There she sat by the fire as she stared at it and held her tea softly. The pink haired shinobi had been 9 months along her pregnancy which meant they were nearing the finish line. She hummed and zoned out while her eyes had traced the flames.
“Sakura.” A husky voice had snapped her out of her trance.
She flinched slightly since it had startled her but looked at her husband with a soft smile.
“Anata.” She responded back before he took a seat next to her and looked at the fire just like she did.
“We should reach Konoha in about three days time.” He informed her then looked over at the enlarged belly of hers. “Should be fine.” He said simply before she waved her hand dismissively. “It will definitely be fine Sasuke-kun. Are you nervous?” She teased and nudged his side.
Her husband looked away and smirked slightly. “Annoying.” He teased back.
The two Uchiha’s went quiet. It wasn’t an awkward silence, it was a more comforting one than anything. Sasuke soon stood up and motioned over to their sleeping setup. “You should rest.” He suggested and she sighed heavily. “I guess you’re right. Wake me up if you get tired.” She told him seriously towards the end and he made his way to the tree. “Hn.”
Sakura hummed happily and laid down gently as slumber soon took over. Once she woke up, she noticed a certain black haired Uchiha embracing her from behind who was asleep. She hummed contently and rested for a little while then patted his hand.
The male let out a groggy groan and laid on his back. “Sorry dear but I got to pee.” She giggled and got up slowly before she walked away to the bushes.
Sasuke hummed curiously since a lot of time had gone by, at least a lot of time for a simple pee. He got up and made his way toward the direction she went then found her kneeled down and holding her belly. “Sakura?” He asked worriedly then noticed the pained expression on her face. “No, no, no…” he mumbled and quickly made his way over. “Is it?…” he grabbed her hand while she nodded quickly. “Contraction.” She spat out and took deep breaths.
If there was a time Sasuke Uchiha was scared, it was now.
He gulped and quickly picked her up, using sasanoo to give him a second arm. He didn’t bother packing as he knew there were other priorities. He quickly thought about where they were then nodded. “Think you can hold on for an hour?..” he whispered nervously and she nodded.
The Uchiha began to make his move while during the trip, the contractions were getting closer. Once he approached the building, Sakura’s eyes widened but quickly let out a painful groan. “I know it’s not ideal…” he mumbled. “But it’s the best thing we got.” He reassured.
She panted a few times and nodded weakly before Sasuke went inside with his wife. “Karin!” He yelled frantically before a woman with red hair soon came into sight. “S-Sasuke-ku!-“ she was cut off by the sight of a very pregnant Sakura. “Karin!” She exclaimed excitedly even though she was worn down. “How great it is to see yOU!-“ she gasped once another contraction hit.
The male gulped and looked at Karin. “Please… I need your help…” he mumbled while the Uzumaki was taken aback slightly. Seeing him like this was a first, probably a first for anyone. “F-Follow me…” she mumbled since she was heartbroken knowing the love of her life had been taken.
They soon got the pregnant ninja onto a bed as she exhaled shakily before Sasuke took off his cloak. “Do you… need anything?” He asked her nervously and she closed her eyes. “I’m okay…” she laughed exhausted while Karin checked her progress. “She about 6 centimetres dilated.”
Sakura nodded slightly before opening her eyes. “You’ll need lots of towels, sterile scissors, if there’s any testing I can heal myself…” she paused to take a break since she was just getting through a contraction again. “A bulb syringe as well…” she whispered.
Karin laughed and looked at her. “You think I’m stupid, I know how to deliver a child.” She hmph’ed as Sasuke narrowed his eyes at her which ultimately caused her to smarten up.
“Ah Shanaroo… I wanted to give birth at home.” She complained but accepted her fate. She glanced over at her husband’s face before snorting. “Oh darling, you look horrible.” Sasuke simply looked at her unamused. “Tsk.”
Karin blinked and quietly looked at the two before accepting it. These two were in love and it’s a love that isn’t common. Their bond is unbreakable. “Alright. Let’s get prepared and stop messing around.” She scolded which made Sakura giggled. “Of course, of course.”
Once they had gotten prepared, Sakura had let out a painful yell which cause Sasuke to be by her side in a millisecond. Karin watched the bedding get wet and she quickly got towels under her. “Her water broke.” She informed the two calmly then inspected her before putting gloves on. “The head is already starting to breach, when the next contraction comes I need you to push.” She instructed carefully which Sakura teared up at.
“I’m scared.” She said with a quivering voice. “I’m really scared.” She started to cry.
Her husband looked at her shock as he had never seen her scared ever. He took her hand softly and gave it it slight squeeze. “You got this… I know you do…” he kissed her sweaty forehead and moves the messy strands of hair out of her face. The pink haired Uchiha looked up at him then sniffled. “Okay…”
Karin stared at him dumbfounded at the scene he had just displayed then shook her head. She positioned herself for when Sakura would push. The contraction soon came and the pushing began. She yelled out in pain and agony while almost breaking Sasuke’s hand in the process.
