the ground and onto her lap. The young girl look up to her mum and Mei could just see the resemble of Kiana in her.
"Can we go now? I want to go to the garden and see Ellie!" She beamed with a smile, making Mei smile too. Flora had a hard time pronouncing Elysia's name properly, so Elysia came up with the idea of the nickname "Ellie".
Mei put Flora back down because she knew her daughter hated when people picked her up sometimes, especially if it wasn't Mei or Kiana. She held the backpack in her and and held Flora's hand within her's. She knew to hold on tight because from what sue heard from Kiana, Flora somehow had some ungodly strength and could easily pull someone down. It was probably the Kaslana genes.
"Alright, lead the way, sweetheart." Mei said, gently. Flora beaming a smile at her before pulling her along. Kiana was right, she had some ungodly strength.
Mei was grateful that Flora knew where she was going because Mei had no idea where this path was taking them. No, it didn't look sketchy, it was just very unpathed and she thought it was somewhat unsafe for a child like Flora to go along this path.
"Just up here, mama!" Flora exclaimed, picking up her pace because she was excited to see Elysia. Mei just hummed and followed her, and in the matter of a few seconds, they were here.
It was quite beautiful. More than what Mei expected. Not only was it sort of nice having the trees block off most of the light and only allowing certain spots of light, but it seemed almost magical because it was mostly just green everywhere. Flora had let go of Mei's hand and ran into the garden.
There, she saw Elysia reading a book with her cat on her lap. "Elysia!" Flora shouted out, catching Elysia's attention. Elysia put her book down instantly and sat up, not before moving ginger out the way.
She walked over to the young girl and picked her up into a hug. Flora squealed as she was lifted up into a warm embrace. "Hi, Flo. What brings you here?" Elysia asked, knowing that it was now a common thing for the young girl to come see her, mostly with Kiana, but he was away for work.
"I wanted to come see you! I missed you," Flora said with a pout, putting her head on Elysia's shoulder. Elysia felt her heart swell. She missed her too, she also missed Kiana, but things have been a bit awkward ever since that incident and she doesn't know what to do.
Mei stared at her daughter having an intimate moment with her friend that she hadn't seen in so long. She was sort of glad that Kiana had his eye on Elysia because if it was anyone else, she would probably be weirded out by this moment. Though, she did feel a slight pang to the chest because for one, she hasn't spoken to Elysia in a few years, and two, it reminded her of the times when she was with Kiana.
Don't get her wrong, she doesn't love Kiana like that anymore and she loves her partner, Eden, very much, but there were times when she was reminded of her time with Kiana and it made her miss those moments. It was neither of their fault that they fell in love with other people. They swore that even though they don't love each other, they would still be friends and try be the best parents to Flora even if they weren't together.
Elysia knew Mei was there, but she didn't say anything because she wanted to distract Flora before she talked to the other woman. "Hey, Flo. Go play with gingy while i talk with your mama, ok?" She stated more than asked. Flora nodded her head and ran off to go play with gingy.
With a sigh, Elysia walked towards Mei. Mei started to feel nervous, though she didn't show it. "So, you decide to show your face after years," Elysia spoke coldly, well, she tried to. She wasn't angry at her friend, she never could be.
Mei hung her head low in shame. It was wrong for her to leave Elysia for a long time, but it technically wasn't her fault, it was her old company's fault because they wouldn't allow her to have a life outside of modeling. Though, that wasn't a good excuse.
"I'm sorry, Elysia. It was not right for me to do that," Mei spoke in a serious tone that made Elysia burst out laughing. The taller woman was confused as to why she was laughing. This was no laughing matter.
"Oh, Mei, there's no need to be so serious. Come on in and have some tea with me and we can catch up on all the stuff we have missed." She wiped a few tears away, walking towards the swing.
Mei was left there shocked because somehow she had just been tricked into thinking her friend was mad at her even though she wasn't. It made her feel embarrassed because after all the years she's known Elysia, somehow she forgot that the woman is hardly ever serious in those matters. It's whatever, at least she isn't mad at her.
