Chapter Text

“Doremi Chan? Doremi Chan? Hey Doremi Chan?” A voice sounded off as a girl with red hair was shook by one of her classmates. The girl soon sat her head up from her spot at her desk and looked confused.

“Huh?” Doremi questions as she opens her eyes slightly as she sees a girl with short brown hair chuckling as she shakes her.

“Doremi Chan, you fell asleep before class again.” The girl says as Doremi looks up alarmed and sighs. “Oh right, hehe sorry Kayoko Chan.” Doremi says giggling while scratching her cheek as the girl sat down in her seat next to her.

“It’s no problem. I am used to it with you at this point. Although, I should ask, did you have trouble sleeping last night?” She questions as Doremi sighs.

“Ehh a little but I’m fine. Although I don’t like that today is Monday.” Doremi says as her brown haired friend chuckled. “Yeah, you don’t like any days that end in Y it seems.” Kayoko jokes as Doremi frowns.

“Hey that’s not true I mean I like Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and umm oh yeah whatever day it is that my mom makes us steak!” Doremi says as her eyes go wide thinking of the delicious food. Menwhile, Kayoko giggles at her friend.

“I'm glad to hear that since I heard a rumor we might have steak with udon for lunch today.” Kayoko says as Doremi looks at her with pure delight.

“Really??! YAY! Middle school lunches really are the best!!” Doremi shouts with delight as everyone in class looks at the girl as she soon blushes and sits down at her seat. “Well that’s true but I also heard another fun rumor.” Kayoko tells Doremi as she looks at her interest.

“Oh tell me!” Doremi says enthusiastically as Kayoko giggles. “Well it might not be as good to you as steak for lunch but I heard that we might have a new student coming today. Laurentia Sensei mentioned something about it when I passed by her in the halls.” Kayoko says as Doremi looks interested.

“A new student that’ll be fun.” Doremi said as Kayoko nodded. “Yep. It’ll be nice to have someone else who transferred from another school. The last one we had was Momoko Chan and she was really fun to get to know.” Kayoko says as Doremi looks down a bit before shaking her head and nodding.

“Oh yeah Momo Chan..” Doremi says as Kayoko looks at her and frowns. “Oh..Doremi Chan..” Kayoko says as she gives a sad, concerned look before the door to the class opens as the teacher walks in canceling the conversation.

“Good morning everyone!” Laurita says as everyone in class smiles at her. “Good morning sensei!” Everyone chants. Laurentia sensei was a far cry from the teachers that the students in Misora Elementary were used to. She was not as intense as Seki Sensei but also not as light on her students as Nishizawa Sensei.

To students like Doremi and even Kayoko she was just right, even if she still had too much energy at times for an early Monday morning. Still as she walked to the board she gave everyone a cheerful smile.

“Today we have wonderful news students. As of today we have a brand new student.” Laurentia says as everyone in the class started whispering and stirring about this news. “Now, everyone calm down. You will meet him in a few seconds but I must say beforehand please do be kind to him. We all have had situations of being the new kid and we all should be nice and kind no matter what.” She says kindly as everyone nods as Kayoko and Doremi smile at each other for it. Once she says that though she smiles at her class and turns to the doorway.

“You may come in now, Yoshino San.” Laurentia says as the door slides open as a boy enters and smiles at the class. He was rather handsome although gave off a more pretty vibe as he had nicely done purple hair with only a small bit of hair sticking up in the front.

His eyes shone with bright purple as his tan skin made him look very different from other boys his age and his kind smile melted the hearts of many girls who viewed him. He wore the school uniform of a white button up, blue tie with blue pants and the school's recommended shoes.

As he faced everyone though, Doremi's heart beat increased. Not just from the attraction she felt at seeing such a pretty handsome boy, but also..because she recognized him. “Akatsuki Kun!” Doremi says happily as she particularly bursts from her seat as everyone in class looks at her as the boy looks to her as well. Though with a very big smile on his face and a slight blush.

“Hello again, Doremi Chan.” The boy says kindly as Doremi soon blushes realizing everyone was now looking at her. “Oh Harukaze San, you know Yoshino San?” Laurentia questions as Doremi blushes but nods. “Oh yes..I met Akatsuki Kun a few years ago..” Doremi says with a blush as her teacher nods.

“That’s wonderful to hear. Oh but please give your introduction for those who may not know you, Yoshino San.” Laurentia says as Akatsuki nods. “Hello everyone my name is Akatsuki Yoshino. I just moved here recently from my past middle school in the countryside near Nara and Kyoto. I have been around Misora in the past but I do hope I can make this place my new home. As such I hope we can all be friends.” Akatsuki said with a bow as the class cheered although mostly the girls but even the guys seemed to be happy with his kind friendly introduction.

Doremi however, just looked at the boy and smiled as he looked back and smiled at her. As he finished Laurentia spoke up. “Very good, Yoshino San. Now then you may sit next to Nagato San.” She says as Akatsuki nods and sits next to Kayoko as she smiles at him as he does as well although Doremi sneaks a few glances at the boy before the class lecture begins.

But all throughout the day it seemed the boy was flocked by just about everyone in the class. Be it the boys asking him if he liked sports or trying to befriend him or the girls seeming to throw themselves at him each wanting a piece of the boy.

It made Doremi giggle at how popular the boy was without anyone even knowing he was the Wizard World’s prince. At the same time it frustrated her to once again be so close to the boy and yet fate continued to prevent them from exchanging anything but a smile or a hi at each other throughout the day.

This naturally caused the red haired girl to be sad as even after school he was hounded by the classmates. As such she took the long walk home with Kayoko with a forlorn expression. Fortunately, Kayoko was there to lighten the mood.

“It’s okay Doremi Chan, I am sure you will be able to talk with Yoshino San some other time this week.” Kayoko says as Doremi smiles at her friends.

“That’s true, I’m just bummed since I never got to talk to Akatsuki Kun today, besides when he introduced himself. It feels like it did when we saw each other two years ago and I barely talked to him then either.” Doremi says sighing although she also smiles a bit as she remembered the nice but brief meetings on the trip to Kyoto.

As well as meeting him again to save his world from Majo Tourbillon and her brambles of sorrow. And then when he and the other wizards happily returned the favor when Majo Tourbillon and her brambles of sorrow appeared in their town.

But after that she had not seen the boy again. Then again she hadn’t seen anyone from the Wizard or Witch World since she and the others gave up the chance to be witches not too long ago. But before she could think of that she shook her head.

“No!” She chidded herself internally. “I can’t be thinking like that. Not again..” Doremi thinks before Kayoko breaks her out of her mental funk as she seems to say something as Doremi looks back at her. “Sorry Kayoko Chan, can you say that again?” Doremi questions as the girl sighs but smiles.

“I was asking how you two met. I know from what you told me that the field trip meeting wasn’t the first time, so how did you two meet the first time if he’s from the countryside?” Kayoko asks as Doremi smiles.

“Oh that well it was when I first started to take care of Hana Chan with the others. He visited the shop and we got to meet that way and we even went on a date the next day.” Doremi says with pride as Kayoko chuckles. “That sounds nice. But I wonder why he would have come all the way here if he lived in the countryside before?” Kayoko questions as Doremi opens her mouth before pausing.

Suddenly painful memories resurfaced of her encounter with him and his friends in the Witch World. Especially the stoic and rather unfriendly image of him and the FLAT4 floating above her and her friends. These memories played in her head as she shook her head.

“No he isn’t like that anymore..besides..” Doremi thinks as she remembers him walking up to her. Hana Chan in hand as he not only gives her back but then the two happily laugh together.

“He’s different now.” Doremi thinks before she smiles at Kayoko. “He was just visiting the city to see the sites and also see the type of flowers we had.” Doremi said as Kayoko nodded. A very specific flower but Doremi couldn't tell Kayoko that.

Still she smiled at being able to talk about this with someone about him. It had been two years since she had done so with Hana San when they were sent to her world. Still back then it was more painful even with her friend comforting her but now it felt nice.

Even if she still wanted to repair that friendship the two once had, no matter what fate had in store with them. And with that fulfill her promise to Hana San from back then for things to work out between them.

Although thinking back to then Doremi frowned, Hana San and the other Hugtto Pretty Cures were so nice to be with that one day but they never got to see them again. Mostly because Hana Chan soon would turn into her older self and break her crystals in the process.

She hoped Hugttan and the others wouldn’t be sad with that. Then again as superheroes they probably had more stuff on their plate, than playdates.

And it’s not like they were the only ones Doremi didn’t have around her anymore. Yet before she could think of that any further, she was interrupted by a familiar voice in the distance.

“Doremi Chan!” Akatsuki called out as she and Kayoko stopped in their tracks as the velvet prince happily ran up to them. “Akatsuki Kun!” Doremi says surprised as the boy gives her a kind smile. “Sorry about before. Everyone was overwhelming me with questions that I hadn't even noticed you left school. I actually wanted to talk with you a little after school if that’s okay.” Akatsuki says as Doremi smiles.

“Oh of course, yeah that would be awesome!” Doremi says with a slight blush as Akatsuki smiles before looking at Kayoko as she smiles at him. “Oh where are my manners, my name is Kayoko Nagato. It’s nice to meet you, Yoshino San.” She says as Akatsuki nods.

“Likewise Nagato San.” He says as Doremi smiles. “Kayoko Chan was someone I met in 5th grade and since then me and her have been best friends.” Doremi explains as she wraps an arm around her friend as she smiles as the boy smiles along with his friend.

“I see that’s nice. I think I remember seeing you briefly during my school’s field trip to Nara.” Akatsuki says as Kayoko nods. “Yeah I think I recall you as well. Well also your three other friends, especially that blond guy who challenged Aiko Chan to a table tennis match and lost spectacularly.” Kayoko notes bluntly as Akatsuki chuckles.

“You're not wrong. Leon Kun was biting more than he could chew from that.” Akatsuki says as Kayoko nods. “Well then I’ll leave you to talk in private then.” Kayoko says as Doremi looks at her with a frown. “Oh Kayoko Chan, you don’t have to go.” Doremi says as Kayoko smiles.

“No, I can tell you two wanna catch up and I don’t want to intrude. Besides, I have homework to do when I get home.” Kayoko says as Doremi smiles. “Okay thank you Kayoko Chan see you tomorrow!” Doremi says happily as Akatsuki nods.

“It was nice to meet you, Nagato San.” Akatsuki says as Kayoko smiles. “Same to you Yoshino San! Have a nice day you two.” She says waving them goodbye as the two stand there with Akatsuki smiling at Doremi.

“So I guess we can head to the park if you want. We can talk there easier. Also cause I don’t think I showed you the park last time you were here.” Doremi says blushing as she takes the boy's hand as he looks a bit flustered but smiles. “Okay Doremi Chan, lead the way.” Akatsuki says as the two head off to the park.

Once seated on a bench though the two sat in a hit of silence unsure of how to start their conversation. So Doremi started with something small. “So umm Akatsuki Kun..I guess I should start by asking how you got to go to school here in Misori. I thought your father was against it.” Doremi says as Akatsuki nods.

“He was for a bit..even after we had gone to school on Earth for two years. But last semester I guess something in him changed. He knew that me and the FLAT4 being together for as long as we were was kinda keeping us from branching out. Sure we met and became friends with people at our new school, but it was never gonna improve us without..” Akatsuki says as Doremi finishes.

“Splitting you up?” Doremi questions as Akatsuki nods. This causes the girl to frown but the boy soon gives her a reassuring smile. “But it’s fine. If anything we wanted to expand a little. Besides, we can always just see each other after school since we still live in the Wizard World.” Akatsuki says Doremi nods. “So where did the others go?” Doremi questioned.

“Well Leon Kun is currently going to a middle school in Osaka, so he’s probably with Ai Chan right now.” Akatsuki says as Doremi giggles. “I’m sure she’ll love that.” Doremi said jokingly before smiling. “Although today he will probably also meet Momo Chan. She’s still visiting us from her break because her school hasn’t started yet.” Doremi says as Akatsuki chuckles.

“You make a good point, Doremi Chan. But it shouldn’t be too bad, since Leon Kun has mellowed out a little these past few months. However, he still wishes to one day beat Ai Chan at something. So it should be fun to hear how that goes although hopefully he won’t interrupt her time with Momoko Chan.” Akatsuki says as Doremi nods. “That sounds about right and knowing Momo Chan, she’ll honestly enjoy it. So umm what about Tooru Kun?” Doremi questions.

“Tooru Kun wished to go to a performing arts school when he heard Onpu Chan was. But he never could get into hers due to his lack of accomplishments in the industry. Although, one audition he did impressed a popular dance couch named Maeda San. So now with his help he got into a rising star type of school nearby Onpu Chan’s school.” Akatsuki says as Doremi nods.

“That’s great for him. I remember last time watching him dance with Onpu Chan and even she was impressed by how much he improved. So it’s good he can keep it up.” Doremi says as Akatsuki nods. “Yeah his growth is pretty impressive although he still can’t sing to save his life, so classes on singing might help him too.” Akatsuki says as Doremi giggles.

“I’d hope so. My ears still hurt from the last time he sang.” Doremi says as Akatsuki smirks. “Try listening to him practice in the castle. I am still shocked that our windows haven’t completely shattered yet.” Akatsuki says as Doremi giggles and nods.

“Oh well, what about Fujio Kun?” Doremi questions. “He actually stayed in our old district just now in the Middle School.” Akatsuki says as Doremi looks at him confused. “Why did he choose that?” Doremi questioned. “Well Fujio Kun likes the countryside. He enjoys learning more and the schools around there actually have a good program and also a very big library. That was his favorite part.” Akatsuki explained as Doremi nodded.

“Yep. Although it sucks he’s alone without anyone. Then again if he tried to, he wouldn't be able to go to school near Hazuki Chan since she goes to an all girls school.” Doremi explained as Akatsuki nodded.

“That’s true but Fujio Kun actually has tried to stop talking about Hazuki Chan as much as he used to. I think he’s still embarrassed of his trumpet off with that green haired boy from your class.” Akatsuki explains as Doremi nods.

“That’s probably for the best. Hazuki Chan and Yada Kun well..they really do seem to like each other even if Hazuki Chan never is honest about it.” Doremi says as Akatsuki chuckles. “She does seem to be a bit shy with her feelings so that is rather understandable.” Akatsuki says as Doremi nods.

“So why did you choose here for your own school?” Doremi asked as Akatsuki smiled. “Well I missed this city. I had a lot of fun around here when I first visited and last time I visited it seemed to be the same fun city even with all that was going down. It’s why I was glad to save it with the others or at least try to.” Akatsuki says as Doremi nods.

“That’s fair. Thank you again for what you did. I still can’t believe everything went okay with Majo Tourbillon. But we wouldn’t have been able to do what we did without you guys helping us.” Doremi says with a smile and a blush as Akatsuki looks at her and nods blushing a bit. “It was nothing. We wanted to do it after you saved our world after all.” Akatsuki says as Doremi smiles.

