Chapter Text
“I mean really, was it entirely necessary for Cammie to be such a rude person?” Taco rambled. Taco and Blocky were having a late night walk towards Taco’s apartment. Blocky was listening to Taco complain about a show they watched earlier. “She’s only in her Senior year of high school, why is she like that? I mean, she blackmailed and destroyed a reputation all in one episode! That’s so stupid!” She babbled.
Blocky would rather be doing something else with her, but instead he just listened to her. She was mad at the writers for writing Cammie. He looks bored, like he wanted to tell her ‘shut up!’, but he didn’t. He just barely listening to her mad ramble.
Suddenly, Blocky’s choker vibrated. Blocky started to choke a bit, and he blushes when Taco looks at him weird.
“Hey uhh, Taco. I gotta go, get home safely! Bye!” He runs off towards his house. Taco was stricken dumbOnce he’s there, he gets into his car and drives over to the secret hideout.
Once he’s there, he sees Bubble, Gelatin, Puffball, and Cake. “Hey Blockster.” Gelatin said casually. He did a slight wave. Blocky goes onto his knees, trying to breathe better. “Maybe… next time… don’t vibrate my choker… next time I’m with Taco.” Blocky says exasperated. Bubble rolls her eyes, Gelatin teases him silently, Puffball chuckles a bit, and Cake looks the same, trying not to laugh.
“Sorry, thats not up to me! It’s up to the dream calculator.” X announced. They were sitting backwards on his office chair towards the 5. They flip up their arm towards the dream calculator. It’s a circular tv with a diagram of earth on it. There is a red dot where kids are having bad dreams. “Now let’s get this thing going! A kid named ‘House’ is having a bad dream. It’s in Old Wooten. Go help her with her dream and stop it!” X said smiling. Blocky pressed the red button, and immediately, all 5 of the dream hunters were teleported into the dream realm.

When they were teleported, it was a dark and short forest. Crying sounds were heard in the distance. When you look west, a massive house with limbs was seen, making the noises. The 5 walked over to the house, and lined up around her to try and talk.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” Cake yelled. House didn’t respond. They stayed silent for a moment, but blocky had an idea. “Puffball, can you carry Cake up there? He has the most comforting voice out of us all, and you can fly.” Blocky revealed. Puffball nodded and said “okay dokay!” In her auto-tuned voice. She shrunk down to pick up Cake. Cake shook a bit, but got used to it. Puffball and Cake went up to House, near her face.
“Hey, what’s wrong? I’m here to listen.” Cake said. “Everything. I’m fat, and ugly, and contagious.” House announced. “Wha, how are you contagious?” Cake asked “Everyone at school says my obesity is contagious and I need to stay away from them.” “Trust me babe, obesity isn’t contagious.” Puffball commented. “Then what about what the kids at school say? Are they lying to me?” House asked. Both of Puffball and Cake nodded. She shrunk down a bit, her insecurity decreasing.
“Well, they say I need to eat less, so they make me starve.” House said. Cake gasped. “Don’t worry, food is amazing. Don’t starve yourself for some half-a” Gelatin said. Before he could continue, Blocky nudged him so he’ll stop. Blocky and gelatin were on top of a tree near Cake and Puffball, Gelatin on top of Blocky.
She shrunk down more, a little taller than the trees now. “And if they want you starving, then you starve ‘em of their happiness: your suffering. Don’t let them control you anymore, END ‘EM!” Gelatin said. He was smiling, the others looked weirded-out. “And look, if you dissapear from your school, then everyone’ll miss you.” Blocky replied. He pops Bubble, making an example of her. House shrunk down some more until she was shorter than the trees.
“Yea, you’re right! If they don’t see that I’m amazing, then I’ll show ‘em! And they’re gonna be so sorry that they ever made me cry so many times!” House gets up and smiles, raising her arms in the air. Once she smiles, the sky brightens into a beautiful sunset. House passes out onto the grass, looking comfortable in her sleep.
Cake, Puffball, Gelatin, and Blocky were teleported back into the object realm. “Ello! How’d it go?” X asked delightedly. “It went well. Helped the poor girl.” Gelatin announced. “Great! Then, have a good sleep!” X said. They were right, be the time they finished, it was already sunrise. They all walked out, X reviving Bubble

“Alright, continue your mindless ramble.” Blocky allowed. They were both sitting on Taco’s bed, legs crossed. “Before I do that, where did you go for the night? You looked like you were in a hurry.” Taco asked. Blocky looked like he had been shot in the heart by his best friend. “Oh, left the oven on.” Blocky said. “Oh, cool! Anyways, blah blah blah.” Taco rambled. As soon as she started, Blocky got bored. Blocky told himself ‘well, this is it for now’ as Taco continued to talk.