With a sigh of relief, Mei made her way over to the swing and sat down. Elysia passed her a cup of fresh lavender tea. Mei thanked her before taking a sip, taking in the scenery around her. The garden was full of more flowers than last time. It was nice, she liked it.
"Now," Elysia started off, taking a sip of her tea. "Tell me about all that happened over these few years." She was interested to know, even though she literally followed Mei on instagram and knew what she was doing.
Mei hummed. She was delighted to tell Elysia all that happened because so much had happened, but she wasn't going to yet. She needed to get some more information about what happened last week between Kiana and her so that she could finally solve everything and get Kiana to stop worrying.
"Before i say what I'm going to say, can you tell me what happened last week between you and Kiana and why Kiana has been so all over the place lately?"
Elysia sighed, but a smile formed on her face. The memory of last week stuck with her because it was one of those good moments, but it was still slightly disappointing they couldn't go further, and she was a little annoyed that Kiana hasn't talked to her about it yet.
"Well, for starters, we went on a date to this open cinema theatre thing, i have no idea what it actually is, and we were watching a romance film and things started to get a little romantical, and we kissed. Then it turned into something more heated and then stopped." Elysia tried her best to hide her disappointment.
"He hasn't talked to me about it yet, but he did apologise to me and said he would make it up to me," she finished off with a sigh, taking a sip from her drink.
Ah, now Mei had the full story. It was simple really. All Kiana had to do was apologise and do something to make up for it, but she knew he found that hard to do because he always worried whether or not she would be happy. Elysia would be happy with whatever Kiana did.
"Thank god it wasn't anything too serious," Mei said with a sigh of relief. Her response made Elysia confused as shown on her face. "Ah, Kiana has even worrying over the incident ever since and he feels really bad, since he keeps texting me twenty four seven. He wants to talk to you about it and do something to make up for it."
Elysia was surprised for a second, but quickly came to smile. She was happy that Kiana wanted to make it up to her, but she didn't want him to worry because she will never be mad at him for it. He was being quite silly if you think about it.
"Tell him not to worry," she spoke with a gentle tone, flicking her hand as a gesture to brush it off. "Well, I should do that, really, but just tell him that to make up for it, he just needs to come talk to me. Oou, also with a bottle of wine and chocolates."
Mei let out a soft laugh. Oh, Elysia hadn't changed one bit. Always the same humble, sweet woman she's known. It felt nice to talk to her again. Mei kicked herself mentally for not being able to stay in contact with Elysia because there really were so many things they could talk about.
With a small, but bittersweet smile as she remembered all the times she had lost, Mei spoke up. "I will tell him to get you something nice. I know you will like that." She took another sip of tea before carrying on. "Anyway, how about we catch up on all the things we have missed, hmm?"
Elysia gave her an acknowledged nod, taking a sip of her tea. "I would love that."
It felt freeing talking to each other again. There were some regrets of not being able to stay in contact, but those quickly went away as they told every bit of what had happened over the past years that were lost. There were laughs and cries as they talked, some of the memories being sad and some being happy.
Mei stood up and picked up Flora in her arms. "As much as i would love to stay and chat with you longer, i have to go," she said, disappointment filling her voice. Even if it was early, she needed to get back to do some stuff.
"Alrighty, it's fine, Mei. Get yourself home safe." Elysia smiled and grabbed the cups before putting them on a tray. Though, there was something stuck in her mind.
Ever since she reconnected with Kiana and getting to know him, it must be strange for her to like him or to have some sort of romantic relationship with him considering he's Mei's ex. She wondered how Mei would feel, and yes she knew that they were friends, but she couldn't help but think that Mei would be uncomfortable with it.
She took a deep breath in. "Mei.." She started off with, catching the attention of the other woman. "You wouldn't be weirded out if me and Kiana end up having a romantic relationship or have romantic feelings for each other, would you?" Her voice going to a whisper as if she was afraid, which was very unusual.