“Although I will admit I decided to attend school here not just because of the city but also.. well..because I wanted to see you again, Doremi Chan.” Akatsuki says as Doremi blushes. “Akatsuki Kun.” Doremi says happily but her face turns as red as her hair as the boy gives her a worried look. “Sorry Doremi Chan..was that creepy?” Akatsuki questions as Doremi shakes her head.

“No, don't worry Akatsuki Kun! I..I am glad you're back. It’s nice to talk with you without anyone or anything interrupting us. Thankfully Kotakie Kun isn't in my class. Although when he hears about you transfering he might have you guys play that rematch.” Doremi says as Akatsuki smirks.

“If he wishes to, I will have a rematch with him. And like I said before this time I will be a real man and win without magic.” Akatsuki says as Doremi giggles.

“You're still on about that. Don’t worry I am not upset anymore. If anything at the time it was just overwhelming to have you two fight over me.” Doremi says with a blush as Akatsuki sighs.

“Well that’s a relief to hear.” he says as Doremi nods. “So um I guess my next question is where did your surname of Yoshino come from?” Doremi questions as Akatsuki smiles. “Oh that. Well when me and the others first came back to your world, Papa had us choose surnames so as to not arouse suspicion on our cover story and admission paperwork. Fujio Kun found this book that had common surnames and their meanings and each one of us chose one for our own that we liked. Fujio Kun went with Daigo meaning enlightenment, Leon Kun went with Takao meaning warrior, Tooru Kun went with Fukushima meaning fortune or fortunate, and I chose Yoshino since..” He says before pausing and then smiling at Doremi.

“Well it means lucky field and that’s what I wanted my kingdom to represent after all you and the Witch Queen did for it.” Akatsuki says as Doremi smiles remembering how his world went from a dark and dingy place to live into a bright colorful kingdom like the Witch World. As she hears this though she smiles.

“They all sound like wonderful names.” Doremi says as Akatsuki nods. “Yeah I rather like them..to be honest it makes us feel more human having them.” He says as Doremi smiles. “Well whether you're a human, a wizard or a witch, I am just glad to get to talk to you again. Although I guess I should let you ask me some stuff.” Doremi says as Akatsuki nods.

“Yes I would like to know how you’ve been. Namely..” He says before he pauses as the ground shakes under them. As it does both stand. “What the heck is going on?” Doremi questions as she loses her balance only for Akatsuki to grab her hand. As he helps her onto her feet though the ground in front of them bursts open!

And from the now massive hole emerged something bizarre. It was a plant looking monster. It had a green vinny body with purple colored petals. Inside this body though was a black void with a red eye in it as it peers at both.

“Aka..Akatsuki Kun what is that?” Doremi questions worriedly as he stands in front of her but looks at it similarly concerned. “I don’t know..although those petals..don’t they look like Majo Tourbillon’s Brambles.” Akatsuki says as Doremi gaps.

“But Majo Tourbillon was freed from her despair, so how is that thing around anymore?” Doremi questions as the monster soon speaks. “Pretty Cure..” It growls in a monstrously deep voice. As it says that Doremi’s eyes widen.

“Pretty Cure..” Akatsuki says confused but Doremi soon grabs his hand. “Doremi Chan?” Akatsuki questions as the girl soon tries to drag him. “Akatsuki Kun, run!” Doremi yells in a panic as he was confused but did so as the two ran through the park as the creature soon chased after them.

“Ahh no It’s following us!” Doremi calls out looking behind as Akatsuki looks at it. “Let me try to help!” Akatsuki says as he soon casts a spell as a cage soon appears in the sky as it falls onto the monster as it’s halted from attacking.

As it seems captured Doremi stops her run as she looks at it. “That should take care of it. Although what kinda creature is this?” Akatsuki questions as Doremi looks at it worriedly. “It said Pretty Cure. Is it looking for Hana San and the others?” Doremi says as Akatsuki looks confused.

“Hana San?” He questions before the creature soon shakes its prison before its vines snap the bars off easily as both Doremi and Akatsuki look at it horrified. “No way, how is it that strong?” Akatsuki says astounded as it soon stretches out its vine and captures Doremi as it wraps around her and reels her back to its body.

“DOREMI CHAN!” Akatsuki screeches as he is knocked away by one of the vines as Doremi is brought up to its eye. “Pretty..Cure..” It says as its body opens as a purply black looking blob of energy flies out and surrounds Doremi as she screams in fear before her voice cuts out and her eyes start to shut.

“DOREMI CHAN!” Akatsuki yells as he soon uses magic, capturing her in a bubble and cutting off the monster's vine in the process as her bubble floats to the ground. As she does he catches her out of it though she seems to be knocked out.

“Doremi Chan!” Akatsuki questions but she doesn’t respond despite being shaken. “Pretty Cure..Eliminated.” The monster says coldy as its vine arm regrows before it soon tunnels underground once again leaving the boy shaken as he looks back down at his friend.

“Doremi Chan..DOREMI CHAN!” Akatsuki yells in fear as the girl remains lifeless as the boy looks at her worriedly. That is before he feels his pocket vibrate. Soon he brings out what caused it, a phone he got to keep up his illusion as a human in this world. It shows a number he is familiar with as he answers.

“Leon Kun! Doremi Chan she..” Akatsuki says before Leon interrupts. “Crap..did she collapse from a plant monster too!” Leon questions as Akatsuki pauses in confusion before responding. “Yes but how did you know?” Akatsuki questions as Leon answers.

“Akatsuki Kun, the same thing just happened to Ai Chan and Momo Chan!” Leon says as Atasuki looks at the phone and then down at Doremi with a worried look. It seems not just he and Doremi would be having a mysterious event happening. But what else would occur this day would certainly be an eventful one for him, his friends, and the girls it seemed.

Chapter Text

Worry was all that filled the boy's mind as Akatsuki waited at the front of the Wizard World entrance. Worry that was brought on by how long it was taking his friends to get here and also worry for the ones they would bring with them. As he thought that he turned to the person he was most worried about as her body laid out on the magic carpet.

“Doremi Chan..” Akatsuki says as he places a hand on hers with a frown on his face. The girl was motionless with only the small indications of her chest moving up and down to show she was breathing. This caused the boy to feel slight relief but also fear. Fear that was not being helped alongside his worry as he continued to wait for a sign of his friends.

Soon though that sign would arrive as from the sky appeared a magic carpet of their own and on it were three boys and four girls. The boys each had different hair colors of orange, turquoise and even blonde but they all wore similar looking clothing to one another although different due to the color.

The blonde haired boy wore a green outfit, the turquoise haired boy wore a red outfit, and finally the orange haired boy wore a purple outfit. Each looked sadly at Akatsuki as they flew down and Akatsuki soon saw why. On their carpet four girls laid flat on it and like Doremi they were motionless except the signs of breathing similar to Doremi.

“There you guys are.” Akatsuki says as Fujio frowns. “Sorry we were late. It was a bit hard finding Hazuki Chan..but I was right in my theory that the same thing that happened to the others happened to her.” Fujio said as Tooru nodded.

“Onpu Chan was attacked with me at the studio near our schools.” Tooru says as Leon frowns. “Ai Chan and Momo Chan were attacked as well although Momo Chan almost got away when I told her to run.” Leon says as the four look back at the girls each with frowns on their faces.

“What could that creature be I wonder. It was like nothing I have ever heard of.” Fujio says as he looks in his book as Akatsuki nods. “I can’t say I know but it..looked like one of Majo Tourbillon’s brambles but with some weird plant thing merged with it.” Akatsuki says.

“But that’s IMPOSSIBLE since the girls and us made sure she was free from her despair.” Leon says with his engrish wording still being understood as Tooru nods. “Yeah and from what little I know about her now, she is living peacefully in the Witch World.” Tooru says as Akatsuki nods.

“That’s what I have heard as well. But regardless we need to get the girls to wake up.” Akatsuki says. “But, If the theory that it’s connected to Majo Tourbillon’s brambles is true, then the only ones who can help wake them up are Hana Chan and Poe Chan. So why are we in our world?” Fujio questions as Akatsuki sighs.

“Well, Hana Chan over the last year has taken to coming with the Witch Queen when she meets with Papa. Today is one of those days so she should be here. And wherever she goes Poe Chan also comes with her.” Akatsuki says as the boys nod.

“So we just gotta find her. That shouldn’t be too hard.” Tooru says as the Akatsuki gets on the carpet with Doremi being placed on the larger carpet. As they do so the group takes off on it as they soon see a familiar target flying around the skies of the world.

The figure had long blonde hair with a white shirt, blue shorts and brown shoes even if the outfit looked a bit more middle schooler-like with her outfit looking less ruffled and more presentable. The girl was flying on a white colored elephant around her size if not a bit larger to accommodate her as the two laughed happily as they soared through the sky. As the four flew closer the girl soon notices and smiles as she and her elephant fly closer.

“Ahh Akatsuki Kun! Leon Kun! Tooru Kun! Fujio Kun!” Hana yells happily as she and Poe fly to them. “How are you?” Hana asks as baby-like as ever as the boys give her a relieved look before getting serious. “We are not doing the best Hana Chan. We need your help.” Akatsuki says as Hana looks confused before seeing behind them the girls on the carpet.

“AHHH!” Hana yells as she and Poe Chan move close to it. “Doremi! Aiko! Hazuki! Momoko! Onpu!” Hana says as she touches Doremi and the others but they don’t respond. “What happened to them?!” Hana questioned as Poe frowned.

“Are..are they asleep like everyone else from Majo Tourbillon Tan’s Brambles?” Poe Chan questions as Akatsuki nods but frowns. “We believe so. Can you help us wake them up?” Akatsuki questions as Hana nods. “Of course!” Hana says as she and the boys get to the ground. Each boy soon used magic to make a broom appear as they got ready to help as Hana and Poe looked at each other.

Soon after touching hand to foot, an accordion appears and Hana starts to play a familiar melody. As she did, she and Poe Chan danced around as the boy watched the girls with baited breath before Hana reached the end of her song.

“POE!” Poe Chan yells with excitement as the group watches and yet nothing. No dark energy materialized from the girls foreheads like it had with every other time they used the spell. As a result Hana looked at them worried.

“Keep going, Poe Chan, maybe it just needs more energy!” Hana says as she keeps playing her song with more energy as Poe dances as well but still nothing. As they do both look more and more out of it from doing it for nearly 10 minutes straight.

“Huff huff huff, one more time..Poe Chan.” Hana says as she and Poe breath in as they seem exhausted but ready to continue as a hand grabs Hana’s own. “Hana Chan, don't over exert yourself.” Akatsuki says worriedly as Hana frowns as she catches her breath. “But..my mamas need me.” Hana says worriedly as Fujio frowns.

“Even still overexerting yourself won’t help.” Fujio says as Hana sighs. “Okay..but what do we do now?” Hana questions as Akatsuki looks up. “I think it would be to go and ask the Witch Queen and Papa for help.” Akatsuki says as the boys and even Hana nod as they soon take the carpet and Poe straight to the castle.

As they arrive they see the two royals seemingly bidding one another goodbye. Once Akatsuki’s dad looks up though he notices the boys and Hana as the Queen does as well as they soon descend to them. “Akatsuki? What are you and the boys doing back home so soon..” The Wizard King says before he and the queen take notice of the girls behind them and the sad expressions on their faces. “Papa, we need your help.” Akatsuki says as the two royals exchange confused looks.

“So that is what happened on my end with Doremi Chan and that monster.” Akatsuki explains as the Witch Queen and Wizard King both look on with horror. “This does not make any sense. I thought that Majo Tourbillon had stopped releasing those brambles.” The Wizard King says as the Witch Queen nods.

“Yes she has. So then I question what this monster is? And what did it mean by Pretty Cure?” She says as Tooru nods. “Yeah it said the same thing when it saw Onpu Chan.” Tooru says. “As it did with Momo Chan and Ai Chan, right Leon Kun?” Fujio questions as Leon nods.

“Yeah it’s true. But I never heard of it before.” Leon says. “Pretty Cure..” Hana says as the group looks at her. “Do you know what that is, Hana Chan?” Akatsuki questions as everyone looks to the blond with hope before she looks at them.

“Hmmmm…nope.” She says, shaking her head as everyone collapses at that. “Hmm, perhaps Majo Rika might have an idea what Pretty Cure is. Given the girls seemed to have known about it.” The Witch Queen says as Hana smiles.

“Hey! That’s a good idea! Maybe she does! Let me get her! Pororin Pyuarin Hanahana Pii! Come Here, Majo Rika!” Hana says as she takes out her magic crystal and uses her spell before the others look up as suddenly a portal opens as an older witch was dropped from it, and soon lands face first onto the ground.

“Ouch..” Majo Rika said before standing up and nursing her head as Hana smiles at her. “Hello Majo Rika!” Hana says happily and innocently as Majo Rika growls. HANA CHAN!” Majo Rika yells in an angry tone that the boys were familiar with as Hana shrinks back and laughs. “Hehe sorry to call you like this but we need your help!” Hana says as the Witch Queen spoke up.

“She is correct Majo Rika. We require your assistance.” The Witch Queen says as Majo Rika looks up and bows quickly. “Oh umm of course your Majesty.” She says as the Queen speaks. “We requested you due to your knowledge of something called Pretty Cure. It was something said by a monster that had attacked Doremi and..” She speaks before the witch stands up.

“Wait, Pretty Cure. That’s the thing Doremi and the others told me about.” She spoke up. “So then can you tell us about it?” Akatsuki questions as the witch looks confused. “Akatsuki San..what are you and the boys doing here?” She questions.

“We were..the ones to bring Doremi and the others here. Something attacked us and used a similar spell to the one of Majo Tourbillion’s brambles. But even still Hana Chan’s spell with Poe Chan cannot affect the girls.” Akatsuki states as Majo Rika looks worried, especially seeing the girls in such a state as she sighs.

“Alright, I'll tell you everything I know about the story Doremi and the others told me.” Majo Rika says as Hana, the boys and royals look on in interest as she regales them with the tale.

And after such a tale the group of magical beings were both shocked and a few excited. Hana obviously was bouncing when hearing about the idea of heroines dressing in colorful outfits fighting monsters, especially the idea of Doremi and the others doing that.

Equally, Akatsuki had to admit the idea was exciting. It reminded him of a show he once saw on tv called Lovely Force. It was made after an episode of Battle Rangers where a girl-like hero without a suit appeared who he later learned was actually Hana Chan, and fought off the Evil Shogan.

It led to a new season of Battle Rangers the following year but also a spinoff of the idea focusing on teenage girls fighting in more feminine like outfits but still with the cool action. Although, unlike Battle Rangers it was something he wasn’t as into due to the more feminine nature of the show.

Still hearing that Doremi and the others did something like this was aww inspiring if it wasn’t for that probably leading them to the circumstance at the moment. Still as they heard this Akatsuki spoke up.

“So do you believe if we go to this world where the Pretty Cures are, we can find a way to save the girls?” Akatsuki said as the queen looked down. “I believe that might work, however I am unsure if Hana Chan could open the portal to that world again.” She says as the four look at the blonde.

It was true from what they learned that her original magic crystals were destroyed due to her aging up into this form. She had taken the Witch Exams to properly become a Witch again but still her current magic power is lacking compared to what it was even if her magic power currently was very high especially for someone of her age.

