“I can’t fire a gun.” The words had barely left Tie Zhui’s mouth before Qi Shan turned around to summon one of his soldiers with a few words.
“Teach him how to fire a gun.” Qi Shan simply told the soldier like it’s no big deal.
Tie Zhui should be used to it, this was hardly the first time that Qi Shan did something like this, but it’s like Tie Zhui’s heart hadn’t caught up with the fact. It still skips a beat whenever Qi Shan takes care of him, one way or another.
Whether it be protecting him during one of the tomb explorations, or like the time Qi Shan had saved him when he got kidnapped, or like now giving him whatever he wanted before he even got the chance to ask for it.
No matter what it was, it never fails to make Tie Zhui’s heart flutter, but at the same time, it also never fails to make his heart hurt afterwards.
Because what Tie Zhui really wanted was something that Qi Shan would never be able to give him.
His unconditional love and hand in marriage.
The second thing will forever be impossible, and the first was something that Tie Zhui was scared to even dream of coming true.
The matter got even more complicated with the arrival of Yin Xin Yue.
With a quiet sigh and a small shake of his head, he turned his attention back to what the soldier was explaining, not noticing Qi, Shan's soft gaze as he looked on.
