Fruity Kisses

Summary:

Streamer Genie– or AKA, Han Yoojin has led a pretty obscure life. None of his viewers had managed to dig up his real identity as Han Yoohyun's (the Guild Leader of Haeyeon Guild) brother and significant other of the most powerful S-Rank hunter in Korea, Sung Hyunjae's boyfriend. That is until one day, a certain blondie paid a visit to Yoojin's live stream.

TLDR: S-Rank Hunter Sung Hyunjae x Streamer Yoojin

Notes:

Just here to sprinkle some tooth-rotting fluff for the fandom.

Work Text:

Yoojin crouched under the bushes, waiting for the enemy to approach for an ambush. He had on an invisibility potion for precaution, so as not to give off any clues about where he was in the enemy’s camp. Making sure his guns were fully loaded and ready to go, he peered from within the mass of leaves. The enemy soldiers were strolling freely about, throwing potion bombs at mob monsters that come their way, oblivious to Yoojin’s position.

“In about… 3, 2, 1! Go!” He jumped out of his hiding spot, guns ablaze. The metal shells of the bullets fell to the ground in rapid succession, the bullets soaring through the air and landing on their purposed destination. Yoojin grinned, doing a little taunting dance over their dead bodies. “Enemy camp, Helix, is wiped out!” He said into his headset. With a swerve of his mouse, he equipped his flying device to move to the next destination to meet up with his teammates.

User 2891291: Poggggg

Peaceisda_best: Jinnie’s 8th solo kill!!!!!!

SHJ.STAN: Wtf! Helix got wiped out in the first hour?!

Sunflowerkisses: That’s our Jinnie!

JennietheHenny: Just joined and saw something jaw-dropping?!

Comments flooded the livestream chat box as Yoojin’s character flew through the battlefield. Yoojin was live streaming as usual on a game he was most well-known for. Similar to Fortnite, the game he was streaming was a Korean-developed battle royale. It boasts players worldwide in the first month of its release and even reached a billion players before its first-year anniversary. Yoojin was one of those people that had adopted the game early in its Beta-testing stage. Given early access, he was one of those streamers that aired the long-anticipated game on his channel– which had probably caused his rise to fame.

Han Yoojin, more known as Genie (his viewers love to tease him by calling him ‘Jinnie’), was one of the most popular streamers on StarTV Live. From horror games to silly dating games for girls, he was a great variety game streamer. People tend to come into his live streams just for laughs, but always leave dumbfounded by his unexpected refreshing handsomeness. He always looked good. Be it when he smiles, or when he rages against his keyboard from a lost game.

“That was easy. Helix? Are they popular?” He glanced at his chat. Instantly, a barrage of comments scrolled past. “Jeez, slow down! I’ll be putting the chat on subscribers-only mode.”

“So, Helix? They’re top 5 in ranked?” Yoojin raised a brow, internally thinking they weren’t much of a difficult kill. It definitely was a skill to talk to ‘no one’. Disregarding the thousands of people in his live stream, it couldn’t beat talking to someone face-to-face. Many streamers couldn’t get over this barrier of speaking to ‘air’ and failed in their career early on. Even if there were not a single soul in his live stream chat, he needed to make conversation– and he made sure to do so on his very first day streaming. His bright and straightforward personality captured the hearts of both female and male viewers alike. The female viewers stayed for his looks, the male viewers stayed for his dominating play style.

“Then, I’ll bring our Team Pluto to first place!” He chuckled, meaning nothing much behind his words.

Jupiter_Sun: I call BS.

BabyJinnie: Let him eat his words TT

Scrapped: LLLLLL

“I’m just kidding– Oh, crap.” Gun shots could be heard from below, and his parachute’s endurance started dwindling. The green bar turned a bright orange, and dangerously near red.

Bloomfairy: HAHAHA karma?

Dolphinn: Omg no, karma hit back too soon TT

Thousands of his viewers typed in RIP in the chat. With that many RIPs, it couldn’t help but tick off the hot-tempered Yoojin. He clicked his tongue, steering out of the spray of bullets. “Shit,” He cussed– which made his viewers’ blood boil with excitement. There were many different types of fandoms. Ones with docile and supportive viewers, whose live streamers’ chats would always be filled with positivity, or fandoms like his, which were filled with viewers that want to see him suffer. Playful taunts were always thrown around Yoojin and his chat, which made things fun. But when things got too toxic, he’d always automatically permanently ban them.

He made an emergency landing. He had no choice but to unequip the flying device and find a new one nearby. However, he had to land at an enemy camp. The team had 3 players situated near their temporary flag. It was an item that dictated the area they claimed as theirs and also had a healing property. It would detect invaders and ping the team members of the enemy’s location.