“We could always help her with our magic.” Fujio says, as the other FLAT4 members nod. “It’s worth a try, your majesty.” The Wizard King said as the Witch Queen nodded. “Very well. Akatsuki San, Fujio San, Leon San, Torru San, and Hana Chan, please go to this world and ask for help from these Pretty Cures to save Doremi Chan and the others.” She says as the boys and Hana nod.

“Of course your majesty!” The five said as the Queen looked and smiled. “Very well then.” She says as the king nods. “Just please be careful boys. And you to Hana Chan.” He says as they all nod as they get into position.

“Pororin Pyuarin Hanahana Pii! Take us to the Pretty Cures world!” Hana says as the FLAT4 use their magic in conjunction with her. As they do, energy swirls before them as a portal opens showing a grassy park-like area. “Okay here it is let’s go!” Hana says as the boys nod as the five of them along with the five unconscious girls fly into the portal with their magic carpet.

Once inside the portal vanishes as the Wizard King, Witch Queen, and Majo Rika look at each other. “I just hope they will be alright.” The Queen says the King nods. “I agree but I have faith in my son, his friends and Hana Chan. If anyone can save those girls it would be them.” He says.

“I agree with the King, your Majesty, they should be able to help. I just hope they can do it soon.” Majo Rika says as the two royals nod.

“Huh so this is the world of the Pretty Cures?” Hana questions as she and the boys look around only to see below them was a rather normal looking park though thankfully with no one viewing them flying on a magic carpet.

“This seems to fit with what Majo Rika said about this world. Although, seeing another human world so similar to the other one..feels odd.” Fujio says as the boys nod as Hana looks around. “Although, where are the Pretty Cures?” Hana questions as Akatsuki frowns.

“I am not sure. From what Majo Rika said they are mostly at a shop so I suppose our magic brought us near it. Still I wonder if they are also dealing with this monster as well.” Akatsuki says as Hana nods.

“Oh yeah! I bet they are kicking it’s butt!” Hana says enthusiastically as the boys sigh at it but still give slight grins at Hana’s positivity. “Umm guys..I think we’ve been spotted.” Tooru says as the boys and Hana look down to see below them three figures looking up.

One an older male with red hair holding a blonde baby, another a girl their age with long purple hair, and finally a boy with lighter brown hair. As they saw them looking down the blonde haired baby stared at them namely Hana before a gasp was heard.

“Hana!” The baby says happily as it soon flew out of the arms of the man and soon flew to Hana and the boys. “Huh?” The group questions as the baby floated in front of Hana smiling. “Huh, do you know me?” Hana questions as the baby looks confused.

“Hugu.” She says with a nod as Fujio gives the baby a look. “Hugu? Wait, wasn't this team also taking care of a baby named Hugtan?” Fujio said as the boys nodded.

“Hagu!” The baby says happily as Akatsuki smiles. “Well if we found the baby then those people down there must know the Pretty Cures.” Akatsuki says as they nod and slowly fly down as the baby does as well before being grabbed by the red haired man.

“Hugtan what were you thinking! You could have been hurt.” The man says with concern as the baby frowns. “I think it’s fine, Harry. Still, I am curious why she went to these guys.” The purple haired girl says as the boys finally get off the carpet.

“Oh, that is probably because she recognized Hana Chan from when she was a baby.” Akatsuki says the purple haired girl and red haired man looked shocked. “Hana Chan!” They yelled in shock as the boys looked excited.

“Oh wow you know my sister!” The short brown haired boy says as Hana smiles. “Oh wow you have a sister named Hana? I am also named Hana!” Hana says happily as the boy looks with amazement as the two older teens gasp.

“Wait, Hana Chan? Like the baby Doremi Chan and the others had when they came here?” The red haired male questions as Akatsuki nods. “Yes long story short but due to her magic she can age herself up to this form and does so when she needs to.” Akatsuki says as he feels a twinge of familiarity to this explanation although now he was on the explaining end. The red haired man looked confused but nodded.

“I guess that makes sense. Although wait, who are you guys..” Harry says before he notices along with the others the five Ojamajos on the carpet. “Oh no Doremi Chan and the others!” The man yells as the purple haired girl frowns. “Harry, their readings are the same as Hana and the others. That means the Sorrewatase got to them as well.” Ruru said with worry as Fujio looked at her.

“Sorrewatase? You mean that plant monster?” Fujio questioned as she nodded. “Alright I think we need to talk about this. Wanna come inside the shop?” Harry questions as the boys and Hana nod.

Once inside and the Ojamajos properly on the small bed the boys conjured to keep them off the floor the talk began. “Okay first of all what are your names?” Harry questions as Akatsuki nods. “Oh right, introductions are in order. I am Akatsuki.” He says. “I am Leon.” Leon says. “Hello my name is Fujio.” Fujio says. “And I am Tooru.” Tooru says with a wink to the purple haired girl although she doesn’t seem to notice. “And I am Hana!” Hana says cheerfully.

“Okay. Well I am Harry.” Harry says with a nod. “I am Ruru Armour.” Ruru says. “And I am Mitsuki Nano!” Mitsuki says cheerfully. “Well now with that out of the way can you explain what happened?” Akatsuki questions as Ruru nods.

“We don’t know much at the moment but while me and a few other Pretty Cures and allies were in another world for a meeting, some plant monsters began to appear on Earth. They found the Pretty Cure teams around Japan and used their powers to put them into this sleep-like state which we are struggling to break them out of.” Ruru explains as the boys looked shocked.

“Wait, so all the Pretty Cures have been taken out?” Leon questions as Ruru shakes her head. “Not all of them, just a good majority of the ones in Japan aside from myself and a few others. Although, those not from Japan, the International Pretty Cures, are now all on guard even if none of them have been attacked yet.” Ruru says as the others look at the girls.

“So then it’s just like with Doremi Chan and the others.” Akatsuki says sadly. “I am shocked that it attacked Doremi’s world as well. But I guess it is hunting Pretty Cures.” Ruru says. “Why is it going after the Pretty Cures?” Fujio questions.

“Right now the best theory we have is that due to looking like Sorrewatase, they may have been created by a former enemy of one of the teams named Northra. But this new attack is something she never used to this extent before, especially with this level of effectiveness. Which is why we believe it might have been aided by another of our threats named the Black Hole.” Ruru says.

“That attack it did, is reminiscent of something from our world actually.” Akatsuki says as Ruru looks at them. “Yeah, back in the past the girls and us fought off the previous Witch Queens predecessor, Majo Tourbillon and these bramble thingies.” Tooru explains. “What did these brambles do?” Harry questions.

“They had the power to knock out people hit by them into an unconscious state and then cause them to feel immense despair. Although how it did this could be random. The girls' families and friends when affected became drained of motivation and yet also able to be talked to. Yet when we and our world was hit with it, it made us go into an unconscious like state the girls are in. Not to mention the experience of seeing terrible nightmares of our world being lost.” Akatsuki explained as Ruru and Harry looked worried as Mitsuki gave them a sad look.

“Oneechan and the others are having nightmares? Oh no! Can you help them?” Mitsuki questions as Hana smiles. “I think we can! I mean as long as me and Poe can make them hear our music it should be fine.” Hana says as Akatsuki nods.

“Yes, Hana Chan is the key. She and Poe have a spell they perform that if done right could help to awaken them. But we are unsure why it wouldn't work with Doremi Chan and the others. Still, maybe it could help your friends.” Akatsuki says as Ruru nods.

“That would be helpful with everyone in Labyrinth. Right now me and the others were waiting for Setsuna to..” Ruru says before a bright flash of red was seen as a purple haired girl in a red and purple outfit appeared. She blinked when seeing everyone else in the room as the boys looked surprised. “Oh speak of the devil. Everyone, this is Setsuna.” Harry says as the girl looks at them.

“Um hello. Sorry to come randomly but I just needed to pick you all up. Did you find anything about what happened to the girls?” Setsuna questions as Ruru nods.

“Yes, these boys and Hana Chan here might be the key to helping as their friends have faced what’s going on as well.” Ruru says as Setsuna turns to them.

“Oh well umm hello then. My name is Setsuna Higashi. And I am the leader of the Redemptives.” She says shaking the boy's hands and they exchange names.

“Hello my name is Akatsuki.” He says. “I’m Leon.” Leon says. “Hello my name is Fujio.” Fujio says. “I am Tooru.” Tooru says. “And I am Hana!” Hana says happily as Setsuna nods.

“Okay then. Well if you can help then we are all ears. But first we need to go back to our home base.” Setsuna says as the boys and Hana nod. “Okay then Setsuna San led the way. If it means helping Doremi and the others then we will do anything.” Akatsuki says as Setsuna nods.

“Excellent everyone in our group feels the same. With that said, shall we go?” Setsuna says as everyone in the room nods as Setsuna takes out a key and places it into a phone like device as she and the others including Doremi and her friends go to Labyrinth.

Chapter Text

As the red light faded from the boys and Hana’s vision they soon saw the pleasant park-like area fade and become a cityscape with towering buildings and clear blue skies. Around them were many people going about their normal routines and seemingly not noticing the multiple colorful haired teenagers, adults, children and unconscious school girls on a floating carpet. As they look around though Fujio mainly looks at the surroundings with wonder.

“Wow this cityscape is really interesting. It seems to be like the larger cities on Earth.” Fujio says as he looks around as the others in the FLAT 4 and even Hana look around in awe. “I know it’s so cool!” Mitsuki says as Hana perks up. “Yeah! What’s this place called?” Hana questioned.

“Oh pardon me for not saying this before, this world is called Labyrinth. It is the place me and a few of my friends came from and it serves as our group's homebase so to speak.” Setsuna says as the magical beings nod.
“I see..although why is it called Labyrinth?” Fujio questions as Setsuna smiles.“It’s a long story but basically it’s a place that’s changed from what it once was along with all of us.” Setsuna says vaguely as the group nods.

“We should probably head to the others, Setsuna.” Ruru says as Setsuna nods as she and Ruru lead the way as the boys continue to watch with Doremi and the others carried by the magic carpet. Soon they come across a building at the center which has two members in front.

“Oi Setsuna there you are!” A girl's voice calls as the FLAT4 and Hana pause at the familiarity of it before Hana smiles happily. “MAMA!” Hana calls out as she speeds past those she was behind and jumps on top of the girl. This causes many reactions from the group as the FLAT4 are frozen or confused. Mitsuki is less confused and more panicked.

“Hana Chan don’t! She’s the one person we're not supposed to hug!” Mitsuki yells as Setsuna, Ruru, and Harry look on, shocked by how fast the girl ran to the other girl. As for said girl she soon made her feelings clear.

“GET OFF ME!” The girl yelled as she shoved Hana off and glared at her with her green hair being ruffled from the hug and dusting off her black and white outfit. “Huh? You're not Doremi.” Hana says as the girl glares at her.

“Doremi? Who the heck is that? My name is Bibury.” Bibury says as the FLAT4 looks at the girl and agrees that nothing of her comes off as similar to the red haired girl besides her voice. It was shockingly similar and something that caused the blonde to look sad.

“Oh sorry..I got happy cause I thought..mama..” Hana says before she starts to tear up as Bibury looks at the girl with an annoyed expression although slightly worried as well. “You're not gonna start crying are you? Look I am not this Doremi or Mama alright but you don’t have to cry over it.” Bibury says somewhat comfortingly as Hana nods, standing up.

“Sorry.” Hana says sniffling a bit as another person walks up to the two. “It’s okay, miss. Bibury shouldn’t have yelled at you like that.” The boy says with a charming smile as Hana nods, smiling a bit. “Oi shut it Rio. Try acting so calm when a blonde girl throws herself on you out of nowhere.” Bilbury says as Rio gives her a look.

“Oh yeah cause I totally don’t know what that’s like.” He says, rolling his eyes with a smirk as Bibury frowns. “Shut it. You know what I mean.” She says as Setsuna sighs. “Regardless of that, Hana Chan and these boys are here to help. They have friends who also have fallen victim to the Sorewatase that has gotten to the others.” Setsuna says as Rio looks to them.

“Oh, are you guys friends with other Pretty Cures?” Rio questions as Akatsuki nods. “Somewhat. We didn’t know they were Pretty Cures till today. They apparently met Ruru Chan when they teleported to your world one day.” Akatsuki says as Rio nods. “Well if you can help, let's get inside and stop messing around out here.” Bibury says as she heads into the building as Rio gives the group a sigh before showing a sad expression.

“Sorry about Bibury there. She can be a bit..rude and offensive at times. Although I think today she is acting worse because she is worried for my sister and her friends being caught up in this.” Rio says as Leon looks at the boy.

“Your sister is a Pretty Cure?” He questions as Rio nods. “Yeah and today she and the others got attacked by that thing when Bibury and I were at a meeting. It’s only thanks to Pikirin finding us after it that we then learned what happened.” Rio says as Akatsuki frowns. “I promise we will do anything we can to help.” Akatsuki says as Rio smiles.

"Thank you. What are your names though?” Rio questioned as Akatsuki smiled. “I am Akatsuki, these guys are Fujio, Leon, Tooru, and Hana.” He says as he points to the others as Rio bows. “Nice to meet you as well. My name is Rio. It’s good to have you.” He says as the boys and Hana nod as they enter into the center with Ruru, Setsuna, Mitsuki, and Harry. As they enter though they soon see a woman with magenta hair in a white dress at the doors with a smile as she sees the others.

“Oh Setsuna San and Ruru San, Bibury San just went back into the main area.” She says as the two nod. “Yep we just got everyone together and also brought these guys who might be able to help us.” Setsuna says as she shows the others.

“Oh interesting, are they also Pretty Cure allies?” She questions as the boys nod. “We are although I am fascinated to learn more about Pretty Cure since the girls never told us much about it.” Fujio says as the woman looks at him as a creature on her shoulder perks up.

“Ayumi?” The creature says as it forms into a blob that stares at Fujio. “Oh wow what is this creature?” Fujio questions with intrigued as the blob excitably bounces. “Ayumi!” The creature says as he soon squishes his body on Fujio’s face as the boy falls back.

“Fujio Kun!” The boys and Hana yelled as they tried to help him up while pulling off the creature. “Oh dear Fu Chan don’t do that. Cure Up Rapapa, please get off that boy's face.” The woman says, taking out a wand as the creature floated off the young wizard's face.

As it does Fujio and the others look in awe. “Wait, are you a witch too?!” Hana asks happily as the woman looks confused. “A witch? Well no the technical term for what I am is a Magician.” She says. “Wow, so there are other magic users in this group.” Akatsuki says as she looks at them confused.

“Are you all magicians as well?” She questions. “Well kinda me and my friends here are Wizards, while Hana Chan here is a Witch.” Akatsuki explains as the woman smiles. “Oh my then you might be able to help out with our issue involving the other Pretty Cures?” She questions as Akatsuki smiles. “We should be able to hopefully.” Akatsuki says as Fujio interjects.