Mei stared at her with a emotionless expression before bursting out laughing. She wasn't making fun of her friend, no she wasn't, it just tickled her that Elysia would be worried over her being weirded out. Her and Kiana came to a conclusion when they were splitting, they would still be friends and they weren't going to be weirded out if they dated their friends. They still loved each other, but not in a romantical way and after being together for so long, they genuinely didn't care about what they did.
Mei's laughter had woken Flora up from her nap and Mei quickly shushed her back to sleep, making note to be more quieter next time. "Oh, Elysia, i would never be weirded out by that. I'm actually happy that you both found love within each other. It will stop Kiana complaining to me about how single she is." She let out a quite laugh.
Elysia felt relieved when Mei said that. At least, things weren't going to be awkward because she did like Kiana a lot, but she also loved having Mei as a friend. It's all sorted now and all she's excited for, is for Kiana to come back.
"I'll see you soon then, Mei," she said with a smile before walking off into her house. Mei gave her a smile and waved back at her before she too, made her way back home.
She pulled her phone out her pocket, which was more harder than it looked because she had Flora in her arms, but she was still able to do it successfully. She needed to text Kiana and tell him how stupid he was for worrying over nothing, and how Elysia just wanted him to talk to her. He stilled lived up to that silly, stupid side of him.
Mei
Hey, you idiot.
Kiana
Heyy, what was that for??
Mei smiled at his response.
Mei
I've talked to Elysia. All she wants is for you to talk to her about the incident and get her some wine and chocolates.
Kiana
Thanks! You're such a gem.
Mei
Anytime. See you later.
Mei placed her phone back into her pocket and continued on walking. All the things she needed to do were done, and she was happy that Kiana managed to find love again, even if he was not the best at dealing with things.
"Are you sure she will think this is nice?" Kiana nervously asked. He was just right outside of Elysia's home with a bottle of wine and chocolates, with Flora playing with a toy in the back.
"Yes, I'm sure that Elysia would love it." Mei's voice echoed through the phone.
"If that's what you say," Kiana huffed out, still unsure. He hung up and putting his head against the steering wheel. He was so nervous for no reason. It's like what if Elysia doesn't like what he's got, or if she is actually mad at him.
He took a few minutes to compose himself, and with a big sigh, he got out the car with the bottle of expensive wine and chocolates. The house from the front looked very different from the back. The front was all clean with a big patch of grass, a pathed area where table and chairs where, and it just looked a lot more modern than the back.
Adrenaline rushed through Kiana's body as he hesitated to knock on the door. Yes, he gotten clarification from Mei that Elysia was not mad at him, however, he couldn't shake the feeling of being scared on how she would react when he would talk to her. Oh, scew it' he thought as he knocked on the door.
No one answered for a few seconds, almost a minute, and Kiana thought he must've gotten the wrong time even though the lights were on. But, thankfully, someone opened the door. However, the person was not Elysia, but they were tall, had green hair and looked like they haven't slept in years. It must be Elysia's friend, Mobius.
Mobius groaned. "What do you want?" Their tone was harsh, taking Kiana aback because he literally only just knocked on the door.
"Uhh, is Elysia in? I wanted to talk to her," he asked, carefully, making sure he didn't irritate the already annoyed person in front of him. Their glare was quite scary.
Mobius's face relaxed as she knew who he was. Not actually, Elysia told them who he was. "Oh, yeah, you're her boyfriend," they said with a smirk, taking Kiana off guard and making him blush. "Elysia! You're boyfriend is here." Kiana tried to deny it but they didn't take none of it.
Quick footsteps could be heard as Elysia ran from upstairs to the door, giving Kiana a smile and pushing Mobius out the way. She was breathing heavily, but she managed to compose herself. She didn't expect for him to show up at her house, even though she did tell him her address and all that. Kiana was stumped, he didn't know what to say.
He passed her the bottle of wine and box of chocolates. Elysia let out a surprised gasp as she took them. She looked at him and gave him a smile, making him turn away with a shy look.