He hissed in pain but continued to hold her hand back securely.
“Okay Sakura, take deep breaths..” she mumbled and started counting. “Push now!” She quickly instructed which made the konoichi yell even more. “I see the head! One or two more pushes and you’re done.”
Sasuke decided to take a look to which he regretted immediately since the sight wasn’t the greatest. This made him admire his wife even more. “You got this Sakura, just a couple more.” He cheered her on and she nodded shakily before soon she let go of his hand.
Karin got the fluid out of the baby’s throat and nose swiftly then soon cries filled the room.
Sakura smiled fondly as tears filled her eyes. Once the umbilical cord was cut and the blood and mucus covered baby was on her chest, she cried even more.
“A girl…” the red haired female told softly and glanced at Sasuke who had tears streaming down his cheeks with the infamous sharingan activated to keep this moment with him forever.
They soon got the placenta out, healed up the tears, and got the little girl cleaned and wrapped up.
Sakura ran her fingers along the black strands of hair while Karin had stepped out to give the two their moment. “She’s beautiful…” she whispered contently before her husband rubbed her cheek.
Her eyes soon opened as she looked at her parents in awe while caused Sakura to smile so happily. “She’s your daughter alright…” his wife chirped up and giggled.
Sasuke smiled the widest he could and kissed his wife’s head. “Thank you Sakura…” he mumbled against her hair.
The girl soon began to fuss and Sakura knew immediately what was wrong. She pulled her baby close and guided her to latch onto her breast and she did almost immediately. “Smart like your papa too.” She cooed.
Her husband sighed and rolled his eyes. “Hn.” He let out.
“Thought of a name yet?” She asked suddenly which caused him to raise his head from his paper. “Well yes…” he mumbled and that did shock his wife a little. “Well?” She inquired and he looked over at her. “Sarada. Sarada Uchiha.” He proposed and she nodded immediately. “It’s perfect.”
He smiled contently and started writing to Kakashi saying they’ll be a little late due to some last minute plans. “I’m shocked we kept it a secret for this long.” She hummed which caused him to nod. “It’s a pretty big secret.” He agreed.

The two were ready to set off as Sarada was all cozied up in her mother’s arms. “Thank you for everything Karin.” She said kindly and bowed her head in appreciation.
She waved her hand and laughed. “Don’t worry. I’m glad I was there for such an amazing moment. Isn’t that right Sara-chan?” She cooed which cause the little girl the glance over at her.
“Thank you Karin.” Sasuke suddenly said as well and that caused her to blush profusely. “Ahh! Get outta here! Stop giving me so much praise.” She quickly dismissed then causing Sakura to giggle.
The two soon made their way home and were ready to see their best friend and sensei.

“Sakura, it’s a little cold, we should put her under my cloak.” He said softly and she nodded in agreement, getting her situated on his arm then closing up the cloak.
“What a good papa you are.” She praised and kissed his cheek which caused his ears to redden.
Once they got closer, the gates were the first thing they saw and Sakura sighed contently just from the sight alone. Then came yellow hair which made her gasp and cover her mouth.
“SAKURA-CHANNNN!” He yelled ever so loudly and waved obnoxiously before the two engulfed each other in the tightest hug known to man.
Kakashi looked at Sasuke and did his signature hand wave. “Yo.” He smiled under his mask.
“So, so! Did you guys finally get together or something? You were gone for ages!” Naruto smiled and Sakura turned around to show him the symbol on her back. “We actually got married.”
The blonde’s jaw dropped in shock then looked at Kakashi who merely just shrugged. “They had to get the approval from someone.” The hokage smirked which caused him to whine. “You knew and didn’t tell me!” He yelled before the Uchiha’s shushed him aggressively.
“What? It’s not like anyone is out here. Relax for once Teme.” He pouted which caused Sasuke to roll his eyes.
Kakashi squinted then pointed at his arm under the cloak. “Hm?” He hummed in an inquiring tone which Sakura soon revealed the raven haired baby under the fabric.
The hokage’s eyebrows raised in shocked while the blonde had teared up at the sight.
“A-A baby?” Naruto asked shakily and approached carefully. “You had a baby?…” he whispered now and looked closely. Sakura nodded happily and looked down at her daughter. “A little girl…”
Kakashi then looked up at Sasuke who had the happiest look in his eyes. ‘You finally have what you’ve always wanted.’, the silver haired man thought to himself.
“WE had a baby idiot.” Sasuke corrected his best friend unamused which cause him their sensei to let out a laugh. They all looked at him curiously and he put his hands in his pockets before approaching the newborn. “What a cutie she is.”