“What kinda magic do you normally use, miss..” Fujio says as the woman giggles. “You may call me Solcière. What are your names?” She questions as Fujio smiles. “My name is Fujio, these are my friends, Akatsuki, Leon, Tooru, and Hana.” Fujio says as the boys nod and bow along with Hana. The creature, however still in the air, looks more at Fujio.

“She sounds just like Ayumi..but it isn’t her.” The blob says sadly as Fujio blushes. “I am a boy.” He says flustered by the misgendering as the blob looks confused. “Ohh sorry.” The blob says bashfully as Solcière smiles. “I do apologize about Fu Chan. I was taking care of him due to his partner succumbing to what everyone else has. And it would seem you sound like Ayumi San, Fujio San. So Fu Chan got confused.” Solciere says as Fujio nods.

“I can understand given what Hana Chan did with Bibury San.” Fujio says as Hana giggles nervously. “Still don’t know how he thought you were a girl.” Torru says as Hana speaks up. “Actually he kinda sounds like one girl I knew named Sachiko Chan, so maybe that’s it!” Hana says happily as Fujio blushes more.

“Huh..this girl sounds like Candy San.” Fu Chan says as Hana looks confused. “Candy..San?” She questions before Setsuna speaks up. “Regardless of that we should head inside and continue this talk later.” Setsuna says as Akatsuki nods as he and the group continue into the main room. Inside a bunch of teenagers sit at the table chatting before the group enters the room.

As they do all eyes fall on the FLAT4 and Hana as several stand up. “Setsuna, there you are. Although who are these guys?” A blonde haired man questioned as Setsuna nodded. “These guys are from another world. Their friends were equally attacked and put to sleep by the Sorewatase. Although they also seem to know what kinda threat might have merged with it.” Setsuna says as Akatsuki nods.

“Yes. My name is Akatsuki and my friends are Fujio, Leon, Torru and this girl is Hana Chan.” Akatsuki explains as the group nods and looks interested. “Oh another Hana? That must be confusing.” A red haired girl says as a blue haired girl next to her looks at Mitsuki. “I do hope Mitsuki isn’t too overwhelmed.” The girl says although Mitsuki smiles.

“Don’t worry, Kaoru Oneechan! Hana Chan seems really cool!” Mitsuki says as Hana smiles and Kaoru gives a nod and slight smile too. Although Hana looks on curiously. “Huh..hey doesn’t she sound like her majesty?” She questions as the FLAT4 also looks at the blue haired girl in confusion. “Odd, she does sound like her. I wonder why that keeps happening. Especially since I was said to sound like this Ayumi San they mentioned earlier.” Fujio says as the group looks on as a purple haired girl looks up.

“Wow he does sound like her..and that Hana Chan girl. She sounds like Candy San.” She says as Hana looks confused. “Candy San? Who’s that?” Hana questions as a silver haired man sighs. “Can we please get back to introductions and the task at hand.” He states annoyed as the group looks and nods, deciding to figure this out later or something. As they do, the red haired girl next to the blue haired Kaoru nods.

“Right Shun. As for us, my name is Michiru and this is my sister Kaoru. We are Cure Bright and Cure Windy, as well as friends of the two other Pretty Cures of the Splash Star team.” Michiru says as the boys nod as the one next to the twins speaks up. “My name is Kiriya and I am a member of the Pretty Cures Max Heart team. I am Cure Shine.” Kirya says as the boys nod at the green haired boy.

“My name is Tanomi Yumehara. I am Cure Hope and a member of the Yes Pretty Cure 5. Also the sister of one of them.” A magenta haired girl says with a frown as the boys nod but also frown. “Your sister is involved in this?” Akatsuki questions as the girl nods.

“Yes unfortunately, Nozomi and the others were attacked before I returned from our meeting.” She said sadly as Akatsuki and the others frowned as Hana looked confused. “Nozomi..hmm why does that name sound so familiar.” Hana says but the boys and group as a whole ignore her for now as a blonde haired man speaks up.

“My name is Hayato and I am a friend of the Pretty Cure Fresh team that Setsuna is a part of and also Cure Mandarin.” The man explains as the man next to him speaks up next. “I am Shun. I am also a friend of the Pretty Cure Fresh team and Cure Kiwi.” The black haired man states as a shorter boy with silver hair speaks next.

“My name is Olivier and I am a friend of the HeartCatch Pretty Cure team and Cure Aconitum.” The boys say as Hana and the boys look at him as Hana smiles. “Your hair looks cool!” She compliments Olivier as he blushes a bit. “Umm thank you.” He says as next a girl with dark green hair looks at them. “My name is Lillian, and I am sisters with a member of the HeartCatch Pretty Cures named Cure Evergreen.” She says as the group cinges hearing of another sibling dealing with this situation. After which they look to the next member, one with purple hair.

“My name is Ellen. I am Cure Beat and I am a member of the Suite Pretty Cure team.” Ellen says as the young girl with purple hair from before speaks up. “My name is Nico, and I am a Fairytale character from the Fairytale World. As well as now a member of the Smile Pretty Cure team named Cure Shade.” She says with a smile as the group looks confused.

“Fairytale world? Like the stories of Cinderella and whatnot that children are told?” Fujio questions looking at his notes as Nico nods. “Yes, in my world those stories are real and we live together.” She says as Hana perks up.

“Hey, that's fun! I’d love to go inside a Fairytale! Doremi used to read Cinderella to me before bed and I always wanted to be in it!” Hana says as the FLAT4 once again thanked any higher power that Hana didn’t do that. It could cause a disaster. Still the girl giggles and nods. “That story is one my friend Miyuki wanted to live out when we visited that world, so I can see where you are coming from.” She said with a smile as following her was a girl with blonde hair who spoke next.

“My name is Regina and I am a friend and member of the Doki Doki Pretty Cure team named Cure Spear!” The blonde says as a boy next to her looks at them. “My names Ira and I’m also a member of the Doki Doki Pretty Cure named Cure Jack.” The boy says.

“My name is Phantom and I am a member of the Happiness Charge Pretty Cures named Cure Knight and also a fairy partner to one of them.” A red haired older man says as the boys look confused. “Fairy?” They question. “Oh wow you're like my fairy Toto!” Hana says the man blushes. “Yes I am a fairy but I choose to remain in this form.” He states as the group nods as next is a girl with long red hair.

“My name is Towa and I am the Princess of the Hope Kingdom. I am also Cure Scarlet and a member of the Go Princess Pretty Cure team.” She says as Akatsuki looks up in surprise. “Oh wow, another future ruler.” Tooru says with a smirk as the girl looks at them confused. “Oh my apologies, I do not like to mention it unless it’s meaningful but I too am a prince of my world and Hana Chan here is the future ruler of the Witch World. So I suppose you could also refer to her as a Princess.” Akatsuki says as Hana smiles brightly as Towa nods, smiling a bit as well. “I see.” Towa says as Hana perks up. “Hey hey Akatsuki Kun! I have an idea!” She says as he looks at her.

“What is it, Hana Chan?” He questions. “Well you're a prince right! Maybe, you and Towa San can kiss everyone to wake them up just like in the Fairy Tales that Mama read to me!” She says as Akatsuki blushes as Towa does the same as the FLAT4 chuckles a bit. “Why not, I mean isn’t kissing Doremi a dream come true for you..” Tooru says as Akatsuki glares at him causing him to stop.

“Ha I like this girl.” Regina says as the group sighs. “I don’t believe that would work Hana Chan.” Towa says with a blush as Hana frowns. “Aww darn.” She says as a man next to Towa looks at them awkwardly after that discussion. “Um..well my name is Kurosu. I am also a member of the Go Princess Pretty Cure team, though one of the two prince members named Cure Cadence.” Kurosu says as Solcière speaks next.

“As for myself, I am Solcière and I am a member of the Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cures named Cure Serenade.” Solcière says as the boys nod. “Mahou Tsukai? So they are also magicians I am guessing?” Fujio questions as Solcière nods. “Well one of them is from my world. The other one, Mirai San, is from the Mundane or Human World. And as for the third she is a bit harder to explain but she’s connected to a powerful entity from our world.” Solcière says as the boys nod as Hana perks up. “Oh wow that’s so cool!” Hana says happily as the older woman nods. “Actually it’s funny..you remind me a bit of her and another we recently met.” Solcière says as the group is confused before Rio stands next.

“And to introduce myself again I am Rio and this is Bibury. We are allies of the Kirakira Pretty Cures named Cure Waffle and Cure Parlor respectively.” He says as Bibury huffs not wanting to say much to the five as he sighs before frowning. “And I am also the brother of one of them.” Rio says as he looks down sadly as the FLAT4 and Hana frown once more before smiling as Mitsuki stands up next.

“And I am Mitsuki! I am the younger brother of Cure Yell and a member of the Hugtto Pretty Cure team named Cure Memory!” Mitsuki says as Hana perks up. “That’s so cool that you have a Pretty Cure for a sister! I wish I had someone like that. But unfortunately I am an only child.” Hana says frowning as the FLAT4 silently thank whatever higher power there is for that. They couldn’t imagine two Hana’s running around or the chaos that would cause.

“Aww well maybe we can be like step siblings! You seem really cool! And I can always use more friends and family!” Mitsuki says happily as Hana smiles. “Aww I would love that!” Hana says as the older teens and adults in the room watched the scene unfold with all smiling a bit at the energy and enthusiasm of both youths.

Even if one purple haired girl sighed a bit at their antics and spoke up. “I am Ruru as well as one of the Pretty Cures of Love, Cure Armour.” Ruru says as the boys nod back. “My name is Amane, and I am a member of the Delicious Party Pretty Cures, as well as known by my cure name of Cure Finale.” Amane says as finally a green haired man looks at the group.

“And my name is Narcistoru, and I am an ally of the Delicious Party Pretty Cures though unlike the others of this group I am not a Pretty Cure. Though I do have some tricks to keep up with them” He says as the group all nods before Shun speaks once more.

“As much as these introductions are informative, I do wish to bring us back on topic at hand.” Shun says as the others all face him. “Do you boys happen to have anything that might help us with the situation? Given you come from a world of magic like Solcière San.” Shun questions as Hana smiles. “I might! Me and Poe Chan can play our special melody! It didn’t work to bring out my Mamas but it might be able to for your friends!” Hana says as the group blinks confused.

“Mamas?” They question as Hana smiles. “Oh I was born from a rose so I don’t have an actual mom and dad. But Doremi and the others raised me so they are my mamas!” Hana says as Bibury sighs. “Don’t remind me I don’t need to be hugged by someone confusing me as their mother.” Bibury says grumpily as Phantom looks at Hana curiously. “What kinda melody do you know that might be able to break this spell?” The red haired man questions as Hana smiles.

“Well me and Poe Chan have this magical spell that wakes up people who fall asleep from the brambles! Akatsuki Kun and the others have to help with bringing it together with brooms for Poe Chan to suck it up. But besides that we can do it now.” Hana says as she picks up Poe and shows her to everyone.

“Isn’t that a plush doll?” Setsuna questions as Hana frowns. “Poe Chan is not a plush doll! She is a magical talking elephant! Why does no one get that!” Hana says. “Yeah, what Hana Tan said!” Poe chants out as the group looked both surprised and yet un surprised by Poe talking but with that said Shun looked to them. “How do you know this might work?” Shun questions.

“Well, unfortunately we believe that this Sorewatase thingy merge with the brambles of Majo Tourbillon.” Tooru says. “Brambles?” Solciere questions. “Long story short, these brambles were created by the former Witch Queen’s despair. But Poe Chan has the power to reverse the effects of this.” Fujio says. “Although we still don’t know why she could do it.” Leon says as the group nods.

“My analysis indicates that this creature seems to be filled to the breaking point with asu power. And given Hana San and the others had toge power within them, it’s possible this melody might cancel out the effects. Although I am curious what you mean by failing to work with her mothers?” Ruru questions as Akatsuki speaks up.

“In our world it doesn't seem to work but maybe one of your friends could wake up with this spell.” Akatsuki says the group looks at the boys. "It's worth trying. In our world this threat seems to come from a Sorewatase which is why we believe Nothra is involved. She was a former enemy of ours and even though she and the others should be dead..I worry she might've survived and came up with this plan for revenge. Still If it can help any of the girls, maybe we can figure out how to help the others to awaken and combat this threat to our worlds.” Setsuna says as the group all nod. "With that said follow us, well show you to the others." She says as they soon get up and lead the four, Hana and their unconscious friends to a room. Once opened it revealed many many girls all in their teen years on beds sleeping without a single peep. Each one with different shades of colorful hair. However, as the boys entered they grimaced at the sight. Each one getting slight flashes to themselves being in such a similar state along with all the people of their world, before Hana and their friends saved them.

As they pause though Hana notices two girls sitting next to each other. They seemed to be resting on one another yet clearly not under the same spell. One had long pink hair and wore a green and white outfit. And the other had long purple hair and wore a white and blue grown with a purple butterfly ribbon on her chest.

As Hana saw them and walked closer the girl's eyes opened. “Oh everyone your back.” The girl with pink hair says as the purple haired girl looks around and gives Hana and the FLAT 4 a curious look. “Who are you?” She questions as Hana smiles.

“I’m Hana Chan! Sorry I disturbed your nap!” She says as both looks up and blushes as she stands up. “Oh sorry I guess we were dozing off there..my name is Elle Chan..uhh I mean Princess Elle haha!” She says with a bow and a blush as she seemingly was still not used to this. As her friend gave Hana a friendly smile and wave.

“And my name is Ha Chan but when I am in this form I am called Kotoha!” The girl says matching Hana’s energy as Hana smiles. “Oh cool! My name is Hana, when in both my forms.” Hana says as Kotoha looks confused. “You have other forms as well?” She questions as Hana nods.

“Yep tada!” Hana says as in a puff of smoke she soon appears looking younger around the age of three with a small child uniform from her kindergarten. As she saw this Kotoha and Elle smiled. “Wow, cool! You can turn into a toddler too!” The purple haired girl says as she shifts into a smaller toddler form with a pink outfit on. Kotoha smiles as she nods. “Oh wow that’s cool! I turn young or old with my magic as well!” Kotoha says as in a green flash she suddenly was now a small fairy-like creature looking around the two’s age though much smaller.

“Oh cool! You guys have magic too?” Hana questions as both revert to their aged forms. “Yes! Wait, are you a magician as well?” Kotoha questions. “Oh nope! I am a witch!” Hana says as the two keep talking as Solcière appears next to the boys. “Oh wow a Witch! That’s so cool! I dressed up as one for Halloween with everyone else!” Elle says as the three turn back to their teen forms as they chat amongst themselves.

“I figured they would get along.” She says as the boys look at her. “Is one of those girls the one you mentioned that was connected to a powerful entity?” Fujio questions as the woman nods. “Yes believe it or not but Ha Chan or Kotoha is the reincarnation of the goddess who guarded and nurtured our worlds.” She says as the FLAT4 looks shocked.

“And the other girl is named Elle Chan who is from our most recent team. She is the current princess of Skyland.” She says as the boys nod and look back to the three. As Akatsuki shakes a bit. “They ..oh god now there are three of them.” Akatsuki says as Mitsuki appears and speaks with both seemingly the four happily chatting as the rest of the group catches up. “Seems more like four of them. All like Hana Chan.” Fujio says as the two boys look a bit worried about this yet soon the others arrive to cut them out of their worry.