"I wanted to give you these as a sorry for what happened. I'm sorry i ignored you because of it, i just thought you would be mad and-" He was cut off by her finger on his lips. She giggled.
"You not need to worry about that. It was something that happened and that's all. I would never be mad at you, so please don't think that," Elysia said, softly, though her tone was slightly more serious than usual.
She pulled Kiana in for a hug, which he gladly wrapped his arms around her and held her close. She rested her head on his chest. "Thank you," she whispered. Kiana just held her tighter.
They stayed like that for a mere few seconds before Elysia pulled away with a smirk. "Do you want to come in and enjoy this with me?" Her voice was so inviting, but he couldn't because he had Flora in his car and he needed to get home.
"Sorry, i can't. I have to get Flora home," he said, turning around to point at the young girl who had now fallen asleep. "Unless, you want to come to mine instead.." He turned back to give her a look.
"Sure, I'll be ready in a few." Elysia quickly took off to get ready, leaving Kiana there shocked at how quickly she accepted his suggestion. Now that he was thinking of it, he didn't know why he said that.
And sure enough, she was finished in a few minutes. She quickly said goodbye to Mobius, who was sitting at the couch dozing off. She got in Kiana's car with a bag of spare clothes and the bottle of wine and chocolates that he got her.
"You ready?" Kiana asked, pulling up the handbrake to get the car slowly moving.
"Yep," Elysia responded quickly, making sure her seat belt was on properly.
"Alrighty then" Kiana pressed on the gas and started ti drive to his house. He wasn't going to lie, he was excited to have Elysia over.
Kiana let out a relieved sigh as he sat down on the couch. He had just put Flora to bed and got himself ready. Elysia let out a giggle before coming closer to him and hugging him, placing her head on his shoulder and a hand on his chest. He wrapped his arm around her and kissed her on the head.
A half bottle of wine was on the table in front of them with a half eaten box of chocolates. They didn't want to waste any time and it's why the wine and chocolates were already gone. Though, it might have been a tad bit of a mistake because everything was getting a bit too hot.
Elysia made patterns on Kiana's chest before dragging her finger down his sternum and to his soft belly that had the show of some abs popping out. She caressed in between the lines of his abs, making him let out a low groan. It did things to her and she just wanted to pounce on him right now.
Kiana looked at her, his eyes full of want and hunger. He grabbed her face before pulling her in for a hot kiss. She smirked and deepened the kiss with her tongue. It lapping over his, making him moan. With her hands, she pushed him down and straddle on his hips, moaning when Kiana groaned the side of her waist.
They pulled away in hot breath and saliva connecting their lips. It was too hot. Way too hot. Elysia took off her tshirt as she was getting sweaty. Her boobs where there all for Kiana to see. It stunned him and he felt a weird feeling in his stomach. He closed his legs. One of his hands came up to groap her boob making her whine out loud.
Kiana moved down slightly to hook his mouth onto Elysia's nipple, this time making her moan much more louder. She grinded down on his hips trying so hard to gain some pleasure to with no avail. Kiana sucked more harder on her sensitive nipple. Her whines and moaned were music to his ears.
He unhooked his mouth from her boob to give it some rest. Elysia's breathing was uneven and she couldn't handle it anymore. "Kiana.." She breathed out. "I need you... i need you now, so badly." She whimpered when he bit down her neck.
"Don't worry, i will take you there," he groaned into her neck before lowering himself down her, not forgetting to kiss lightly down her stomach. He was going to do anything she wanted him to, he needed to make her feel good.
The noise of the morning birds chirping and the bright light that the sun shone through the room was enough to wake Elysia up. She groaned as she felt some pain in her lower back and on her shoulder, but the strong arm around her waist provided her with comfort. Her moving must have woken Kiana up because he loosened his hold around her and yawned.
"Morning, sleepyhead," Elysia said, giggling. She leaned more into Kiana who now flashed her a small smile.
