    In this AU, after Pibby has obtained the power of the darkness herself, this power slowly starts to get to her head. So when the time came and she had her chance to get rid of the darkness forever, Pibby realized that would mean losing her power as well. She believes there might be a way she can control the darkness completely. She could uncorrupt everyone and still keep the power. So she stops herself from destroying the darkness. Her allies are now furious with the idea and what she has done. She ends up making herself an enemy. Pibby now feeling betrayed, abandons the group of survivors. Her goals have now changed, she will control the darkness and will fight against anyone who opposes her.
