“Deku! I hope you know CPR cause you just took my breath away” I say leaning on the wall next to his desk. “Haha very funny Denki do you need help with the math work?” “No I’m good, cya later!” I walk back to the dorms line 1 failed.

“After line one failed I made it my plan to use all the pickup lines I could until Deku realises I like him” I say to Sero “that sounds like a long process dude. Yknow how oblivious he is…” “yeah yeah, I know. Anyway I we should get going for study group so we aren’t late.” “Good idea, bakugou might blow our heads off if we are-“ we go down stairs to the common room and head to the large table for study group. Everyone finally arrives with Deku being the last one. “Sorry I’m late everyone! I had a meeting with Aizawa!” “All good Deku! Let’s get this homework done with!” Ochako happily said. “So Deku, aside from taking my breath away what else do you do?” I say in the middle of doing my English homework. “Very funny Denki! I would love to tell you about my hobbies outside of school!” “Sure, that sound fun!” I can hear everyone sigh at my failed attempt at another pickup line

“Alright, pairs! Midoriya and Denki you are a pair!” Mic sensei yelled. Yesss I can use another pickup line in English! “Uhh earth the Denki” “AH sorry Deku zoned out for a moment, anyway let’s practice some English!” After some practicing some conversational English it’s my time to shine. “Yknow what” “what is it Denki?” “I need to complain to Spotify for you not being named this weeks hottest single!” “Denki! That was some really good English!” And it was ignored- but at least I got a compliment!

Texts between Deku and Denki
D: Hey are you parking ticket? Cause you have fine written all over you 😎
I: yknow we can’t drive right?
D: …. Yup

“OI! Extras! It’s dinner time!”
“Ooh what’s for dinner??”
“Smashed cucumber salad.”
“Ooh nice”
We all sat down to eat, all was peaceful but I couldn’t resist this perfect opportunity heh
“Hey Izuku?”
I saw him go bright red
“Uh yes Denki?”
“If you were a vegetable you’d be a Cute-cumber”
“What? I’m not a vegetable?”
“…”
I hear everyone laugh at this interaction. We continue to eat dinner awkwardly.

“Izuku! We should totally go see the new All Might movie!”
“We totally should! I’ve been wanting to see it!!”
“Wait, I can’t take you to the movies; they don’t let snacks in :(“
He face went as red as Kiri’s hair. Then he just ran away-

Friday night = movie night!
Today we are watching Lilo and Stitch
We got up the the part the Lilo and Stitch hug. “Hey Izuku, yknow what you’d look good in? My arms.”

Another movie night was upon class 1A.
We are watching the transformer movie- why? Because Sero thought it was funny.
Anyway another movie is another chance for a pickup line!
“Hey Izuku, if you were a transformer you’d be optimums fine!”
“Denki- just watch the movie please-“

After what happened on Friday I thought I had been friend zoned or worse. Rejected. But it can’t hurt until he actually says the words. We are playing minecraft as a class due to class bonding and kirishima liking the game- Izuku had built a lovely little cottage with flowers out the front so the perfect time for this line…

It’s been three weeks since I started this and my god it has just occurred to me that he may be purposefully ignoring the lines cause he doesn’t want to date. I sigh and walk out of the building to go to class when Izuku runs up to me “your hand looks heavy, can I hold it for you?” I just stand there. Did he actually just use a pickup line on me… “YES!” I shout. I only just realise that he is extremely red and is not looking at me. “Alright…” he grabs my hand and then I am as red as he is. “So you finally understood that I’ve been flirting with you?” “Yea, you have been acting really weird lately so I asked Kacchan if he knew what this was about. I had to think it over for a while to truly understand but I like you to Denki” he says softly “well then, will you do the honour of being my boyfriend?” “Of course!”
