There was a small detail that Bakugou always tried to hide, well, "hide" wasn't the right word, but rather he tried to deny it to himself!

In Midnight's history classes, it was common for students to interact by answering questions or even volunteering to complete the historical facts that the teacher narrated, and of course, some students stood out!
But from Bakugou's point of view, it was just another opportunity for the "know-it-all" in the back to chatter with their statements and opinions, it was amazing how he always made a little show for everyone!
When the teacher paused to allow someone to continue if they knew about the subject, it was only a matter of seconds until he heard his voice. Sometimes, the girlfriend of Half-Half was quicker than him, depriving Bakugou of getting annoyed about it!
As usual, when Iida started to speak, it was natural for most of the students to turn and look at him, which added a little anger to Katsuki, who didn't care to move an inch because of it!
But this time, in this small moment of Bakugou's life, that detail was put aside on that Thursday afternoon. We could blame the fact that on that same morning, he had discovered what he would receive as a birthday present from his parents, and that helped him have a great tolerance for his classmate's chattering!
He simply turned around, not paying much attention to his annoying classmate, it was just an unplanned action, and by some joke of the universe, Katsuki found himself noticing the little person sitting behind Tenya.
Uraraka looked just as bored as he was, but what caught his attention was what she was doing with her damn pencil. It was a silly thing, he knew how she was doing it, which made him mentally wonder why the hell he found it relevant!
She was holding her pencil upright, with the graphite tip down resting on the table, and her index finger was on the other end where the eraser was located. So far, nothing incredible, but when she took her finger off the pencil, it continued to float in the same position like a cheap magic trick!
She had certainly touched the pencil with all her fingers before to accomplish this feat, but what caught Bakugou's attention was that the damn pencil didn't keep floating up to the ceiling. He remembered hearing some random conversation about how Uraraka was able to control the gravity of an object to the point of keeping it still in the same place without it simply reaching the stratosphere!
The pencil remained still, hovering just millimeters above the table. She kept her hands close, waiting for the pencil to fall, but it didn't. Suddenly, a feeling of joy took over her face for the small feat and she opened a radiant 1000-watt smile, leaving her observer a bit more surprised!
On the other side of the room, he also noticed her smile. He didn't expect to see those brown eyes shining so happily, her joy infected him and he enjoyed her little achievement.
Unconsciously, he also noticed how her bangs were long and falling a little over her eyes. As if hearing his thoughts, Ochako ran her fingers through her bangs trying to put it behind her ear and accidentally her attention shifted away from the pencil in front of her, and her eyes simply met Katsuki's. Of course, he was a lucky bastard for her to have caught him staring out of nowhere!
A wave of heat rose up her neck and face, concentrating on her cheeks, causing him to look away. He hated himself for feeling embarrassed about being caught looking at her, trying to convince himself that it didn't matter, it was just a glance, it wasn't the end of the world!
Little did he know that this would be the first of many glances back when Iida started talking. It also took him a while to realize that he was doing it with the sole intention of taking in more of her, denying his true intentions!
