What could be more of a more reliable account than from a muse? One whose passion is storytelling should embrace the truth. Many retellings of such a war tell us many things, but who is right? A boy with a yearning for battle? A man who pulls the strings? One who thinks destined for independence? Or a bard who knows the only end of a war is through death?
For what would a poet know?
