Chapter Text
He did his best to ignore his interest in this boy. He occupied himself with a bunch of mental affairs: he cleaned the house, walked around the old stations, traveled outside the city just to relax. But he was pulled back. Something unknown pulled him back at that moment when the connection with the external world had been disconnected, and floor had become half like cotton wool.
Jisung never fell in love. Yes, oddly enough, when such an open person doesn't date with anyone. He talked just because he was bored. Then he was silent for two years. But graduation gave him hope. It was difficult to find a common language with people, no one tried to get along with his closeness and didn't want to understand what problems he had and how to hang out with him.
But one boy was found. His strange classmate Felix.
A thin, freckled boy who loves to climb where he shouldn't. Learn something that the mind can't comprehend. Loves bruises and eats lemons. And also wears shabby vintage things, practices taekwondo and spits on someone else's opinion from the roof of a high-rise building.
The first acquaintance must was very awkward because of the ignorance of the friend and the new environment. But they had enough by an accidentally flying eraser through the window during the lesson.
♡
Jisung sat at a desk by the window with some girl looking forward and chestnut hair, but they had only simple and formal conversations. In the first week, the kids might be wandering from party to party looking for friends, but Han decided to stay with her because, well, the others already had their own thing. He didn't want to climb and be superfluous.
At the end of Thursday, she didn't come to class and Son had to sit alone. He may have looked a little pitiful, but it's better that way than under pressure. And so, sitting on the geometry, they needed rulers, pencils and much more. From the list he found only a couple of pencils.
Trying to draw an even circle for a couple of minutes, he gets a crooked polygon. He knows how to write, and thanks for that. There was no eraser in the backpack, so he glanced back at the class and rushed at the seated older boy in worn, painted sneakers and bracelets on his hands.
— Hey, — he whispered to a classmate which immediately turned around.
— M? — nods.
— May I have an eraser? — shows the silhouette with his hands.
— Yes, — swarm around in a blue pencil case, puts his pen on the table and takes the rubber band in his hands. — Catch it.
The guy with the clarified hair, waving, throws a eraser. And falls into. In the open window right behind Jisung.
They both start laughing, trying not to break the silence in the classroom, but it doesn't work. The teacher, seems like whose mood has spoiled in the morning, notices unreasonable laughter in the class. After the lesson she approached to the janitor that writes down on the list the names of two boys for cleaning the school's grounds. They laughed.
♡
Naturally, it's much easier to survive together. Even as far as the lessons were concerned, they divided the tasks between two people in order to do everything faster and go for a walk. Exams didn't interest them at all. So it turned out that later they had to find out who their headman was, just in case.
Seungmin has never been against communication. If everyone immediately evaluated at first, he did quite the opposite. He started talking about frogs with the guys who left in the class for cleaning to see if they could be trusted. It turned out that he hit the mark.
After having swept the floors, Jisung and Felix took him for a joint walk to a cafe with delicious tea and custard cakes.
Hyunjin was originally in a different class, but was transferred to them in the spring due to frequent absences due to health reasons. Therefore, only closer to the middle of summer, he began to go to lessons. And wormed his way into their company because of an anime keychain.
They instantly began to run up to him and ask where he got it, if they are no longer sold anywhere. And Seungmin remained standing by the parties and looked regretted when Hwang looked at him absently.
In the end, they became even closer than with the appearance of interested in two faces.
Half a year flew by unnoticed, and their friendship became even stronger. Shortly after an agonizingly long July, they returned to school. Daily walks didn't dissapear, they increasingly began to flow into the class team. They even went on a couple of outings with other classmates. The last time Jisung had fun like this was probably in the third grade.
And this fun continued at school. The guys continue to rage already right in the classroom taste the chaotic teenage life. They played in the stadium, sneaked into the pool, filmed funny videos on the social media and just lived. But outside the company, these joys ended.
The rest of the classes considered this the strangest, often discussed them and more than once expressed dissatisfaction that they were doing something completely different from what the school was intended for. But worst of all was the moment when they began to manifest it directly.