“You boys can set the girls near the Hugtto team. Thankfully we had some spear beds set up.” Setsuna says as the boys nod, taking their respective friend and moving them to the beds, tucking them into it with the grace and gentleness of a collector and his prized possessions.

As they do Akatsuki frowns seeing Doremi’s face similarly frozen in a barely visible smile along with all the other girls he sees lining the room. As he looks up though, each of the redemptives enter the room and each one gazes at their friends too. Many with looks of hurt or pain, others with looks of anger for what befell them and others cried silent tears. Each with the same hurt expression as he and his friends. As they did though, eventually all eyes fell on Hana.

“Well then Hana Chan, can you try your melody with Poe Chan again?” Akatsuki questions as Hana nods. “Of course! Ready Poe Chan?” Hana questions as the elephant nods as they begin their song. The melody floods through the room as Hana and Poe dance like they always do but as the song continues none of the signs of pain or struggling from the internal infections seem to appear. And once Hana stops nothing occurs. Not a peep is heard from any of the girls as the group all look down in sadness.

“Aw..it seems it still didn’t work.” Hana says sadly as Poe looks down as well. Akatsuki was about to reach out to the girl before a hand goes on her shoulder as she turns to be greeted by Setsuna. “It’s fine Hana Chan. It was a long shot either way and even with this we were not out of options. We can just wait for the others to find some answers.” Setsuna says Akatsuki gave her a confused look.

“Others?” he questions. “Oh well we have many friends who are currently researching anything they can to help. From all the different fairies who aid our teams, to even some of our allies in different kingdoms, as well as some..relatives.” Setsuna says looking at Ruru as she nods as Hana looks before perking up.

“Hey…wait! Akatsuki Kun I think I might have an idea.” Hana says. “Yes Hana Chan.” Akatsuki says, although a bit hesitant after the last time she said that. “Well when Doremi and the others wanted to know what was wrong with you guys when your world faced this they used a Magical Stage to enter into your minds. Maybe we can do that and break them free from inside!” Hana says as the group looks shocked.

“Go inside them with magic and stuff?” Regina questioned as Hana nodded. “Yep we have a powerful spell in our world called Magical Stage where three apprentices or full blown witches can use it together to do really cool stuff! My mamas use it all the time!” Hana says as Akatsuki frowns.

“But Hana Chan, that magic is typically for Witches and I am unsure if me and the guys' magic will work to initiate it. We only used our magic to increase its power before but we never casted it.” Akatsuki says.

“Well if it’s witch magic that Hana needs to cast, then perhaps me and Kotoha could attempt it?” Solcière says as Kotoha perks up. “Yeah me and Solcière San could totally help you Hana Chan!” Kotoha says as Hana smiles. “Okay let’s do this. So here’s what you gotta say okay.” Hana speaks to the two as they nod although Solcière blushes a bit. “Very well.” She says as the three got farther away from each other.

“Pororin Pyuarin, Nikoyaka ni!” Hana says as her magical crystal shines. “Cure Upuran, Satotta ni!” Solcière says as her wand shines although a blush is clear on her face with such a silly spell chant. “Rapapa Motherita, Tanken ni!” Kotoha chants more enthusiastically as she raises her wand as it shines.

As each of the three magic items shine soon, energy is raised similarly to what he’d seen in the past Akatsuki witness Magical Stage as a bright orb appears in the center of all of them shining brightly in the air. “Magical Stage!” The three chanted as Akatsuki and the others all shot off their magic into the orb as it responded, shining down on them. “Bring us inside the minds of our friends!” They chanted as the stage opened a portal as everyone sitting around them flew up into it.

Once all the Redemptives and spellcasters were inside it shut. On the other side of the portal the FLAT4, Remptives and Hana all open their eyes as they see themselves in an odd place. It was a purple rocky area seemingly some kinda cave with spiky rocks all around and yet paths throughout everyone area with odd indicators around each one.

Each passage had some kinda picture on it and the pictures were crude images of some kind. But as he stared at one Akatsuki saw the crude image as a familiar silhouette. “Doremi Chan.” Akatsuki pointed to Doremi’s pathway, it seemed.

“Mana and Agri.” Regina says as she points to one with a pink haired girl's silhouette and a shorter girl's silhouette. “Nozomi and Rin as well.” Tanomi says as she points out ones with her sisters and her girlfriend’s silhouette in different pathways like the others. Soon everyone was calling out someone, be it Hana with Momoko, Leon with Aiko, Fujio with Hazuki, Tooru with Onpu. Once they all saw these paths Setsuna spoke up.

“Well I am not too sure what kinda maze this place is but if your magic actually brought us into their minds maybe these paths will lead us to our friends.” Setsuna says as Akatsuki nods. “Seems like it. Although, some of the paths seem to be merged on both sides. Like Doremi Chan is on the left side of the path that this Love Chan girl is.” Akatsuki says as Setsuna and others noticed this.

“Hmm then I suppose we should split into groups to find our friends and then go down other paths once the first few are released. Although, we should all have our phones on in case of a text message on the groupchat.” Setsuna says as the redemptives nod with the FLAT4 and Hana looking confused. “What’s a group chat?” Hana questioned as the FLAT4 shook their heads.

“No idea.” They said as Setsuna looked at them. “Oh right from what Ruru San told me, Doremi’s world is a bit behind us in terms of years. Umm what year is it where you come from?” Setsuna questions as the boys blush. “Umm 2005.” They said as Setsuna blushed.

“My god you guys are currently 4 years behind me and my team when we first started. Umm okay then well um just partner up with one of us and we can probably help to explain it if something goes wrong.” Setsuna says as the group nods

Hana goes over to Kotoha and Elle Chan seeing that Momoko’s walkway was connected with both of the girls' pathways. One that showed two girls silhouettes holding hands, and the other showing a small bird-like creature. “Hey hey, we can go together, Kotoha Chan and Elle Chan!” Hana says, grabbing her hand as Kotoha smiles. “Okay Hana Chan!” Elle says equally happy as Hana as Kotoha nods. “Ha! Let’s go, everyone!” She says bubbling with joy together with her two friends.

“Umm Solcière San may I go with you? Since Hazuki San seems to be down this path in the same way as this bear..fairy I would assume is.” Fujio questions as the older magician nods. “Very well, Fujio San. Let’s go together.” She says. “Hey Rio Kun, I guess we should head our way together.” Leon says as Rio nods. “Seems like it. But we should get going soon.” Rio says with purpose as Leon nods. “Um Ruru Chan I think you said your name was right?” Tooru questions as the android nods.

“Yes, that is my name. I assume you wanna head down this path with me to Emiru and Onpu?” Ruru questions as Tooru nods. “Yep, lead the way.” Tooru says as the girl nods. “Guess that leaves me and you, Setsuna San.” Akatsuki says as other groups started to pair up.

“Seems like Akatsuki San but I am sure we can get through this. I need to..I won’t allow Love or any of my friends to be hurt by whatever this is.” Setsuna says as Akatsuki nods. “I feel the same with the others and with..Doremi Chan.” Akatsuki says as he faces his path as he and Setsuna along with the other duos all start down their path. The path of mystery that they hope with all their hearts will lead them to their friends and help break them free of this nightmare.

So hey everyone.

I guess my tag for Summer was very.. off. But here I am. But I can’t say I have much. This year has been an interesting ride for myself as a pretty cure fan.

I managed to post my next biggest fic of Friends In Need, I’ve caught up to the franchise and am waiting to tackle Hirogaru in the future. But on the other side I’ve been not the best.

Being an Ojamajo Doremi fan has always been hard. Be it the constant fights i’d see for who’s better to ship with one of girls or boys, to reevaluation of a certain older man in a modern view making parts of the show uncomfortable for others, to the fact that 16 continues to annoyed the hell out of me by its very nature.

It’s been hard to stay around and Doremi’s relevancy or lack there of is not something to forget either. But this year has been a ride for me..as a fan of Doremi I have tried to do what I’ve done, what I’ve been doing for 6 years now. And that’s the problem.

Focusing on only this show till 2020 when I tried to branch out and even found some gems like MHA. But still for the next 4 years I have dedicated my time to this series. Especially rewatching them thanks to a certain persons reviews.

But this year I just think I’m at my end. I’m burnt out. Not of magical girls in general but just Doremi.
I love it..I still do. Tonight I even spent my day after thanksgiving by giving my love to a certain video about 6 reasons to watch the show.

And my love for it is still strong. But I think 6 years and I’m fine to let it rest for a bit. Not forever but just a bit. And so I think it’s time to postpone anything related to it..include this fic.

I love this fic. I love getting to combine two shows that mean everything to me together. To make all the stupid references and interactions happen. And I especially love the chance to get even a few of my fans who like Pretty Cure to see Doremi and the her friends shine.

And more importantly the FLAT4. As I said in the first chapter they are dear to me. And yet I should say this.

Without the FLAT4 I would never have written this series. In the show they were my first chance of the good and the bad of Toei’s writing. How to make four very likable funny and interesting characters and how to not use them well despite all the potential.

That was what made me write fics with them. On top of loving them and the Ojamajos. To give them what they deserved. And because of that once I got into Pretty Cure doing it with all the character I felt they didn’t give enough to, didn’t end well enough or just keep going with those who had so much potential. It was magical and it still is.

But like I said this is my stooping point for this story. I really was looking forward to Tooru’s chapter. And hell writing anything to do with Akadore will always get me hyped. But not now..not after the burn out has taken over. I’m not gonna ruin the chance to work with them and the redemptives because of this.

So I do promise..once I feel rested. Once I have finally recovered of this burnt out feeling..I will return to this fic. Probably redoing it to match whatever the redemptive universe is like then..and giving the boys the chance to shine and save those they love the most.

And do so by meeting the group they helped inspire in me. But until then I say thank you for reading to this point..and I’m sorry to make you wait so long for a next chapter when I don’t have anything to do but say it’s not coming for a long while. But mark my words it will come someday.

Till then I should say to any Pretty Cure fans of mine I am not stopping cure fics. I’m nearly three years in this series. And I’m not stopping yet. I have a lot of ideas.

These romances chapters I’ve been doing..the end of year fic which shall happen soon, as well as all the ideas planed to work on next year. Year 4 of this series is gonna be fun so I hope you enjoy.

And just to end this..thank you Doremi Fandom. Without you I wouldn’t be doing this..and that is the greatest gift I could have gotten from this series.

So...yeah my last chapter update was a bit melodramatic on my part and I apologize. A lot of factors outside of the series were effecting me and I was still massively burned out from Friends In Need. But with nearly a years rest from Doremi fics or content, and I think I am ready to come back. Also since well..I kinda realized that this year is the 25th anniversary of the series. Yeah don't know how I was that stupid to forget about it since I was so excited when the 20th anniversary happened, but hey it's not all bad. At least 16 is still in Light Novel purgatory.

Alright that was kinda mean so I'll lay off that for now. But yes I am back for this fic. This will be a primary focus for this month in terms of completion. Especially given it's my Bday month and I wanna show my love during it. As well as after this having a little fic that might be even more anticipated by me well once I finish this and watch a certain episode of Naisho (If you know, you know and trust me I will be having fun finally making this a thing :).

But with that said I will say some of this fic has been updated already so while the next chapter needs a bit more editing before being released, the first three chapters have been equally re written with new jokes, changes to make dialogue better and also additions. Such as time placement since originally this fic was set in a time before this version of my redemptive universe would introduce Amane and Tomo. But now it's around where this year began so no Dark Five yet and post Friends In Need. As such everyone but Tomo has their cure forms (Which I am sure will lead to nothing special :), but also it will include some additional characters to make future fics work more.

So with that said I hope you enjoy this fic this month since I know a lot of the chapters will have my love all over them (cough cough Akatsuki and Doremi's Chapter cough cough) But with that said I hope you enjoy the updated chapters! I know I had fun adding in a lot of jokes and some new character interactions! And worry not Fuji's updated chapter as well as Leon's chapter will be released either tomorrow or Tuesday depending on how much I get done! As the Redemptives, FLAT4 and Hana split off into their groups to explore the maze they find themselves in, each one seems to feel a certain way about the situation. But for Fujio his own thoughts are clouded by intrigue as he walks with his chosen partner for this mission, Solcière.

Looking at the older women, Fujio can’t help but draw comparison to her and the witches from the Witch World. Not just due to her femininity, but also for the way she currently carries herself.

She possesses a grace he is familiar with and one that humans don’t have. Something that marks her as someone from another world. This gives him a sense of familiarity and camaraderie with her.

As he thinks this thought the magic user gives him a curious look. “Are you okay Fujio Kun?” Solcière questions as the boy shakes out of his thoughts and nods.

“Yes. I am sorry Solcière San. I was just still thinking of how intriguing it is that you are also from a magical world like myself and my friends.” Fujio says as the woman nods.

“I suppose that’s fair. I guess in your world all you have seen are beings like yourself and beings with no magic. Meanwhile, for me in my experience with this group I find that seeing magic beings from other worlds is common. Especially the ones from our group.” She says as Fujio nods.

“Yes, your group seems to be composed of some interesting people. Although the idea of having a group of legendary warriors be teenagers is still rather odd from my perspective.” Fujio says as the woman nods.

“That is quite true. Although do not discredit them for being teenagers. I know I had once and I would never make that mistake again.” Solcière says as Fujio pauses as he nods.

“I concur..I wouldn’t want to underestimate anyone again. After all, everyone of these Pretty Cures are human or somewhat human. And from what I have seen humans have incredible emotions that can help them break through the toughest of situations. Even if we think they can’t.” Fujio says as thinks of a familiar brown haired girl feveriously yelling for Hana Chan.

“I agree. After all, the most powerful magic of all needs raw emotions to successfully work.” Solcière says as Fujio looks at her confused. “The most powerful magic of all?” He questions. “Yes, it is a spell taught to me by my caretaker. It’s a song that when singing can empower people of light to do battle with darkness. It invigorates everyone who hears it with the positive feelings of the singer.” Solcière states as Fujio looks interested as he summons up a notebook which he soon writes in.

“I see..music having that kinda power is fascinating to know. For me the only singing I hear normally is..not the most comforting.” Fujio states as his ears ring a little from the memory of Tooru and his..interesting singing. “I can agree to that..” Solcière says as she remembers Regina and Mana’s..interesting singing they did at the last Redemptive / Pretty Cure celebration. Also all the shattered glass from Alice’s poor estate that the witch helped to levitate safely into trash bags.

“Although I did wish to ask you something about that group you're in Solcière.” Fujio questions as the woman looks at the boy. “Oh well, ask away.” She says. “Well firstly what kinda group is it? It seems you all have such a diversity of people seemingly of different ages and from different worlds. Is all of this due to the Pretty Cures?” He questions as Solcière smiles.

“Well the Pretty Cures are the reason our group exists in the first place. They gave us another chance to be better as a result we owe everything to them.” Solcière says as Fujio looks confused. “Another chance to be better?” He questions as the familiarity of that line tips her off to his intrigue having another reason. Still the woman answers.

