it was a long day, but finally, they could rest and take a break. Finn and chow were sitting in a small fast-food restaurant after a day of work. hard work. Jackie Chan kicked their butts, and they were tired "I cannot wait to get home and sleep" Finn said as he took a bite of fries,
"me too," Chow said and repeated the redhead's actions. there was a small pause "man it'd be so cool if we didn't have to go on crazy jobs all the time. I'd like to go on a nice vacation, far, far, away" Finn said "agreed. we should get out of here one day" Chow said
"we? as in just us?" chow thought, he blushed at the thought and took a drink of his soda.
"Are you good dude? your kinda red" Finn asked "is he blushing? no there's no way." he thought "oh uh yeah I'm fine bro" chow said and slightly laughed.
"ah geez, I need to chill. he CANT find out I like him more than friends" chow thought and looked at Finn who took the last bite of his burger "I'm just about done, are you ready?" Finn asked as he wiped his mouth off and leaned back
"yeah pretty much," chow said and got up to stretch
"ow," chow said and rubbed his arm "are you okay?" Finn asked while getting up and held chows shoulder
"yeah- uh Finn?" chow said and turned red "oh! uh sorry" Finn let go of his shoulder and turned red as well, they walked out of the restaurant. it was a quiet walk but nice.
"Should I ask him?" chow thought. he wanted to tell Finn so badly but he was so worried about how he would react. "so remember how you said we should get out of here? where do you think we would go?" chow ask and looked up at Finn
"hm probably somewhere nice, with nothing weird. like Florida or Hawaii. with a small house just for us! Ratso could come too if he wants. and it's right on the beach, as long as there are no hurricanes or tsunami things" he said and seemed to enjoy talking about it chow smiled and blushed
"well, that sounds great. it'd make a perfect getaway date" chow said but soon regretted it
"What?" Finn said "DATE? I meant like when date- not a date date"
chow broke eye contact and looked the other way. he was freaking out "did I seriously just say that? I'm an idiot- big dumb idiot," he thought
"yknow, it would make a great date" Finn smiled and looked at Chow
"does this mean he likes me? or did he actually mean to say when is the date?" Finn thought, chow looked up at him
"really?" chow asked and scratched his neck "yeah. we should totally go. yknow just a 'when is the date' type of date though" Finn laughed and chow was relieved
"yeah." chow thought for a sec "that would be a good idea since I kinda like you" he wanted to stop talking, he blushed really hard "really? That's great because I like you too- and just to be clear, I like-like you"
Finn slightly punched Chow's shoulder and chuckled and chow did as well. they finally made it home. and sat on the couch eventually falling asleep.
