Ethan and Danhausen finish the vlog and Ethan takes both phones and tosses them onto the pile of clothing that they have to the side. Danhausen has a new figure as well sitting on the bedside table.
D looks at him and smirks. “You do have nice thighs.”
Ethan smirks and looks at D. “of course that's what you notice.”
D moves and sits in Ethan's lap and curls up tightly against him. “Well, you are Danhausen's favorite human.”
Ethan holds him closely and kisses his hair. “I am honored to be your favorite human.”
D yawns and nuzzles more into Ethan. Ethan watches his submissive look happily out the window. Ethan's thoughts are drawn to the past.
Ethan glares at D's dominate, who is berating D. The dominate often does this in public to humiliate D. Ethan hates him for it. Ethan had a sub once and he would never dream of doing that. It just harms the sub. Also what the dominant was saying.
“Why can't you just be normal!?!” D's dominant snaps and shoves D backward.
Warhorse, who is standing beside Ethan on the side, looks ready to murder the man and in fact reaches for his cup. Ethan's hand comes out and holds the cup down.
Warhorse snaps though at Ethan. “Let me... I'm sick of how he treats him.”
Ethan whispers. “D would never forgive you if you kill him.”
Warhorse and Ethan's head snap to the sound of skin hitting skin. D is holding his cheek as his dominant storms away. Ethan walks over and gently holds onto D's shoulder. He gently moves D's hand to make sure he's ok.
Danhausen speaks softly. “It's Danhausen's fault. He is too different. People get tired of him. He needs to do better. He needs to be more normal.”
Ethan watches and speaks softly his thumb running along D's jawline as he inspects D's cheek. “Danhausen is perfect the way he is.”
Warhorse is furious and wants to yell and swear but he just lets Ethan talk. Warhorse knows that Ethan wants D and wants Ethan to take the boy in. He wants D taken care of not hurt.
D shakes his head. “no if Danhausen was .. he would love Danhausen.”
Ethan grips his one hand into a fist.
D though just pulls away slowly. He keeps muttering “Danhausen is so stupid.”
Ethan finally has enough and gently gripped the side of D's face and makes him look at him. “Danhausen is perfect the way he is. You are beautiful and perfect the way you are.”
Danhausen looks at him with tears in his eyes. “why doesn't.. he love me then.”
Warhorse snaps. “because he is an asshole.”
D looks at Warhorse and whispers. “No one loves Danhausen.”
Ethan looks down at him and speaks firmly. “I love Danhausen.”
D stops and looks confused.
Ethan whispers. “I love you.”
D stops and whispers. “you love Danhausen?”
Ethan nods and pulls D against his chest.
D shakes his head. “you will get tired of Danhausen and .. leave...”
Ethan tips Danhausen's chin to look at him. “Danhausen you are mine and I have known you for years. I will never be tired of you.”
D's tears come again. “yours?”
Ethan nods.
Danhausen's Dominate yells. “What the fuck.”
D looks scared and Ethan just looks frustrated and turns to look at the man. Ethan's body language is daring the man to continue. Warhorse watches and picks up his cup again. Warhorse was ready to act, in fact, he would welcome it right now.
The dominant sees this and backs up. “Have the freak.”
D clings to Ethan as he watches as his former dominant leaves.
Ethan holds D close and then looks down at him. “Love you brat.”
D smiles brightly up at Ethan “Danhausen loves you.”
Ethan remembers the months it took to convince D that he wasn't like that man. D finally just seemed to settle happily into the relationship one day. He sometimes still clings to Ethan tightly and needs Ethan to reassure him that he isn't going anywhere.
Ethan knew Warhorse got a hold of the guy behind the scenes. Allie had told him one day the dominant was bloody and beaten backstage. She also hated that man. She might have kicked him a couple of times while he was down. He never told D and D never mentioned it if he knows about it.
