Chapter 1
Bloom’s Birthday
Once upon a time in a kingdom far, far away there lived a king Queen who had two beautiful daughters and today was the day of Bloom 5th birthday which she was looking forward to speanding with her sister just like her last couple of birthdays.
Bloom was sitting on the windowseat in her room looking out the window waiting for Daphne her big sister as Daphne had promised to take her out for the day to the park.
As it started to get near 12 o'clock in the afternoon the king and Queen decided they had to do something that would take Blooms mind off of her sister not showing up, Queen Miriam knocked on Blooms opened door before entering "Bloom dear your father and I are going out to see an old family friend that we're to meet at the park coming Daphne is probaly already there o-r is on her way to the park"
"Okay mommy coming" Bloom said as she got up off of the windowseat and walked over to the the bottom of her bed and put on her pink shoes that matched her dress that she had on for her birthday. Once Bloom had her shoes on and grabbed her light blue jacket she followed her mother back out of her room and down the stairs to meet her father in the throne room before they where to leave for the park.
An hour later Bloom and her parents arrived at the park Queen Miriam let Bloom go of to the swings while she and Oritel sat at a table and chairs and looked around for their friend who had just got to the park five minutes after them and sat down next to Miriam "Hello Miriam Oritel how are you and the girls" the friend asked
"Hello Faragonda we're all fine but Bloom is a little upset with Daphne just now as she was meant to be going with Daphne to the park but Daphne has yet to turn up" Miriam said as she called Bloom back over to them so that she could have something to eat.
"Bloom honey your father and I would like you to meet M.S Faragonda she is the headmisstress at Alfea the school that you will be going to in a few years time" Miriam said while Faragonda was trying to get over the shock that Bloom was her moms double when she was little.
"Hi Bloom may I ask how old you are"
"I'm 5 years old today is my birthday, Daphne said she would take me out for it but she didn't"
"wow 5 years old that's a big number and that makes you a big girl and do you know what big girls get"
"What" Bloom said as she looked into M.S Faragonda's eyes
"They get a special gift" M.S Faragonda said as she handed Bloom a box that had a ribbon on it
"Here you are Bloom, go on open it and happy birthday"
Bloom looked at her parents then up at M.S Faragonda and then back at the box in her hands before taking off the ribbon and opened the box as she opened the box she noticed something silver inside she opened the box up more to see what it was and it was a sliver heart shaped lockette.
“Thank you M.S Faragonda I love it can you help me put it on” Bloom asked as she held up the necklace.
“Of course my dear” M.S Faragonda said as she took the necklace and place it around Blooms neck.
“Thank you again M.S Faragonda I promise to never take it off" Bloom said as she put her hand to the heart and closed her hand around it.
"You're very welcome my dear, but sadly it time for me to go but I will see you in a few years at Alfea, Miriam, Oritel it was lovely to see you again but I really must go" M.S Faragonda said as she stood up and gave Bloom and Miriam a hug goodbye and then shake hand with Oritel before leaving.
"Yes it's late Miriam we should be get home too, so that Bloom can go to bed she looks like she is getting tired" Oritel said as she he stood and walked over to Bloom and life her into his arms so that he could carry her back home.
"Daddy put me down I'm ... not .... tired" Bloom tried to say through her yawns before wrapping her little arms around her dad neck while resting her head on his shoulder.
"Sure honey just rest" he said with a little laugh as he put his hand on her back and started rubbing it, Once Oritel was sure that she was resting he put the hand that was on blooms back on Miriams as the small family walked home from the park.
Once Bloom and her parents where home Oritel carried Bloom straight up to her room and placed her on the bed then went over to the wardrobe for Bloom's night clothes but waited for Miriam to enter the room before leaving so that his wife could change Bloom into her night clothes.
When Queen Miriam was sure Bloom was okay and fast asleep she made her way out of the room closing the door over as she went and made her way back downstairs to the sitting room, Miriam had just gotten to the bottom of the stairs when the Palace doors swung open and then closed again but with a loud bang. Oirtel came running out of his study to see what the noise was but all he saw was his wife sitting on the floor next to his oldest daughter hugging her and crying.
"Miriam dear what's wrong why are you crying and Daphne where have you been all day" as he walked over and got down next to his wife and daughter.
"Dad I'm sorry for missing Blooms birthday today, I was on my way here to pick bloom up when someone came up behind me and knocked me out" Daphne said as she pulled away from her mother and looked at her father before trying to hide again because of the bruises on her face.
"Honey we're not mad at you we were worried about you when you didn't show to pick Bloom up for your sisters day out Bloom was quite upset aswell but don't worry about it too much" Miriam said as she pulled Daphne back in to her arms.
"Your mother is right don't worry about it now come on lets get you up stairs so that you can rest we can talk more in the morning okay" Oritel told his daughter as he hugged her before letting her go upstairs with her mother.
"Good night dad" Daphne said quietly as she made her way uptake stairs to her room with her mother.