“Well..me and my friends were once enemies of the Pretty Cures. All of us at one point or another worked with or were people of darkness wishing to do something that was nefarious or something misguided like in my case.” Solcière says as Fujio looks at her with intrigue.

“Really? But all of you are so friendly and heroic from what I have seen.” Fujio says as Solcière giggles. “I do understand the confusion. Many feel this way when the concept of our group is explained. Why, I had that same reaction when I first joined. But yes everyone in this group once did something to get the Pretty Cures to fight us..and all of us were saved by these girls. Then after the fighting was over, they helped us to become better versions of ourselves by interacting with this group and growling close to everyone else.” Solcière says as Fujio looks at her and nods.

“I see, so is that why these Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure girls are your friends?” Fujio questions as Solcière nods. “It is. Mirai and Riko helped me when I was trying to capture the Pretty Cures so I could steal their tears. All for the chance to see my caregiver again and..well so I would know why she didn’t love me. But they helped me to realize she did love me..and that love helped me to help them when someone I trusted betrayed me and began to fight them.” Solcière explains as Fujio looks on with intrigue. “Fascinating.” He says as Solcière smirks.

“Quite. Now then why not tell me your story?” She questions as Fujio looks at her. “Whatever do you mean?” He questions as she has a small laugh. “With the questions you were asking I could tell you have had a past that might’ve been similar. It’s something I have picked up on by hearing all my friends and their stories. We all seem to react to similar ideas. So then what happened to you in the past? Was this connected to the human girls you're trying to save?” Solcière questions as Fujio looks and nods.

“Well on my end..I was brought into a mission by Akatsuki a few years ago. During that time I lived in a world that was nearing extinction due to the land being infertile. As a result we were sent on a mission to get a witch baby. One who was very important to the Witch World and would allow us to save our world. Namely by getting back land from the Witches, to hopefully restore our world. However, the baby had caretakers who stopped another older wizard from getting her. As such Akatsuki, and the rest of us were called on to befriend these caretakers and get the baby ourselves. But the baby was Hana Chan and her caretakers were the Ojamajos.” Fujio says as Solcière looks at Fujio and gives him an understanding look.

“I see.” She says as Fujio looked at the women a bit of panic as he soon blurted out his next part. “But me and my friends after getting to know the other girls and getting to see the beauty of the human world well we went against our world and gave Hana Chan back to them.” Fujio says as Solcière nods.

“I see. Ironic with how we met then. Still I am glad you all saw the errors of your ways.” Solcière says as Fujio nods. “Yes I am glad I did. Thanks to it we got to save our world with the help of the girls and the Witches. Now because of that me and my friends can live in the human world with them. Although for me I haven't seen Hazuki Chan awake in awhile. It’s why seeing her how she was today hurt me so much.” Fujio says as Solcière looks at the boy.

“I see. I can agree with you on that. Seeing Mirai and the others today in such a state hurt me. I haven’t interacted with them nearly as much as the other Redemptives and their cures but they are dear to me. As such I wanna save them as best I can.” Solcière says as Fujio nods.

“I concur. Hazuki Chan..is someone special to me. She helped me realize the power of emotions. The power and magic that all humans can possess if they love or care enough. It’s a lesson I will never forget. I even started my last three notebooks with this lesson as the first one.” Fujio says showing the women as she sees and smiles.

“I see so that’s what you were writing down while we're conversing.” She says as she looks through the book seeing lessons the boy wrote from school, to social interactions he had and yes the front note being the lesson the boy learned from Hazuki. As she witnesses it though Fujio blushes a bit.

“I do hope this doesn’t seem weird. I enjoy writing down these notes but I can understand if others feel it is weird.” Fujio says self consciously as Solcière smirks. “I do not think it is weird. I actually have a student who does something similar to you. I always admired her desire to write things down like this, especially with lessons learned. So I feel that these lessons and notes are important and I hope you do not forget that due to others making you feel that way.” Solcière says as Fujio nods.

“I will try to do this, Solcière San.” Fujio says. “You mentioned you are a teacher a few times now. What is that like?” Fujio questions as the woman is ready to answer as the two continue to travel down the maze.

Eventually the two reach the end of the corridors and find rooms of sorts made of purple stone. In the center of one Fujio stops and sees a girl with brown hair shaking. “Hazuki Chan.” Fujio calls out as the girl seemed to not hear him as Solcière frowned.

“It would seem she’s being affected by something. I sense magic in this area.” She says as Fujio frowns as Solcière looks at him. “I would suggest you walk carefully. We have no idea what kinda dark forces might be guarding the girls. As such go down and try to reach out to her. While, I protect you and her should anything come to harm you.” Solcière says as Fujio nods.

“Okay. I just hope she’s okay.” Fujio says as the witch nods. “She will be. Just have faith. As well as hold onto this.” She says as she opens her hand to reveal a small orange colored orb. “What’s this?” He questions as she smiles. “You’ll know if you run into danger. Now best of luck.” She says crypticly as the boy is puzzled but still nods.

As he uses magic to levitate himself down the cliff side and takes a step near the center as he does a cloud of smoke soon appears around him before he finds himself in a street side. As he looks around though he soon sees Hazuki standing motionless as she watches the street in front of her.

“Hazuki Chan!” Fujio calls out but she doesn’t respond. Instead she seems to respond to a voice from her right. “Hazuki San, I hope to see you come to the show later this week!” A familiar looking blonde girl speaks out as Hazuki nods.

“No way Tamaki San! She’s coming to see my game right, Hazuki Chan?” Fujio hears as he sees Aiko with a sports outfit on and a soccer ball in hand. “No she’s coming to our piano recital, right Hazuki Chan?” Fujio hears, as he sees Doremi and her little sister Popu arrive.

Soon the street splits again and again as others soon appear. A girl asking for Hazuki’s help with flowers, a familiar green haired boy asking for help making sweets for his mother for the upcoming mother’s day, and so on.

As Fujio watches he feels terrible watching Hazuki look confused and worried although she doesn’t respond to him no matter how loud he shouts. Soon though the girl collapses on the ground. “No..no more please..I can’t..I can’t decide..” Hazuki says as tears begin to fall from her face.

“Hazuki Chan..” Fujio says as he watches her break down feeling powerless before a woman in a purple outfit arrives. Her brown hair framing her face as she gives a sickenly sweet smile to Hazuki. “Oh dear.” She says as Hazuki looks up.

“Mo..mother.” Hazuki says as she walks over to the poor girl. “Hazuki Chan..why haven’t you decided yet?” She questions as Hazuki looks confused. “Wha..what?” She questions. “Why haven’t you decided my dear. Your world is fully open now. You don’t have to have me make choices for you. You can make whatever choice you wish. I just hope you see..the consequences that come from that.” She says as Hazuki looks back at the streets with everyone chanting her name.

“Hazuki Chan! Hazuki Chan! Hazuki Chan!” They shout almost robotically as Fujio watches Hazuki start to breathe heavily. “But I can’t choose one over all the others. I don’t know what to do! Mother..please help me.” Hazuki says as Fujio’s eyes begin to tear up.

Hazuki Chan..she was breaking down hard from this. Her eyes were stained with tears and her voice was horse from the crying. And yet Hazuki’s mother just stood there. “My dear…you must choose on your own. That was your choice after all so I am no longer needed. So choose..but be careful not to choose wrong. Or you might end up like me when I was young. Heartbroken and in pain.” She says yet no reaction comes from her face.

She says it so coldly and so unlovingly that Fujio glared at the women. She was her mother! The one Hazuki loved, the one who taught her how to love Hana Chan, and here she was gaslighting her daughter. Fujio couldn’t take it anymore especially as Hazuki started to breathe heavier and look more scared and timid.

“No..please…help me..please help me!” Hazuki yells but it comes out as a dull whisper as the voices of her friends grow ever louder. That is before Fujio steps in. Suddenly magic swirls around Hazuki as she soon is on the ground in front of the boy as he gets on the ground and places an arm around her. “Hazuki Chan!” Fujio says as Hazuki for the first time looks at him when he states her name.

“Fu..Fujio Kun?” Hazuki says confused as he nods. “Yes it’s me. But that’s not important. What is, is for you to calm down and breathe.” He says as Hazuki looks more nervous. “Calm down but I cannot do that..not now..not with all the choices I have..not with worrying about what mother said. I..I have no idea what to do..” She says crying as Fujio frowns.

“Hazuki do one thing first okay..please..just breathe. Just breathe and focus on my voice.” Fujio says as Hazuki looks at him worriedly before he gives her a kind smile. “Please..trust me.” He says with worry as she looks at him and nods.

“Okay..okay..” She says as she begins to breathe and for a solid minute that’s all Fujio heard from the girl. And soon her breathing was slower and more calm as she soon looked around as the streets began to merge and everyone vanished leaving the two alone.

“Are you feeling better Hazuki Chan?” Fujio questions as Hazuki looks up and nods. “Yes..I am feeling better. I just..was overwhelmed by everything but you were correct. Breathing has helped me see that all these choices are not as daunting as I once thought. So thank you Fujio Kun..although how did you get here?” Hazuki questions as Fujio nods.

“Your welcome Hazuki Chan. And as for why..well this is a dream it seems..you were attacked by a monster similar to Majo Tourbillon’s brambles. It placed you into a dream. But now we need to get you out of here.” Fujio says as the world begins to fade back into the cavern type area from before as Solcière approaches.

“So is this Hazuki Chan?” She questions as Fujio nods. “Um Fujio Kun, who is this woman?” Hazuki questions as Sorcière smiles. “Hello my name is Solcière. I am a friend of the Pretty Cures.” She says as Hazuki looks shocked. “Wait, Pretty Cure? So you are associated with Saaya San?” Hazuki questions as Sorcière nods to the girl as the others look to see Hazuki’s body fading in light.

“I guess Hazuki Chan is waking up now that she is free from the nightmare.” Fujio says as Solcière nods. “Yes. Although now that she is safe, you should leave as well Fujio Kun. I think I can handle my path from here to the others on my own.” Solcière says as Fujio nods.

“Very well. Just be careful Solcière San.” Fujio says as the witch nods as Fujio readies his magic as Hazuki looks to Fujio. “Oh Fujio Kun.” Hazuki says as he looks at her. “I don’t understand everything that’s going on but thank you..thank you for helping me.” Hazuki says as Fujio looks at her and smiles brightly. “Of course Hazuki Chan, you're welcome.” Fujio says as he and her vanish in magic light as Solcière smiles.

“Well it seems you didn’t need the crystal to help her, so that’s good. But it seems you're starting to find your own redemption Fujio Kun. I just hope you can see that as well soon.” Solcière says smiling.

Chapter Text

As the Redemptives, FLAT4 and Hana split off into their groups to explore the maze they find themselves in, each one seems to feel a certain way about the situation.

But for Leon his own thoughts are clouded by his own curiosity of the place around him. It was a purple cave like maze and something that triggered his interest. It looked like a good place to train his endurance or speed yet also a kinda dangerous one without some magical rails protecting him from falling off the edge.

The edge of this cavern was a black void and one Leon did not wanna know where it would take him. Unless someone challenged him to it, but no one ever gave him a challenge like that. Usually he was the one who did that. Like he did today with Ai Chan. He thought as the memory of it came to him.

“Ai Chan, I challenge you!” Leon yelled to Aiko as he rushed up to her. Once he did though two sets of eyes blinked in shock and confusion seeing him. Aiko was on a bench in the park with Momoko.

Aiko’s blue hair was still short even after a year and Momoko’s was as well but Momoko’s outfit had now changed out her black socks for stockings due to the colder weather. As both look at Leon a different reaction is had by both.

“Oh great, what are you doing here?” Aiko questions as Leon smirks. “I am here for a challenge like old times!” He calls out as Aiko sighs. “Jeez, could you wait till Momo Chan goes back to New York?” Aiko questions as Leon looks confused as he gives the blonde a look with her responding.

“Yeah sorry hehe Ai Chan and I were just hanging out in the park. I was visiting Japan since my school hasn’t started yet.” Momoko says as Leon nods. “Oh I gotcha. You're lucky. I hate the first week of school here so far.” Leon explains as Aiko stands up. “Wait what you moved here?” Aiko questions as Leon smirks.

“Yep. The king allowed us to move away from our old school in Fukui. So I decided to go to the same school as you Ai Chan!” Leon yells as Aiko sighs. “So you're the blonde boy I heard was new today. I was wondering why it sounded familiar with how everyone talked about them.” Aiko says as Leon smirks.

“Of course.” He says with his head held high. “Mostly that you sucked when the teacher asked a question in Math.” Aiko says as Leon falls over. “Oi don’t bring that up. Look, math and school are not the things I am good at alright.” Leon says as Aiko chuckles.

“Not sure what you are good at.” Aiko says. “Oi I am good at sports.” Leon says. “Not as much as others I have seen.” Aiko says as Leon growls. “Well at least I am better at magic than you. When we got Hana Chan you guys couldn’t do anything! If it wasn’t for Akatsuki we would have…” Leon says fired up before stopping with a look of deer in the headlights.

Especially, after seeing Aiko’s look of slight anger and annoyance at him mentioning that. “Yeah I know. That's why I still don’t trust you guys.” Aiko says with a hint of bitterness in her voice as Leon feels a bit of a stab to the gut with that line. Still he chooses to ignore that.

“Look sorry to mention that. Can we just get along with my challenge?” Leon questions as Aiko sighs. “Fine let’s get this over with.” Aiko says but before they could finish their talk the ground started to shake as suddenly a plant monster appeared and then…

“Common Leon Kun, speed it up a little.” Rio calls out as he continues to move ahead of Leon as the boy glares a bit. “OKAY OKAY, I’m coming jeez.” Leon says in his engrish tone as he walks side by side with Rio as the blue boy sighs. “Sorry Leon Kun..” He says as Leon faces him. “Nah don’t worry. I wasn't thinking of anything important.” He says lying. Really he was thinking of all that happened before.

Especially Aiko's comment on trust. As much as he tried to ignore it..that hurt him to hear. After all he and his friends did, from giving Hana Chan back, to helping them in the Wizard World when Hana Chan’s magic went haywired, and even when they took on the job of helping Hana Chan with the Witch Queen’s brambles.

I mean he didn’t take a hard hit into a pole when he tried drop kicking a bramble, to have Ai Chan not trust him or the others. What did he have to get her to trust him? He thought as Rio looked at Leon. “Hey man do you need to talk about something? You seem to be in thought?” Rio questions as Leon looks at the blue haired boy and frowns.

“I’m fine.” He says lying as Rio frowns. “You're lying. I can tell.” He says as Leon frowns. “Why do you say that?” Leon questions. “Cause I have seen that face before.” Rio says. “Were in a mirror?” Leon jokes as Rio pauses and nods with a blush.

“Yes.” He says scratching the back of his neck as Leon looks confused. “Okay well what does that face mean?” Leon questions. “Sigh…well it means that you're deep in thought of this..Ai Chan girl you called out for. So I guess she’s someone special to you.” Rio says as Leon sighs in frustration.