"Morning." His morning voice was a lot deeper than his usual voice. He sounded sexy. Don't judge Elysia for it, she can't help it when it comes to him.
Kiana sighed, not in a bad way, just that type of sigh that you make when you wake up. Though, there was something on his mind. He stared at Elysia and glanced over ever bit of detail on his face. Ever since they started talking, ever since their first kiss, ever since yesterday, he had been thinking about what they were. Like yes, he did like Elysia a lot, and by a lot he did mean very much. You could even say he loved her.
Elysia placed her hand on his cheeked and caressed his soft skin. "What's up, darling?" She asked so gently and sweet. Kiana leaned into her touch, purring with a faint blush on his face. She smiled and scooted closer ever so slightly.
He sighed. "What are we?"
The question left Elysia confused yet it also left her wondering. What were they... she would love for them to become partners, but that's whether or not Kiana feels comfortable with that right now. They could be partners already because of all the kissing and the sex they had last night, but they weren't, sadly.
"Uhm, I'm not sure. I would love for us to be partners because i really do like you, Kiana. I really do." Her voice was a whisper, so quiet. "Unless, you don't want to be that and that's fine."
The thing is, Kiana did want to be with her, so badly in fact. He just.. didn't know if it was right. Well, no, it was right, it was just- he didn't actually know why, nor did he have an explanation as to why he couldn't think it wouldn't be a bad idea. Elysia was good for Flora and his daughter seemed to love her, so he really didn't know.
"I'm not sure actually," he whispered, his voice filled with uncertainty. "I mean i like you a lot and you're amazing, one of the best people I've met so far, but- i don't what i want to be with you just yet."
Elysia's sad face that she tried to hide made Kiana's heart drop. He hadn't meant to make her upset, he would never in his life want to do that. Elysia knew what he was going to do, so she put a front and smiled at him. She was disappointed, but she couldn't blame him, maybe he just wanted to take it slow, which was funny because of what they did last night, but she didn't mind. They have all the time in the world.
She pulled her hand away from his cheek and rested it on his shoulder, giving him a squeeze for comfort. "That's ok. We have all the time in the world and if you want to take it slow, we can take it slow." She leaned over to give him a peck on the lips. He missed her warmth when she pulled away.
Kiana was about to say something when the door opened. Flora had woken up and was now a tad bit hungry. She walked up to her dad's bed. "Papa, can you make some breakfast? I'm hungry," she said, drowsiness still present in her voice as she rubbed her eyes.
Elysia looked at Kiana. He looked so tired and she couldn't help but feel bad. "Do you want me to do it? You look extremely tired," she asked in a whisper. She turned over to grab his shirt that was on the floor and put it on.
He shook his head. "No, it's ok. There's no need to bother yourself with it."
Elysia was a little offended by that, not really, but she tried to act like she was. "Nonsense, it wouldn't bother me at all. In fact, i would love to do and I'll bring your breakfast up to you in bed." She sent him a wink as she got out of bed.
She walked over to Flora and extended her hand out for the little girl to take. Flora's face lit up as she saw Elysia and she gladly took her hand in her's. "Come on, Flo, let's leave your daddy here to rest and let's go make some breakfast."
"Yay!" Flora's loud, excited voice rang through the bedroom as she dragged Elysia along with her. Elysia turned her head to smile at Kiana before getting dragged out the bedroom.
Kiana turned back over in his bed. A big grin was on his face. He really did love this woman.
Kiana sat at his desk in work. He had been looking through all the different types of prototypes that the other company had sent him. He hated desk work because it was just so boring and he had nothing else to do. He didn't care for the work because he didn't like what he did, he only works here because it gives him good money.
The scene from earlier this morning stuck with him and it was the only thing he could think of as he looked through the endless amounts of awful work. He didn't know what to think of himself because now that he was aware of everything and could actually think, he was stupid for what he said. He wanted to be with her and present him now would've asked her to be his girlfriend.
