Lee Taeyong knew he was in trouble the minute the door to the meeting room opened.
Johnny Lee-Suh stood in the doorway in all his glory with a soft smile on his face but Taeyong knew better.
He didn’t bother acknowledging the surprised looks from his employees as Johnny moved slightly, letting a little boy with fluffy brown hair no older than six, walk in holding a deer plushie. None of the employees spoke as the boy walked directly to Taeyong holding his hands out, silently demanding to be picked up. Taking a deep breath, Taeyong tried to look stern as gathered the boy and settled him on his lap. “Lee Haechan, daddy’s holding a very important meeting right now.”
“Nap time.”
“Yes, it is nap time. You and papa can take a nap in daddy's office while daddy works.” Taeyong tried to be firm, especially with all the ears listening. Glancing at Johnny but his husband still stood in the doorway with a smile.
“Channie wants us to take nap time together as a family.”
“Johnny-”
“Daddy, nap time.”
Taeyong looked down. Haechan was staring at him with those soft brown eyes that matched his papa so much and his little cute pout on his face. The deer plushie right next to his chest didn’t help. Taking a deep breath Taeyong glanced back at Johnny who was waiting patiently with a matching look. Standing up, Taeyong made sure to not look any of the people in the room in the eye as he closed his laptop and shifted his son to his hip. “We’ll rejoin in thirty.” Taeyong announced.
“An hour.” Johnny's voice rang.
“Mmh, I mean an hour.”
