Chapter Text
In a small alleyway kept away in a small neighborhood, a crowd can be heard cheering on a single person, balling up on the ground in part embarrassment and part fear. A person that catches everyone's attention in all the bad ways. Marshall; a neglected part of his friend group that he just can't leave for whatever reason. The cheers start to get louder, as his body stiffens up more and more, tears running down the plastic head he was condemned to for the rest of his life. Being forced to call a phone sex hotline, he tried resisting until he had enough of all the bullying he had taken from his friends. "N-nghhh… do I r-really have to do this for you all?" The laughter got louder, and Marshall's hatred got worse. He tried his best to get up with the strength he had left, his bones threatening to snap with every step he took.
Fully standing upright, he brushed the filthy sidewalk off of his jacket and tie as his friends backed away from him. Tension grew more and more with each inch his hand reached for his outdated 'smartphone', which in actuality was just an old Samsung he found at a pawn shop. "I can't even believe I'm still with you guys…" He quietly mumbled to himself under his breath, every push of a button leading him closer and closer to life being known as a 'desperate no-lifer'. Punching in all 17 numbers, he sighed to himself as he pressed call.
"Hey, I'm Randy, and I am feeling Randy for YOU tonight… God, I hate saying that…"
"...Hi..? Sorry I'm wasting your time, I was kinda forced… here..?"
All of a sudden, the shouting started once again, now taking their shenanigans to a whole new level and made Marshall suffer even more. At that moment, he was then being pressured to take him out on a date, which understandably freaked the poor guy out. He quickly put the phone on hold and turned towards his friends, rushing every breath he took.
"I am NOT DOING THIS! ARE YOU GUYS INSANE?!?"
He tried desperately to think of what to say, but all that came out was incoherent gibberish.
"YOU ALREADY SET ME ONTO THIS DAMN CALL! I DON'T WANNA DATE HIM-"
His begs for mercy were in vain, as the pressure quickly overcame him, leaving him no choice. As he picked his phone back up, he got Randy back on the phone with sweaty palms.
"Hey… I know this unexpected but…"
"Will you go on a date with me?"
Randy's heart started pumping faster than ever being able to go on a date with somebody for the first time in forever. With his eyes wide open and his energy through the roof, he quickly replied back like a manchild.
"A-Are you serious?!? Going on a date? W-With me? I WOULD LOVE TO!!!"
"Can you take tomorrow? Or the day after that? WHENEVER'S FINE WITH ME!"
"I guess I could go for tomorrow..?"
As Randy's excited screaming could be heard in the distance of his phone, Marshall's expectations were slowly rising, but he was still unsure of what would happen the next day.