“Look, she’s just my rival, okay. I don’t need you starting what the others do.” Leon says annoyed. The last thing he needed was for others to assume he loved Ai Chan like that. It was so stupid of him. Sure he challenged her alot but that didn’t mean he loved her.

Just because she was a girl didn’t mean he had to like her. Sure he liked girls cheering for him and maybe wanted to date one someday but Ai Chan to him was not a girl. She was his rival who just so happened to be a girl. And that's all she would be. Still Rio instead of continuing that train of thought said something that shocked him.

“Oh shoot, sorry to assume, man.” Rio says as Leon looks to him and gives him a surprised look. That was new. “I..kinda know what it’s like to be thought of like that..or others to be thought of like that. And given how much hell Regina puts me and others through with our crushes I guess I shouldn't have done it.” Rio says politely as Leon nods.

“It’s cool man. It’s just that all my friends joke about me liking Ai Chan like that. To be honest I don’t, heck sometimes I forget she is a girl.” Leon says as Rio chuckles. “Guess that’s common in your world too. But yeah..I guess that’s why I was a bit rude earlier.” Rio says as the two keep walking.

“Why’s that?” Leon questions. “Because..I am worried about my girlfriend.” Rio says blushing a bit as Leon smirks. “Oh I see, so that strawberry girl is your girlfriend.” Leon says as Rio sighs.

“Yes she is..well only recently we started to date so I guess it’s kinda still new to me.” Rio says. “I gotcha so that’s why you're so hell bent to save her.” Leon says as Rio nods. “Yes but even if she wasn’t my girlfriend, I would do anything for Ichika. She saved me from my darkness and allowed me to be better and that’s not something I will soon forget.” Rio says as Leon looks interested.

“Save you from darkness?” Leon questions as Rio sighs. “Yeah..don’t freak out but me and my friends are not exactly the cleanest or most moral of people. All of us..we once did things to the Pretty Cures we are not proud of. Myself included since I fought them..I fought Ichika and the others and I hurt and used their families and friends to power my old weapon..all to study the power within all of us.” Rio says as Leon looks shocked.

“Wait, so you did bad things to your team of girls as well?” Leon questions as Rio looks at Leon. “Huh? You as well?” He questions. “Well kinda. Me and the others..we tried kidnapping Hana Chan when she was a baby.” Leon says as Rio looks shocked.

“We wanted to use her to get land back from our world. So we never hurt Hana Chan but we hurt the girls..especially their trust in us. Since we tried to befriend them before betraying them.” Leon says as once again the feeling of pain for what Ai Chan said.

“I see.” Rio says. “Yeah but we did manage to make it up to them somewhat especially after we gave Hana Chan back to them..so I guess I wanna help Ai Chan from whatever this is that took her and the others.” Leon says as Rio nods.

“I agree. I felt so terrible for letting Ichika and the others get attacked by that creature. I only saw it for a second before it fled but..seeing Ichika and my sister and the others all unconscious like that. It’s an image I never wanna see again.” Rio says as Leon nods. “I agree..” Leon says as his memories start up again.

“Pretty Cure….” The creature says as it reaches for Aiko and grabs her. “Ai Chan!” Leon and Momo yell as Aiko looks down at them. “Guys get out here! Momo Chan gets Doremi and the others!” Aiko yells as Momoko nods.

“But what about you?!” Momoko yells in panic as Aiko gets face to face with the creature as its mouth opens. “I don’t know but..” Aiko says before the energy surrounds her as she soon falls asleep. “AI CHAN!!” Leon yells as Momoko looks at him. “Leon Kun, we need to get to Doremi Chan and the others!” Momoko yells as Leon looks and nods.

“Okay..” Leon says before the monster reaches out its vine and captures Momo. “Momo Chan!” Leon yells as the girl screams in panic as the creature does what it did to Aiko and soon the energy collides with her as her eyes fall and close. As it does the creature lets go of both as Aiko and Momoko are grabbed by Leon as he catches both. But as he grabbed both and rested them on the ground the monster soon left and retreated underground.

“Ai Chan! Momo Chan!” Leon yells worriedly as he shakes them but to no avail. They didn’t move or respond even with him shaking as hard as he could.

“I never wanna see that happen to anyone again..especially Ai Chan or even Momoko Chan.” Leon says as Rio nods. “Glad to see we can agree on this. Although we should speed up a little more.” Rio says as Leon smirks. “So you want a race?” Leon questions as Rio smirks back.

“Not really but if that helps you not be a slowpoke I guess you can see it as that.” Rio jokes as Leon growls. “No one calls me a slowpoke.” He says as the two begin to pick up the speed toward their goal. Once at their goal, the wizard and fairy looked down at a crater beneath the two and down in the center was Aiko.

Although she was sitting down cross legged and looking down at the ground. This confused Leon as he looked to Rio. “Well that’s Ai Chan but why is she sitting like that?” Leon questions. “Maybe she’s in a trance.” Rio says as Leon nods. “Okay let me wake her then.” Leon says as Rio grabs his arm.

“Wait it could be dangerous. So take this.” He says handing him a green colored crystal orb of some kind. “What’s this?” He questions holding the item as Rio smirks.

“Think of it as something to keep you safe. Kinda like a good luck charm.” Rio says as Leon nods. “Gotcha thanks.” He says as he begins to scale the side of the cliff down into the crater. Rio nods to this. “Okay i’ll watch your back to make sure no one attacks you. Best of luck with your friend.” Rio says as Leon nods as he starts to walk over to Aiko.

As he does though a fog of some kind begins to appear as soon the crater surroundings vanish as instead he was in some kinda home. It was a common one he saw in the area of Osaka but in front of him was a surprise. One was that Aiko was bowing in front of a picture, and the other was that Aiko was crying although it was mostly silent.

In fact, besides the sounds of bugs in the room, Leon felt he could hear a pin drop in the room. It was honestly a bit too eerie for the Wizards' taste. Yet soon Leon would hear something as Aiko’s voice through her tears could be heard.

“I love you..grandpa.” Aiko says as Leon looks confused before getting a better look at the photo and seeing a photo of an elderly looking man with Aiko in his lap alongside two other people. One an adult male, and the other an adult woman. In the photo all had smiling faces.

“Grandpa?” Leon questions before he gaps. “Right now Ai Chan lives with her grandfather and her parents. But why is she so sad?” He questions as he hears noises behind him. “What the heck?” Leon questions as he opens the door slightly to see two adults in a bedroom. Although given their backs were to him he could not recognize them.

“I’m glad you're happy he’s gone.” The woman says as the man shakes. “I’m not happy. I just think it’s something we should move on from.” He says although his voice was gruff. “Really now! Is that how I should ask if your parents died!?” She yells as he sighs.

“Atsko I..” he says as she grows. “Just leave me and Aiko. You don’t care, it's easy to see. You only agreed to it cause we’d be together. I see your true colors now..” she says as the man grows standing up. “My true colors! I have you know..” he says as Leon soon hears a noise that turns his attention away from the fight.

“Stop…please don’t fight anymore.” Aiko says, sniffing from tears as Leon’s expression softens. This was Ai Chan he was watching yet she was..she was not herself. She was the confident girl he wanted to match and surpass. Instead she was crying and sad.

It reminded him of another time as an image of a hurt Aiko staring him and his friends in the face. “Ai Chan..” he says before a figure opens the door behind him as he soon sees a woman. She was wearing a nursing uniform and had an unfriendly scow on her face.

“Aiko..” the woman says but with no compassion or empathy for Aiko’s current situation. As she spoke Aiko looked over and Leon felt his heart crack. She was blushing red with tears streaming down her face. As she looked to her she ran up to her and hugged her ignoring Leon as he stood to the side.

“Mom..please stop fighting dad. I know he and you are mad but..we can’t get this way..we shouldn’t fight.” Aiko says as her mom barely even touched or said anything seeing Aiko in this state. “Aiko..don’t worry we’re leaving.” She says as Leon and Aiko look at her shocked.

“Le..leaving? But mom we can’t leave dad..I thought..I thought we were a family again right? That’s why you and him remarried.” Aiko says as she seems to freak out more and more as Leon looks to the women only to see her face unchanged.

“Aiko..I’m divorcing your father again. It’s not going to work out. So choose who you want to be with because I’m leaving soon.” She says as Aiko looks at her and backs up. She starts to shake and the tears fall more and more.

“No..please mom not again! I can’t do this not again! Please I thought..I thought you and dad loved each other again. I thought we could be a family again.” She says as Aiko’s mom doesn’t even blink before saying her next lines.

“That was before your grandfather passed..and when your father showed me how horrible he is..I’m done with it. And if you're going to act like this..then I guess I have my answer.” She says as she turns as Aiko looks worried.

“No mom please! Don’t..don’t leave me..” Aiko says before falling to the ground in tears. But as she looks down she’s soon interrupted from her sorrows as a voice yells out.

“Hey LADY, don’t be so mean to your daughter!” Leon yells in full engrish as he stands in between her and the door. As he yells both Aiko and her mom look at him.

“Leon Kun..” Aiko says finally seeing the boy, although her voice is painful to hear. But as for her mother Leon looks to her as she twitches a bit before she ignores him and opens the door knocking Leon to the side as she closes the door.

“Hey lady, open the door! I’m talking to you!” Leon yells as he bangs on the door as nothing seems to open it. As he knocks though soon feels a hand on his back as he looks to see Aiko. “Leon Kun..thank you but..just stop. I..I need to be alone.” She says as she turns around as she does Leon places a hand on her shoulder.

“Ai Chan..please listen to me..it’s not true none of this is true!” He says as Aiko looks down. “No it’s true..thank you for helping to defend me but it’s not gonna work..mom..she..she left me.” Aiko says as Leon frowns.

“Ai Chan don’t get like that! This isn’t real! I know your grandpa and your family live together. He isn’t dead!” He says as he shakes her shoulders. “But he did die..and now my family..is falling apart again..and I can’t do anything.” Aiko says as Leon frowns.

“Ai Chan..” he says as she shakes and keeps crying. “Ai Chan..” Leon says as Aiko shakes more before he takes his hand off her shoulder and does something he never thought he would. “Aiko!” He yells as he wraps his arms around her in a hug as she gaps in shock and looks up to him as he frowns.

“This isn’t like you. Even if you..even if this is real I know you. You're strong! You're my rival for a reason! I hate to admit it but you have always been stronger than me! You're stronger but also hopeful! You helped to make Doremi come back to you guys when she was crushed by Akatsuki. I’m sure if you act like that you can keep your family together! You're too stubborn not to fight back. So please..I know you're strong enough to face this..and even if you can’t I and your other friends can be here for you. Since I’m at your school now, if you need me I can help you. And if you need a shoulder to cry on..then I can be here too, you might be my rival but you're my friend..or I think you are. So please..trust me.” Leon says as tears start to fall from his eyes as Aiko looks at him.

“Leon Kun..I do trust you.” she says shocked before she shakes her head as a smile shows up. As it does a bright flash occurs as Leon and Aiko stand in the area from before as the two break from the hugging session.

“I’m sorry for breaking down. I guess I got caught up in this..whatever that was.” She says as he smiles. “Ai Chan..hehe don’t worry I’m just glad I saved you.” he says happily she nods. “So then can you get us back?” She questions as he nods. “Of course.” He says smiling as he looks at a blue figure walking to them.

“I’m guessing everything went well?” Rio questions as Leon nods. “Yeah thank you for having my back though man.” Leon says as Rio smirks. “Bien sûr, Leon Kun.” Rio says as Leon and Aiko look confused. “Umm what did he say?” Leon questions as Aiko looks confused.

“Not sure. Sounds French though.” Aiko says as Rio sighs. “Right sorry I said of course. Also it seems you didn’t need the crystal so that’s good. Anyway you two should get out of here, I’ll go find Ichika.” Rio says as the two nod.

“Alright let’s get going then Ai Chan.” Leon says as Aiko nods as the two begin to leave the room. As they do, Aiko looks to Leon. “Can you explain what all that was about?” She questions as he laughs. “Well um it’s kinda a long story.” He says as she nods.

“Okay but I would like to know. Still before anything else I wanna say...thank you Leon Kun.” Aiko says as he nods. “You're welcome Ai Chan. I’m just glad to hear you finally trust me.” He says as Aiko blushes a bit. “Not with everything..but maybe Doremi Chan has a good idea to not be entirely untrusting of you guys.” Aiko says as Leon smiles. “Gotcha Ai Chan. At least it's a start.” Leon says as he and Aiko leave the area with both smiling together.

Chapter Text

As the Redemptives, FLAT4 and Hana split off into their groups to explore the maze they find themselves in, each one seems to feel a certain way about the situation. Tooru looks around the maze he entered in but also to his counterpart.

Ruru was someone who he was happy to go with as she seemed to remind the boy of Onpu Chan quite a bit. Given their hair color and way of carrying themselves, although he was also a bit taken aback by how odd she acted. It was like a robot or something.

“I would appreciate it if you do not look at me like that, Torru Kun.” Ruru says without turning around as the boy froze a bit. “Uhh sorry Ruru Chan..how did you..” He started as she turned. “I have eyes in the back of my head as Emiru tells me. Or more so scanners.” Ruru says as Tooru looks confused.

“Scanners?” He questioned. “Oh right I did not explain myself as in depth as some of the others. I am an android.” Ruru says as Tooru looks confused. “An android!?” Tooru yelled in shock as Ruru nodded. “Yes. although now that I remember I don’t think I shared that with Onpu Chan and the others. So she probably didn’t tell you guys.” Ruru says as Tooru was a bit freaked out.

Sure he was used to robots in fiction given some of the auditions he was a part of before his big break with Meada San. But he never saw one so human like Ruru and with such a normal look with her hair, skin, and even outfit. Nothing stood out as odd besides her monotone voice. Still he shook his head and looked at her.

“Oh yeah I guess. Then again me and Onpu Chan don’t really talk too much unfortunately.” He says as Ruru nods. “Makes sense. She did not mention you during our brief time together. So I suppose we have the same lack of knowledge.” Ruru says as Tooru sweat drops.

“Yeah..well um I am a dancer. I tried to be an idol for a bit but I couldn’t really do it. But with the help of Meada San, I have been working on my career as a dancer since that’s what I am good at.” Tooru says while dancing a bit as he moves around Ruru. As he does, Ruru nods.

“You do seem rather graceful in spite of your appearance.” She says as the boy sighs. “Geez Ruru Chan, you're rather blunt.” He says as Ruru nods. “I have been told. I do hope I am not offending you.” She says as he sighs. “It’s cool I guess.” He says as Ruru nods.

“Since you mentioned working as an idol before, I suppose that’s how you met Onpu Chan. I am working towards that goal.” She says as he smiles. “Oh cool no wonder. You are rather cute. Do you do acting or dancing or singing or a mix of all?” He questions as Ruru ignores the flirt and nods. “I mostly sing right now with Emiru. We are in the group called Twin Love.” Ruru says as Tooru smirks.

“Wow, that sounds cool. Guess Onpu Chan helped you a bit when she came here.” Tooru says as Ruru nods. “She wasn’t here too long but she was rather helpful in boosting my confidence. Did she do something similar for you?” Ruru questions as Tooru nods.