“3 v 1… This is gonna be tight… Damn Hulk450 for wanting to split up.” He cursed, equipping his best gun. His body landed in a thud on the forest ground, a pile of leaves under him billowing out and fluttering around him. Even with the visual distractions, he charged forward to take shelter behind a thick tree, just in time before a bullet almost grazed his ear. “God damn, the graphics really make me jump–

Before he could complete his sentence, a heavy hand landed on his shoulder, making his soul jump out of his body. His mouse swerved, and his view landed in the wrong direction, away from the enemies ahead.

“AH, fuck! Who–

“Babe,” Sung Hyunjae gave a cryptic smile as he stood beside Yoojin with his hand still on his boyfriend’s shoulder. He had a plate of cut fruits in his other hand.

“You– I’m still live streaming!” Yoojin’s eyes darted to the camera mounted on the top of his main monitor. He was sure the bottom half of Hyunjae’s upper body was in the frame. He couldn’t push him out of the way, in fear of someone commenting, much less bursting out in case he said something people shouldn’t hear.

“You’re being too loud. Here, have some fruits.” Hyunjae’s golden pupils darkened in mischievousness as he held the fork to Yoojin’s mouth. “Babe– no, I can’t! I’m dying here!”

Callme_Euna: BABE?! JINNIE HAS A BOYFRIEND?!

Mossball: BOYFRIEND REVEAL

Glockinmysock: boyfriend? Ew, f*g

Glockinmysock’s has been auto-banned by the moderators

GreenHamNEggs: Um, the game…

Mymusictasteisbad: Bruh, your health bar’s in the red

Hyunjae was adamant about feeding the younger male the apple though. Pushing the cubed fruit into those plump lips, he forced the streamer to eat.

“Oh god, shoot.” Yoojin turned back to his screen, deciding to forget the existence of the S-rank hunter beside him for a second. Swivelling his camera view back to the front, he left-clicked to drink a potion before rolling out of his already-found hiding spot. He first threw a grenade at the enemy on his left, distracting the fellow before finding another vantage point. Thank god they spread out far. It gave him some chance to flit around his hiding spots without all of them noticing at once. He then switched to a longer ranged rifle, before blasting a few rounds into the body of the enemy. With one teammate down, the other two were in confusion.

“They’re not as coordinated as I thought. This will be– Mmph,” Another apple reached his lips and he automatically opened his mouth to take it in. “This will be easy.” Yoojin chewed, as he took his character nearer to the enemy he just threw a grenade at. The grenade had brought down his health to a nice orange. Before the enemy player could down a green potion, he threw another. An impish laughter bubbled up from Yoojin as he grinned at his screen.

“I’m going to bomb him to death.”

“Don’t talk with your mouth full.” Hyunjae reminded him, making his presence sorely known. Yoojin shrug the hand off his shoulder before throwing another grenade– and soon, the opposing player’s health bar fell to an obsolete. “We can do this!” Yoojin tightened his grip on his mouse, his palms already sweating from his nerves.

Bloomfairy: Your boyfriend’s still here????

SHJ.STAN: UM…

Mossball: LESGO!

MrWellPlayed: Kinda unbelievable, does the streamer use a cheat bot?

Kiko: EZZZZ

Yoojin moved forward, the last enemy player was just to the right of him. A bullet hit his arm which helped the black-haired streamer in figuring out the enemy’s location. Even though the forest was thick with lush greenery and everything seemed to blend together, gunfire doesn’t lie. And most beginners tend not to move after shooting– which gives off their location easily. Throwing a grenade in the direction, he waited a couple of seconds before seeing the enemy health bar pop up, which meant he had managed to hit the player. Before charging forward, he drank a health potion to get his health bar to a healthy green.

Equipping his handgun, he fired a shot at the figure emerging from the smoke. The fight wasn’t easy. The enemy player was definitely the best in the team. Despite firing a whole bullet case into the air, the health bar in front of him only went down to the obnoxious orange. He did note that the player did not have any more green potions on him, which was a plus– but he had to figure out how to get that slippery bastard.

“Maybe I need to get up the tree. This guy’s like a sna–

Another piece of fruit was pushed to his lips, this time a mango. He clicked his tongue, shooting a quick glare at Sung Hyunjae. His cheeky smile has yet to be wiped off his blindingly handsome face. “You’re doing this on purpose, right, you stinking ahju– ERHEM.” He cleared his throat before he said anything else that out divulge the existence of the man beside him.

Yoojin turned back to his game. He willed his character to climb up the vines on the side of a thick tree. The forest was filled with ferns and vines, making it easy to camouflage and travel through the terrain in the air. Many players would use the trees as an advantage when it comes to battle, however, not many can balance and get their viewfinder right high up in the air. His camera panned for a while, before stopping over the enemy player sporting a white dress shirt and mini skirt. He carried a bright pink bayonet, clueless to the danger above. “Score!” Yoojin cheered as he aimed his sniper rifle at the opposing player and gave his viewers a sweet headshot. Cheers erupted in the chat as he swung down the tree with the vines.