♡
With a slow, unhurried gait, Jisung walked towards the school. Fully dyed light yellow hair attracted a lot of attention to him, but he had long been accustomed to these unreadable looks.
What only worth to stroll alone, what considered unacceptable in adolescence. Everyone wanted to put in their two cents, starting to discuss this topic right in front of his nose. Walking in a company is the best thing that people have come up with. Everyone should have worthy friends to spend the best years of your life with them.
Now he doesn't care at all. Let them consider his large comfortable zip-up sweatshirt, his dirty sneakers and ugly plasters on his hands as strange.
As he approached the entrance, he immediately saw a disgruntled Felix in his favorite sports red sweatshirt with white accents and Hyunjin in a white shirt with a loose tie and plaid pants. It's like he's at a fashion show.
After greeting everyone, they stepped onto the threshold of the school. In the courtyard they were met by Seungmin with some black folder. He looked solid, a future businessman. But then the pace slowed down.
— Look, — Hyunjin nods at the wide staircase at the entrance. — Isn't that Soojin?
A dark-haired pretty classmate who was most often the center of attention. Sweetheart and will give you a smoke, if you ask nicely. She also bakes delicious chocolate chip cookies. The girl was surrounded by some guys. That were look like a peace of shit. Jisung didn't envy her.
— It's her, — Fel confirmed, after which the group moved closer.
Soojin was unceremoniously grabbed by the hand as she turned around and wanted to leave.
— Wait, I haven't finished yet.
— Moron, — she pulls her hand, trying to escape. — Let me fucking go.
The girl doesn't immediately notice that now the guys are not looking at her, but somewhere down. Hyunjin and Han quickly climbed the stairs and approached the crowd.
— What? What are you looking for? — said the loudest of them that didn't let Soojin go. — Get out.
— Soojin, who is this? – ignoring the student’s words, Hwang looked at the girl and at her hand. Then the grip was loosened and then released.
Han rolls his eyes over the people he doesn't know and rests on the insane grin from under his forehead.
— I don’t know, they stopped me here and didn’t let me through, —she nodded her head, crossing her arms in front of her. — They are from other class, but I don’t know them, — she quickly moved sideways to her classmates, not taking her eyes off of complete disgust.
— So we wanted to get to know each other, — another voice sounds, — what’s wrong with that?
— Wrong is that no one don’t fucking get to know people like you do, — Jisung instantly answers the same guy and doesn’t understand. Why was his heart beating faster?
— Can't you see she doesn't want to? — irritated Felix joins, bypassing the girl from the side.
— You're brave, guys, — that guy steps to the middle and approaches Jisung, looking at him with wide eyes. — Infuriate the whole school with your existence, — he looks around at the others.
— Uh, — Han lowers his voice. — I'm here, — the stranger lowers his head without that smile. — Look into my eyes if you want to say something.
— Oh, yes, what are you, — and again the same smirk, — really?
Jisung feels like he's being electrocuted. He stares at that face, unable to move. As if something is attracting. And the pain in the temples tingles. Or is it in the chest?
— Forget, we’ll be late for the lesson, — Felix lets Han come to his senses and steps forward. — Let pass.
— Yeah, but at first calm down your hamster, — the student moves away from Son with disgust, — he's too nois-
He doesn't have time to finish the phrase, as Felix, instantly swings his leg and hits the standing guy in the nose, forcing him to stagger and lose touch with the outside world for a couple of seconds. Lix slams into his face until his own resembles some kind of demon.
The mouth closes, kissing the patterned sole.
— You need to stop shitting, — Lee refrains from spitting at them. Instead, he looks at the writhing student for a couple more seconds, then turns to the guys and nods. — Let's go.
While Felix stomps his feet loudly and is ready to tear down anyone who says a word to him, Hyunjin, Seungmin and Soojin discuss those guys.
And Jisung's pain doesn't stops.