“Yep! I mean okay, she wasn’t the most nice with it at first. And I kinda didn’t take her criticism well. But I also feel she..she taught me what an idol of any kind should be. They should be a pro..no matter what.” He says as he flashes to Onpu performing with an injured leg like it was nothing.

“She did seem like a pro with the way she carried herself. Although I do have to question how a wizard like you would meet her and try to become a human idol / dancer. Is that common in your world?” Ruru questions as Tooru frowns.

“Oh..well umm it’s not really. I kinda am the first along with the others in the FLAT4 who go to the human world. Well besides Oyajide San but he’s working in the Witch World.” Tooru says. “Why did you decide to break from tradition?” Ruru questions as Tooru freezes up. “Oh..” He says as she turns to him.

“What is wrong? Why is your heartbeat rising?” She questions as Tooru sighs. “Well, um..alright i’ll tell you the truth but promise you won’t get mad till you hear the full story.” Tooru says as Ruru nods as he sighs. “Well you see me and the others started coming to the human world to umm kidnap Hana Chan.” Tooru says as Ruru stops moving and gives Tooru a shocked look as he raises his hand.

“Hey hey don’t freak out yet let me explain! You see our world was..well it was a mess honestly. It was mostly because of our former king screwing us over thanks to losing a poker game to the Witch Queen of that time. And basically due to that we lost a good amount of our land leaving us with only the barest land and the worst soil for us to grow our plants.” Tooru says as Ruru looks at him less shocked as she listens.

“And without those we wouldn't be alive. Me and my friends along with a few other boys our age were the only ones to be born from the harvest. So by the time we were called on our world was going to go extinct if we didn’t do anything.” Tooru says as Ruru looks confused. “I am sorry to interrupt but you were born from a harvest?” She questions.

“Oh yeah we are born from adult wizards using magic on a seed to then grow into a plant called the Pen Pen plant. With those we can be born so long as the soil is good enough.” He says as Ruru nods. “Understood..please continue.” Ruru says with a softer tone to her voice as Tooru nods.

“Yeah and basically our current king, we thought, needed us to kidnap the witch baby born of the blue rose in order to use her magic to restore our world. Since the witch babies born from it are like uber powerful and usually the future queens of the world. And well Hana Chan was that baby. And we really didn’t do anything to her but while we tried to kidnap her we met Onpu Chan and the others who always stopped us. And eventually we revealed ourselves to the girls to kidnap Hana Chan one last time. We would have to if not for Doremi Chan fighting back as hard as she did and Akatsuki Kun choosing to give up. Because of that we decided to work with them and then help to save Hana Chan when some other wizards appeared to kidnap her anyway.” Tooru says as Ruru nods.

“So you received redemption through that action.” Ruru says with a smile as Tooru looks confused but nods. “I mean yeah kinda. Although I didn’t know that’s the word for it. How did you..” He says as Ruru smiles. “Because I am one myself.” Ruru says as Tooru looks confused.

“What? Like a redemptive person? What did you do to have to redeem yourself?” He questioned as Ruru nodded. “Yes..I was once a general of the Crasu Corporation. And was tasked with destroying Hana and the others. So I worked my way to living with Hana’s family for a brief time to use this to gather knowledge on her and the others and then attempted to backstab them. Only for my own control to be taken from me when I decided to not go with the plan.” Ruru says as she frowns, feeling the memories of the sparks that turned her off when she helped Homare.

“But Hana made me realize my own feelings and helped to make me come back to them and not follow my programing anymore. And with that and Emiru’s forgiveness I became a Pretty Cure and soon a Redemptive.” Ruru says as Tooru looks shocked but smiles. “So I guess you don’t think I am all that bad given my own story?” He questioned as Ruru nodded.

“Yes I do not. I can see where you are coming from. And while my emotions at first made me feel..unnerved by you kidnapping Hana Chan. Knowing your reason for it makes me understand you a bit more and sympathize with your past.” She says as Tooru smiles.

“It’s kinda nice to say it to someone who knows my side of it. I know Onpu Chan seems better than Ai Chan in terms of what I did but I do worry she isn’t happy with me. So I tried to impress her a bit to help her see I have changed.” Tooru says as he flashes to an earlier encounter.

“Tooru Kun? You're the new dancing student Meada San has enrolled here?” Onpu questions as Tooru smirks to her in his school uniform while on stage at the school’s dancing gym. “Hehe hey Onpu Chan! I didn’t know you’d come by this school! But yeah hehe shocked aren’t you? Guess I look pretty cool huh?” He questions as Onpu sighs.

“Well both school’s take turns using this stage for after school lessons. And my school has it around 5:00, but I had time so I stopped by. As for you being his student, not particularly.” She says as the boy's sweat drops as she looks at him. “Still I am surprised you managed to get Meada San to help you out.” She says as he smirks.

“Yep! He saw me perform for an audience during a talent scouting and made me his student along with a few of the others. And I won his little contest to get a spot in the school.” Tooru says as Onpu nods.

“That is rather impressive. Although has he heard you sing yet?” She questions with a giggle as he blushes. “Um..yeah. He told me to never do it while here..even though I don’t think my singing is that bad.” Tooru says as Onpu giggles. “Tooru Kun, you sing worse than anyone I have ever met.” Onpu says as Tooru falls over.

“But..you do have talent for dance so I hope you can make it work for you.” Onpu says as Tooru smiles. “Aw thanks Onpu Chan! I promise I will someday be as big as you! So don’t fall along the way!” He says with a bit of a chuckle as Onpu rolls her eyes.

“I should tell you that but..I guess it’s good you're still as optimistic as ever.” Onpu says with a smirk before giving a genuine smile as he smiles back. Before the ground beneath them shakes as both look confused as a hole opens in the stage. “AHHH!” Onpu and Tooru yell in shock as a plant-like monster appears and looks down at Onpu.

“Pretty Cure…” It says as Onpu looks shocked and Tooru is confused, that is before the monster grabs hold of Onpu. “AHH!” She yells surprised as Tooru rushes over. “Let go of her!” Tooru yells using magic to summon wind to try and knock it over but the creature barely flinches. “Ahh Tooru Kun run! This thing is from Ha..” Onpu says before a black like energy escapes the creatures mouth and envelopes Onpu.

As it does her mouth closes as her eyes close. With this the creature lets go as Tooru jumps and catches Onpu as the creature escapes into the hole it came from. “Onpu Chan? ONPU CHAN!! Wake Up! Wake Up, Onpu Chan!” Tooru yells in fear as he shakes and yet she doesn’t respond.

As he thinks of this Tooru looks down before smirking and having his head held high. “Which is why I won’t let her be used by the Majo Torubillion’s Brambles like mine and her world was.” Tooru says as Ruru looks at him.

“So these Majo Torubillion’s Brambles affected your world as well?” Ruru questions as Tooru nods. “Yeah it sucked…me and my world got all caught up in this nightmare we couldn’t wake up from. But Onpu Chan and the others saved us so..i’ll do my best to save her as well!” Tooru says as Ruru nods.

“I can agree with that. Emiru is the one I wish to save and I won’t allow anyone to put her in danger.” Ruru says as Tooru smirks. “I guess we are a lot alike after all Ruru Chan.” Tooru says as Ruru nods. “I suppose Tooru Kun.” She says as the two nod and turn to the front of them. As they do they see a crater below them and almost nothing at the bottom. Besides slight fog and a certain purple haired idol walking though it.

“Onpu Chan!” Both Tooru and Ruru yelled seeing their friend. “Hmm..my sensors indicate that she is surrounded by some toga power. So I would suggest caution in waking her.” Ruru says as Tooru nods. “Gotcha. My magic might help me wake her up so let me go.” Tooru says as Ruru nods.

“Affirmative. Though before that take this.” She says as Tooru looks confused by the turquoise colored crystal orb he was handed. “What is this?” He questions as she looks at him. “It’s something for your protection. However, don’t worry, for I shall watch your back while you are down there.” She says as her arms shift as soon it becomes a rather large laser gun as Tooru looks shocked.

“Right..I gotcha Ruru Chan.” Tooru says as he soon makes his way to slide down the hill of the crater. Once he is in the bottom he walks into the fog using magic to blow it a bit away from him as he sees a purple blurr. “Onpu Chan!” He yells as he soon sees her on her knees. “Onpu Chan?” He questions before a flash occurs.

Once it does he sees he’s in a dressing room of some kind. As he looks around he sees a door and opens it to see himself in the backstage area. “Weird..where is she? She was right here for a seco..” He says before he hears the loudspeakers chime.

“Here she is folks singing her famous song, We Can Do, ONPU CHAN!” Tooru hears as he looks shocked. “Onpu Chan is performing?” He questions as he walks close and sees the stage through a curtain. There Onpu is with a rather pretty outfit and a mic in hand as she begins to walk up a pair of steps to the top with the doorway open.

“Huh..Onpu Chan is dreaming of performing? I guess that makes sense..but why was she kneeling?” He questions before he is broken out of his thoughts by a sound. It sounded like wood was shaking. As he looked up and Onpu made her way to the top of the step her left foot bumped against the shaky wood as her foot soon slipped. Time froze for Tooru as he watches as her body goes backwards and her back falls to the stairs and soon rushing down them at a fast speed before reaching the bottom with a thud.

All the way down he horrifying hears Onpu screams of terror as she tumbles down it as people immediately rush to her side. Meanwhile, Tooru freezes seeing this. Onpu’s scream was so terrifying it made him sick to his stomach. But soon he feels the energy to move again before he is once again in another room. This time looking like a hospital as he faces a sorrowful sight.

Onpu is in a wheelchair as a doctor and her mom stand nearby. “It would seem she is in good condition to leave soon. She will have to use the wheelchair for a bit longer but in a year I feel she will be able to move her legs again. Although I am worried..by her mental state.” He says as Onpu faces him with a blank look on her face.

“Oh don’t worry. But thank you doctor.” Her mother says although her voice is off to the boy. Not that he ever heard her before but she was so void of emotion despite her daughter being in a wheelchair. “Very well. I will leave you with her Segewa San.” He says before leaving the room.

As he does, Onpu’s mother faces her. “Onpu Chan..” She says as she turns to her. “Yes..mama.” She says although her voice is rather weak. “I think we should reconsider your career.” She says as Tooru jumps in shock. “Mama..why?” She questions although her voice is barley above normal speech despite her own panicked look.

“Because of your voice and your body sweetie. You might be able to heal but even in this year we have so many other idols rising up. We have Kanoko Chan, Mayu Chan, and especially Karen Chan. And if you're in that wheelchair for a year you can’t perform, only record new songs or tracks. And even then your voice is so weak from the year of not speaking due to the rupture in your lungs.” She says as Onpu looks down.

“I think your time as an idol is done my dear.” She says as Onpu starts to tear up. “But..but..I worked so hard..I..I can..can come back..” She says although her mother sighs. “Honestly, dear you're too stubborn. Listen, you can be like me and become a disappointment in your idoling, but I am sure you can work hard to do what I do for your own child in the future. Maybe then I'd have an actually successful grandchild in the future.” She says with a sideways look as Tooru gave her a glare for what she was saying.

This was Onpu Chan’s mother? What the hell! How could someone as kind as Onpu is to Hana be raised by these women? He thought as she soon laid her eyes on him causing him to freeze a bit by the look she gave. It was a slight twitch before she looked back down.

“Although I suppose you have a guest. I will leave you alone for now..just remember what I said.” She says as she looks to the door and opens it leaving Onpu and Tooru in the room. As she does, Onpu looks up and gives a shocked cough.

“Tooru Kun?” She questions before coughing as Tooru rushes over to her. “Onpu Chan!” He says worriedly as she looks down. “I guess you saw that..” She says weakly and embarrassed as Tooru nods.

“Onpu Chan listen none of this is real!” He says as Onpu looks confused. “But..I went through the accident..and my recovery.” Onpu says as Tooru frowns. “No please listen this is not true. You didn’t get into an accident and never will! It’s all fake.” Tooru says as Onpu looks down.

“But..what if this does happen.” Onpu says as Tooru frowns. “No way! Your mother is totally wrong! Besides, she would never be this cold to you!” He says reassuringly as Onpu looks into his eyes. “No..Tooru Kun..mama was cold because this happened to her too. And she..she still found a good job. So I guess I can do it as well. When this happens.” Onpu says weakly as Tooru frowns.

“But you're an idol. You can give up.” He yells as Onpu glares. “I know..and sometimes an idol should give up when they are a failure.” Onpu says as Tooru frowns. “Onpu Chan..Onpu Chan!” Tooru says as he lifts her head up with his finger. As the two eyes look into each other he smiles.
“You're never a failure. You're an amazing idol and a great person. You work so hard and have become so big. I haven’t met a single person yet in this industry who didn’t know you and how great you are. From the others in Meada San’s training to just the first of class at school. And they all think the same as me. You are a shining star in this industry. Besides, even if this happened in real life I am sure you can bounce back from it..especially since.” Tooru says as the twicks at the top of his hair bounce up and down as a puff of smoke occurs.

As it clears the room fills with blue colored people both of them know. Doremi, Hazuki, Aiko, Momoko, Oyajide, Fujio, Leon, Akatsuki, and a ton of students she recognized from their school.

“I am not sure if everyone of these classmates of yours like you but I am sure they think you're just as amazing as I do and will never give up on you. So believe me..you will not become like this. You're not like your mother. You are gonna be an idol, a singer, and an actress because you are a shining star. Because you..are a pro, Onpu Chan.” He says genuinely as Onpu’s eye widened.

“Tooru Kun..” She says as she tears up a bit and looks at the others. “Everyone..thank you.” She says as her voice starts to sound more normal as the world around them fades into light.

Soon Tooru is with Onpu as she is now standing and holding his hand. As her and his eyes open she smiles. “It..it was a nightmare..I can walk..and my voice..it’s normal again.” Onpu says as she lets go of Tooru and walks around the area smiling all the way.

“I’m glad..” Tooru says, wiping a little tear from his eye. “Onpu Chan!” Ruru yells as she rushes to her and Tooru from the cliffside. “Ruru Chan?” Onpu questions confused before the robot girl hugged her. “I am glad to see you are okay.” Ruru says happily as Onpu smiles.

“Thank you Ruru Chan, although wait why are you here? And why was I in that nightmare with my mom? And where are we?” Ruru questions as Tooru smiles. “It’s a long story but I guess we can explain while we look for Emiru Chan.” Tooru says as Ruru nods and Onpu looks confused.

“I guess so. Knowing us it’s probably crazy. But either way, thank you Ruru Chan and Tooru Kun.” Onpu says as Ruru and Tooru look at Onpu and nod. “Of course Onpu Chan.” Ruru says. “Yeah we’d do anything for you!” Tooru says as Onpu smiles before smirking.

“I see..so would you sing for Ruru Chan and Me?” She questions as the boy blushes. “You can sing Tooru Kun?” Ruru questions as Tooru blushes. “I..um..kinda..hehe.” Tooru laughs off as Onpu giggles and Ruru looks confused at the two but smiles anyway.