“Easy kill. I still have to find a flying device to get to Area 21. Maybe, let’s head– Mmph!” A dark shadow covered his vision and before he could realize what was happening, he felt soft sweet lips on his. His entire body froze, his fear kicking in. Oh god, they were on camera! He parted his lips to say something, but the blonde took things further and stuck his tongue in. He was going to get banned– no, scratch that, that was the last of his worries. He was going to get hunted down for dating the nation’s boyfriend– Sung Hyunjae, the Guild Leader of Seseong, the top S-Rank hunter in the Asia region and the man that held the most power in Korea! Panic ensued as he pushed the hunter away, eyes full-blown in fear.

SHJ.STAN: WAIT. I’M DREAMING? I’M NOT DREAMING? WHERE AM I?

BabyJinnie: Is whom I’m seeing, the person I’m really seeing? Huh?

User12832: Shit, that’s Sung Hyunjae.

User23901: I recognize that platinum blonde hair anywhere.

Holyberry: F**K!! SH*T!!!

The stream exploded. Even the anonymous viewers were commenting in the chat box. The numbers increased rapidly in mere seconds– a number that even the top streamer of StarTV Live platform could never imagine… and all just for a certain blonde man.

“Fuck! I’m streaming!” He nudged his boyfriend aside, turning off the camera. Yoojin backed away from his desk in disbelief. “What did you just do?” He groaned, burying his head in his hands. His viewers barely knew his first or even real name. They all knew him as Genie. He had started when he was a teen, and in his adulthood, he had assimilated into his persona as a popular live streamer. He was recognized in public by fans, but none of them ever found out about his personal connections. He had not exposed the fact that he was Han Yoojin and shared the same blood as the 2nd most powerful S-Rank in Korea. He had wanted to go with the flow and keep it that way. However, knowing he was Han Yoohyun’s brother was on a totally different scale compared to people knowing he was dating Sung Hyunjae of Seseong Guild! This was a death flag! He could imagine the hordes of diehard fangirls storming his live stream room every time he turns on the camera. He could even bet they’d stream-snipe his games and beat him to death in the arena!

“It’s fine, babe. It’s time for them to know.” Hyunjae pried one of Yoojin’s hands away from his face, bringing it to his lips. He placed a soft kiss on his callous-free palms. Unlike Hyunjae’s, the gamer’s hands were smooth and soft like tofu. A dark spark of possessiveness could be seen from within those golden orbs.

“They’re gonna kill me. Don’t think I don’t know about your crazy ‘girlfriends’.”

“If they dare to lay a hand on you, they’ll know what hell has in store for them.” Hyunjae picked up another hand, placing a kiss once more.

“Why now though?”

“Well, let’s just say… You have a number of fangirls of yours as well.” Hyunjae rubbed his face against Yoojin’s wrist, feeling the slight thrum of his blood pumping against his cold cheekbones.

“You’re just jealous?” Yoojin hissed, pulling back his hands. He stood up from his swivel chair, to meet Hyunjae’s height– but failed to do so. His head reached the male Adonis’s chest. He had wanted to look intimidating, but now he felt inadequate to do so. He clicked his tongue, giving the man a sneer.

“Baby, you know how it is…” The S-rank pulled the younger male closer, leaning down to give him a peck to ask for forgiveness.

Sunflowerkisses: Um, Jinnie ah, you’re unmuted

CorgiButt: HAHAHA UNMUTED

BabyJinnie: We heard everything RIP

LukewarmAirconditioning: Eww

TeacherSong: Sung Hyunjae being jealous????

Han Yoohyun: HYUNG?! WHY IS THAT B*STARD THERE NOW? I’M COMING OVER.

Han Yoohyun: F**K THAT C**T THAT B*STARD

Han Yoohyun has been auto-banned by the system

DrinkTea: TFFFFF?!

ItsalwaysSelly: THAT HANYOOHYUN? WHY IS HE IN THE CHAT?!

“Oh, fu– Jeez, you damn old perv, get out for a moment,” Yoojin noticed the crazy barrage across his screen and the ominous ‘ANNIHILATED’ animation on his main monitor. But everyone wasn’t focusing on the game right now, they were more interested in their conversation, which was apparently, airing for a few hundred thousand viewers.

“Oh my god, y’all, I have to end stream right now. Sorry for the abrupt end to the stream. I promise to double the hours for my next stream tomorrow. Bye!” Yoojin said his piece before turning off the ‘live’ button. He logged off his game, but not before noticing the sudden flood of friend requests. Groaning, he turned back to the sly snake behind him, shooting him an accusing glare.

He can’t wait for tomorrow’s stream. But first, he needed to give a certain S-Rank hunter a beating– and also deal with another coming his way in about 20 minutes…
