Chapter Text
Liam point of view:
Liam Payne smiled to himself as he watched the fans from the window of his car. It had been 9 years since the band went there own ways each of them doing there solo careers. He couldn't begin to explain how proud he was to watch Louis, Niall, Harry and even Zayn's career.
"You okay?" Asked Liam's driver making him smile "yeah I'm fine I guess I'm remembering the old days" he said making his driver chuckle "I'm proud of you kiddo it's been a pleasure watching you grow up" he said making Liam's smile grow "thanks Bobby" he said softly turning his attention back to the fans who were cheering it's like they could smell him and no doubt the rest of the boys that are either coming soon or are already here.
After a few more moments Bobby stopped the car he turned around giving Liam a smile "you ready rockstar?" He asked with a teasing smile making Liam laugh shaking his head fondly "always" he said finally opening the car door his smile growing as there fans cheered he wish he could explain how greateful he was towards his fans if it wasn't for them the boys wouldn't of been able to do what they did.
He made his way into the red rug waving and smiling as the fans screamed, shouting doing anything to get his attention. He went over to a couple fans taking some pictures with them as well as signing a few items. "We love you Liam" the fans yelled making him chuckle "I love you guys too" he said giving them one last smile before making his way further down to an interviewer.
"Liam how does it feel to be back with the other boys and the fans?" She asked holding a microphone "it's aboutestly amazing it's hard to believe that it's been 9 years since we took a break doing our own things so it's nice to come back with the guys and be able to perform together again" he said he looked around when he heard the fans screaming once again he smiled as he watched the youngest member of the band Harry Styles get out of his car already flashing his million dollar smile.
The interviewer smile "I'll let you go so you can go greet Harry" she said making Liam smile "thank you your the best" he said kissing her cheek before turning around making his way towards Harry. He couldn't believe this man standing in front of him was the baby of the band he grew up into this handsome man that stood in front of him smiling at the fans.
Harry hadn't noticed Liam just yet giving Liam a few more minutes of admiring his friend. It didn't take long before Harry looked around soon noticing Liam looking at him. "Liam Payne" he said making his way closer to Liam "in a flesh" he said with a soft laugh he knew he wasn't the best at staying in touch with the other boys of the band he didn't know what to say to them anymore. He fell into a deep depression cutting everyone out of his life which sadly that also meant Harry, Louis, and Niall.
Harry smiled before he pulled Liam into a tight hug Liam let out a deep breath hugging Harry back happily. "Missed you" harry said softly pulling back from the hug touching Liam cheek "missed you too harry I'm sorry I didn't stay in touch" Liam said hating himself that he let himself loose touch with four of the most important people in his life.
Harry shook his head "don't worry about it Liam just don't do it again" he playfully threaten making Liam laugh "I won't" he said smacking Harry's shoulder. "Where do you think the other boys are?" Harry asked looking around "I don't know probably being fashionably late" he teased making Harry laugh "that screams Louis and Niall definitely" he said wrapping his arms around Liam's shoulder smiling as fans took a bunch of pictures.
Louis point of view:
Louis sighed fixing his hair he couldn't believe he was so late "there gonna give us so much shit" Niall said making Louis laugh "your telling me we're never gonna hear the end of it" said Louis "it's hard to believe it's been nine years" said Niall running his fingers through his brown hair he still wasn't gonna be dying his hair anytime soon. "It seems like a life time ago" Louis said softly he always knew the boys would reunite to do more music together he just didn't understand why it took them so long to do the reunion.
"Do you think Payno will be there?" Niall asked with a frown he like Harry and Louis was worried about Liam he had seen Liam in the interviews he's done since the band split everytime he saw one of these interviews and Liam always seemed a little off you could tell Liam was struggling but everytime he tried to reach out to Liam he either didn't answer or told him that he was fine. But Niall could see through his bullshit he knew his brother well enough to know that Liam was going through some issues he just wish that Liam would reach out to them.
Louis nodded "Harry already texted me Liam was the first there" he said showing the selfie that Harry had sent him earlier of him and Liam. "He still looks off" Niall said softly frowning at the picture taking Louis phone zooming in on Liam's face. He could tell Liam wasn't his usual happy self that he remembered on tour so long ago. Louis nodded "I know I noticed it the minute I saw the picture Harry sent I don't think Harry noticed yet" he said taking his phone back.
"Liam knows how to play him" Niall said bitterly "none of that this is supposed to be a happy reunion we can literature Liam later" Louis said making Niall nod soon the last two boys of the band arrived they could hear the fans cheering and screaming Louis opened his door his smile growing he'd never get tried of this the screams got even louder when Niall exited the car as well. "I'm surprised none of us are deaf" Niall joked making Louis laugh. "Let's see if we can find Liam and Harry" he said grabbing Niall arm making his way through the crowds of people looking for his brothers.
"There they are!" Yelled Niall spotting Harry he quickly let go of Louis making a dash to Harry "Niall!" Yelled Harry hugging his friend happily Louis followed behind noticing Liam took a few steps back watching Harry and Niall hug. Louis frown slightly he almost felt like he didn't know his friend anymore and he hated that fact.
Louis quickly made his way to Liam's side hugging him so tight he was surprised he didn't break one of Liam's ribs. "Missed you Payno" he said softly pulling back to kiss Liam's cheek "missed you too Louis" he said softly offering him a weak smile making Louis frown he hated that Liam seemed to go back to how he was on the X-Factor.
"Come here Liam" Niall said finally letting go of Harry holding his arms out for Liam to hug him. Louis watched Liam slowly making his way to Niall hugging him softly while Niall hugged him just as tightly as Louis had hugged him a few minutes before while Louis hugged Harry happily.
Liam's point of view
Liam hated that he felt the way he did he hated that depression caused him to push away these boys but what he hated more was the fact he didn't know how to act around Niall, Harry, and Louis.
"You okay?" Asked Niall pulling back from the hug making him nod "I'm okay" he said softly offering Niall a fake smile knowing that Niall could see past his bullshit smile. The boys knew him to well that they didn't fall for his bullshit. After taking some more pictures Liam quickly made his way into the building he needed to get away from everything for a minute he felt like he was trapped and needed a breather. He soon found a bathroom locking the door behind him he let out a sharp breathe allowing himself to slide down to the floor. Maybe I shouldn't of come he thought to himself resting his head against his knees.