He groaned and placed his head on his desk. How could he have been so stupid? And what was he supposed to do now? He could ask Mei for advice, but she was with Flora and he'd rather not ruin their time together. There was no point in asking Elysia because it was about her. That leaves only one person, his mother.
Grabbing his phone off the desk, Kiana turned it on and scrolled through his contacts. Cecilia, his mum, was probably one of the only people he could turn to with advice, and yes it may seem weird that a 27 year old person is calling his mum for help, but there was no other person he could turn to.
The call was picked up quickly with a "hello" from the other side.
"Hey, mum. Um, i wanted to talk to you about something." Kiana messed with the pen that was on his desk.
"That's fine, honey. What's up?
"If you like someone and you want to be with them, but you were stupid and said you want to talk it slow, what do you do?"
Cecilia's laughter echoed through the phone. Only her son would do that and call her up for it.
"Well, if that person likes you back and doesn't want to take it slow, i say you talk to them and say you either want things to go fast or just drop the bomb shell and say you want a relationship with them."
Now, coming to think of it, that was a smart idea and Kiana sweared at himself mentally for not thinking of it. Elysia really made his mind go all over the place.
"That sounds like a great idea actually. Thanks mum, you're the best."
"No problem, sweetheart. See you soon."
"See you." Kiana placed his phone down once the call was finished and clapped his hands with happiness. He had such a good idea on how to bring this up to Elysia, and it just might get him out of the monotonous work space.
He picked his phone up and sent Elysia a quick saying, 'I'll be over at yours in a few'. He got up from his chair, his body beaming with excitement and walked out his office. He didn't care for what the people in there were thinking as he walked towards the stairs, nor did he care that his boss, who was Siegfried, shouted at him to come back. He simply just didn't care.
The fresh air that hit him was way more refreshing than it should've been. It was probably because Kiana was in a good mood. Now, all he had to do was get his girl.
Elysia was getting some tea ready for Kiana's arrival. She was taken by surprise when he texted her at 11am because he was usually in work and busy at the time. It was even more shocking because he said he was going to be around in a few minutes. She didn't want him to miss work because of her, though deep down she actually was happy about it.
A knock on her door was just right in time, the tea was ready and she was ready. She walked over to the door and opened it to reveal a very excited, but very handsome, especially in his work suit, Kiana. He had the biggest grin she had ever seen on his face. She was about to move out the way to let him in, but he quickly wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her up.
"Hope you don't mind me coming in like this, beautiful," his voice was booming with joy, it giving off the same energy as his big grin.
A light blush and a small smile appeared on Elysia's face as she sighed softly. She wrapped her arms around Kiana's neck and moved her face closer to his. "I don't mind it. In fact, i love it, my handsome." She couldn't contain herself and she just had to give him a quick peck on the cheek. His grin grew even larger.
"Put me down and help me take the tea to the garden," she commanded him, not in a mean way because she would never, but in a soft way that made Kiana melt.
He placed her down, missing the warmth of her as she moved away. She led him to the kitchen, where she grabbed the cups and he grabbed the tea pot, it was a nice tea pot since it was baby pink and had blue petals on the sides, very much Elysia. Though, at first, he made the stupid decision not to use the handle of the pot. The heat burning his fingers just slightly, not too bad, though.
Elysia then walked out to the garden, Kiana following her steps. He got hit with the pollen, not literally, but it was lingering in the air and it made him sneeze. Also, the smell of fresh plants was very prominent in the air too, not one of his favourite smells in the whole world, but it wasn't that bad.
Gingy jumped off the swing and swayed his way over to the wall when he saw Elysia coming. As much as he loved her, he had no time for whatever she was doing now. Elysia was very grateful he moved because she didn't want to move him herself. She sat down on the swing, placing the cups on the table, and she patted the spot next to her for him to him to take, which he gladly did so as he put the tea pot down on the table. He scooted ever so closed to her.
She poured the tea into the two cups, she passed Kiana one when she was finished. He gladly took it, and this time he didn't drink it it straight on like he had done many other times, he saved his insides from being burnt.
