Chapter Text
First the black and violet night
Softens and pales to deeper blue
Followed by red and orange light
As the sun awakes.
Paler and paler becomes the sky
Chased now by rose and purple hue
Clouds tinged with gold sail on by
And the dawn now breaks.
And then the lucifer, the first light
The sun peeks into view
And chases away the black of the night.
The light of morn overtakes.
