Capitano x Nun!Reader mini series

Summary:

Hello everyone! This will be my compilation for the Nun!Reader brainrot that I have and since I feel like I haven't explored entirely on this concept so I might add more shortfics in the future.

So in my concept Reader is a nun of the Church of Favonius who happens to have a pyro vision. She is basically a caged bird because of her family being too controlling. That's why I chose Mondstadt because of the symbolism that she couldn't fly freely in the nation of Freedom.

So instead of having Capitano locking her up... He is the one who frees his little dove from her cage and shatters the shackles that binded her freedom ♡

Chapter 1: Barely Even Friends then Somebody Bends Unexpectedly

Summary:

Capitano loses a duel to the Reader who is a Sister from the Church of Favonius.

Chapter Text

Blood dripped down from your forehead and cheek, they were cut by the blades of the First of the Fatui Harbingers, the Captain. The duel may have lasted longer than you had anticipates but alas, your small form could not last against Capitano's humongous built.

Though defeated you still push yourself up from the grass field kneeling on the ground. You look up to his helmet but found no emotion in those mask that has the hole of a dark abyss.

The tip of the Captain's sword lifted your chin up gently.

"Do you yield?"

In hindsight this should be the scariest moment of your life. And you were a nun... so scratch that first sentence this is the first time you had gotten so scared. However losing in terms of strength to Capitano was already a fate you had accepted when you challenged him for a duel.

Yet despite the fear, you had to protect those useless and dumb Knights of Favonius that quarreled with some Fatui soldiers.

"Never."

You hissed out in pain and a plan formulated inside your head that would lead you to victory against a duel with a Fatui Harbinger.

Then his helmet down slightly as he saw your bow on the ground that has been shredded by his sword earlier.

With him distracted by 0.5 seconds your pyro vision that hanged below your neck glowed bright red.

A red colored pistol appeared in your hand.

The bullet ignited into flames as it deflected Capitano's sword. Even with the void in his helmet even you can tell that he is surprised by how fast you intercepted him. With the last two bullets you emptied your pistol while he remains surprised for another 0.5 seconds.

You put all your efforts into landing into two shots on the shoulders that chipped his armor. The force is so strong that it sent his huge body slamming to a nearby tree. With the impact, the tree snapped in half and Capitano lay on the ground with him staring up at the fake bright blue sky.

"You may have overpowered me Capitano but the rules of this duel is when one of us yields or when our whole body lays on the ground." Wiping the blood off your face, you approach the Captain with a feral grin.

Adrenaline rushed and clouded your mind, it felt good to have outsmarted the highest ranking member of the Fatui Harbingers.

The look on your face is something that a Sister from the Church of Favonihs should never even have. Your expression is full of arrogant pride that you had bested the oh so honorable Capitano. With a victorius smirk, you opened your palm to accept a handshake. Dropping the useless pistol gun to the ground.

"So do I have your word that you would not kill the knights that have insulted your soldiers?"

The Captain slowly stood up, he lets his sword pierce the ground. He looms over your shorter body, his mask is still void of emotion. "Very well, you have my word Sister _____." He takes your small yet calloused hand in his own armored big ones. He lowers his head and the void of his helmet where his lips would be touches the top of your hand.

The 1st Harbinger bends his loss down to your victory.

And yet...

It did not feel like a sting to Capitano's pride as the Tsaritsa's strongest soldier. As the matter of fact the beating of his heart only became louder. Not only did you made him lose a match, you also won his heart.

How utterly foolish of him to have fallen for a nun. You were a person who worshiped another archon, sworn to be untouched and serve only your god and his people. Yet the act of these forbidden feelings only heightened his desire to have you.
