Chapter Text
The place was filled with clicking and people talking. Stanley was busy with his work, patiently waiting for his break.
He sighed, the time was going faster as he got more focus on his work. He heard a harsh knock making him jump from his seat, as Jim opened his office door.
"Hey, Stan. Do you wanna hang out with us? Heard there's a new cafe!" He happily said, smiling at Stanley.
[I will, maybe, if you didn't scare me with your harsh knocking on my door.] He signed. As Jim had felt sorry.
"Sorry, i was too excited for our break." He awkwardly scratched his nape. Jim felt someone smack his head, as he looked back behind him.
"You should've waited for me, i was almost done finishing with my work." Mariella had said to Jim. "Sorry.." He sighed.
"It's fine, at least you 'didn't' bothered me to hurry up." She snickered.
"Do you wanna come with us, Stan?" She said, while Jim waited behind her.
[Yeah, sure, i don't have anything else to do anyways.] He signed, saving his work before standing up.
"Great! Let's go." She walked off as the two guys followed him.
The cafe seemed large enough for many people. The three walked inside, before looking at their menu. "I'll get Affogato. What do you guys want?" Mariella questioned.
"I'll get a Latte." Jim said to her, as Stanley signed [Black coffee for me.]
Later they got their coffee, sitting down at a booth. "This is great, don't you guys think so?" Jim questioned while Stanley unknowingly looking at an older man, speaking to the cashier.
"Stan? Hey, Stanley! You're zoning out." He waved his hand infront of his face. Making him awaken from his daze.
Mariella laughed, "You seem to have interest in that man." She grinned.
[I do not! I was.. just looking at what he was ordering.] His cheeks heat up, feeling embarrassed.
"Yeah? What was he ordering then?" Jim teased him, making Stanley groan out silently.
He felt his face heat up more as they teased him.
Not knowing that the man knew sign language. Sipping his tea, laughing to himself before walking out of the cafe.
They finally stopped teasing him, moving into another topic.
He did find him attractive, but he wasn't going on a date that he doesn't know.
The Narrator or known as Kevin. Finally got to his home, remembering the man in the cafe. He was cute, signing to them that he wasn't interested in him at all. But the blush on his face, really didn't help him.
He looked simple, as he wanted to write anything about him. Hoping he'd see him everyday he go to that cafe.
He went back to his work that he saved, writing ideas on a paper. After a couple of hours, he decided that was enough for the day. It was dark outside, seeing the lights outside.
He yawned, stretching his body.
His writings were popular, making a few books. He liked writing, but sometimes it would be unhealthy, working at night til' morning.
He had finished his tea, throwing it in the bin. As he went to the kitchen, looking for some snacks. He found nothing. Sighing as he went back to his room or studio. Throwing himself in his bed.
This was great, feeling himself fall asleep.