"So.. what did you come here for?" Elysia asked, jumping straight into the topic and wasting no time. It was a little strange that he would come to her at this time.
Kiana blew on the tea to make it cool and took a quick sip before placing it down. He actually didn't know how to start this. Well, he could start by saying "oh, Elysia, my heart has been yearning for you. I was stupid this morning to deny your love. I love you very much and i would love for you to be my girlfriend." but that would be very embarrassing, but funny at the same time.
He chuckled at the thought, it was stupid. He clicked his tongue and took a deep breath in before he spoke. "I wanted to say that I'm sorry for this morning. I was stupid." It made Elysia confused because he had nothing to be sorry for.
She was about to speak when Kiana placed a finger on his lips. "Nuh uh, don't say that i don't need to be sorry, i was to apologise for it." Elysia sighed, giving up fighting him about it. Kiana smiled. "I was not in the right mind this morning and i may have missed the chance."
"Missed the chance for what?" Elysia asked, her voice gentle but confusion was prominent.
Kiana hissed and took another deep breath in. "I missed the chance for you to be my girlfriend and for me to be yours. All because i was hesitant." He breathed out, worried at what Elysia thought, but when he saw the sweet look on her face, he knew that she was happy.
Elysia smiled so brightly. She scooted closer to Kiana, placing one hand on his waist and the other on his cheek. She leaned in and gave him a kiss that was so, so gentle and was full of such love. He smiled and relax into her as he deepened the kiss, putting his arms around her tightly as to never let go.
She pulled away after a few seconds and put her forehead against his. Their noses were touching and they couldn't contain their big smiles that hurt their faces.
"I'm all yours," Elysia breathed out, leaning closer to ever so slightly. "I'll forever be yours."
Kiana felt tears swell in his eyes. He felt so loved. It has been so long since he's heard someone say that to him and the fact that Elysia said forever, was enough for a few tears to drop. He pulled her into another kiss, this one being more gentle than the last. He kissed her like she was going to go, like she would leave him, though she would never.
He pulled away. A few tears dropped and Elysia brushed them away with a soft touch. "Does that mean we are together?" He asked, still uncertain whether or not it was true.
"Yes," Elysia said, nodding her head as a few tears of her own fell down her face. "Yes, we are, darling." She brought him in for another kiss. She felt so happy. So loved. She finally got the person she had been looking for her whole life.
Though, a small gasp made them pull away. They turned to where the noise came from. There, stood a small child who stared at them with admiration. Well, not really at Kiana because he didn't think the child even saw him. The child was staring at Elysia with awe. They turned to someone who was stood by the side of them and both of them heard the child go, "mama, look! it's the pretty lady in the garden."
The mother quickly rushed over and started to pull the child away, giving them a quick sorry before walking off. The scene reminded Kiana of the first time he saw Elysia again in this garden. The child reminded him so much of Flora as she said the same thing as they did. The memory made him chuckle to himself.
He turned to Elysia, giving her a smile. "The name suits you. The pretty lady in the garden." He rested his head on her shoulder. She brought her hand up to drag her fingers through his hair. He relaxed more into her at her soft touch.
"Hmm, i guess so. Many children say that." She whispered into his ear.
"It's true," he mumbled into her shoulder before pulling himself off her. That's when a brilliant idea popped up on his head. Well, it wasn't actually brilliant, it was just an idea to have a nice time. A Kiana idea if you will.
He stood up and bent down to wrap his arms around her waist. He pulled her up from her seat, making her let out a noise of surprise. She swung her legs around his hips to give herself more balance. "How about we go have some fun, gorgeous?" Kiana asked with a smirk.
Elysia got the hint and she too, had a smirk form on her face. She placed her arms around his neck and leaned in closer. "I would love that," she whispered with a giggle and brought him in for a kiss.
Kiana carefully made his way back into the house, which was much harder than it seemed because he had Elysia in his hands and had to make sure he didn't step on any flowers. But he did it successfully, but of course he would, he's a Kaslana.
