Chapter Text
It’s a beautiful February afternoon. The air is chilly, yet not unwelcome to those in the Todoroki-Himura Family. Except for one Midoriya Izuku. The Pro Hero has never been too fond of winter weather, it makes patrol all the more grueling. Due to the minimal crime that occurs now that All For One and the League of Villains’ reign of terror has ended, walking around in the cold with not much to do besides sign the occasional fanboy’s Deku merchandise isn’t the green eyed Hero’s favorite thing in the world.
That title goes to Todoroki Shouto, fellow Top Hero and Izuku’s long term boyfriend. The two are Japan’s No.1 Power Couple despite keeping their relationship out of the spotlight.
Today is different, however. Not only is it their 4 year anniversary, the couple is having dinner with Shouto’s family tonight to celebrate his eldest brother getting a job. Todoroki Touya, formerly known as A-rank Villain Dabi, has been going through rehabilitation for the past 6 years, healing from his burns and his past to move forward. His siblings and mother are very proud of him for making this big stride.
Touya has been living with Takami Keigo, former No.2 Hero Hawks, during his rehabilitation. It’s obvious to everyone except each other that there’s mutual feelings.
“Shou, where are we having dinner?” Izuku asks his boyfriend, who’s currently slurping some soba.
“My mom’s house, she feels it’s best to take things slow and going out would be too much” Shouto replies.
Izuku stifles a laugh, remembering the first time he had dinner with the Todoroki family and just how disastrous it was.
He’s glad the family is happier now.
Since it was a slow day, both Pros went home early, but just in time to start getting ready for dinner. Since it’s just at Rei’s home, the two decide to wear casual outfits, Izuku wearing Shouto’s favorite sweater, while the latter wears a simple long sleeve and a coat.

Todoroki Fuyumi arrives at her mother’s house 3 hours early to help her prepare. Her years of cooking for her younger brothers have certainly made her an excellent cook, and Fuyumi is always more than willing to help out however she can.
She walks up to the gate of the property, and smiles at the “Himura Residence” plaque before going inside. Rei took her maiden name once again, following the divorce from Todoroki Enji. She’s been thriving since then, and is content to just be in her children’s lives and see them happy.
“Hello, Fuyumi” the older woman says with a soft smile.
“Hi, Mom! Ready to cook?” the schoolteacher enthusiastically replies.
And so, mother and daughter begin making Touya’s favorite foods while talking about his obvious crush on Keigo, and Fuyumi’s upcoming 2-year anniversary with Usagiyama Rumi, former No.5 Hero, Mirko.
~~~~~~~
Todoroki Touya sneezed.
‘That’s weird. I don’t get sick’ he thinks to himself.
“Hey, you know what they say about sneezes?” Keigo asks, with a slight grin on his face. Touya can’t help but look into his beautiful golden eyes before realizing Keigo asked him a question.
“N-No?” He replies, hoping Keigo didn’t notice his prolonged eye contact.
“Someone’s talking about you” Keigo says while chuckling.
Touya looks on as Keigo is laughing to himself. ‘He’s so pretty..’ he thinks to himself.
“We should probably get going if we want to make it to my Mom’s place on time. It’d be weird if I was late, since I’m the reason we’re getting together” Touya says, hoping to distract himself from thinking of his dear friend in that way.
“Yes! Just let me grab my jacket and we can go” the gold-haired former Hero replies, upbeat as ever.
Touya doesn’t see the fuss in celebrating him getting a job. He’s going to be working part-time at a library, a simple enough job to ease himself into normal adult life. He checks his appearance in the mirror, making sure he looks good before leaving. He’s wearing a casual outfit, dark jeans and a grey sweater. He notices Keigo looking at him in the reflection, but Touya quickly looks away before noticing the soft blush on the former Hero’s face.
They leave wordlessly, locking the door to their apartment and walking to the train station.
