Rin groaned when he woke up and was met with a familiar pounding in his head.
Even though he woke up with an headache, he still stared at his boyfriend who was sleeping next to him. His annoyingly handsome boyfriend. Perhaps he smiled, just a little.
Getting out of bed was quite difficult, especially if your boyfriend was clinging to you like a koala. The grip on his waist tightened even more when he tried to move again.
He grumbled a few curses until he realized that he had no chance of escaping Shidou's grip, he really just had to wait for his boyfriend to wake up huh? I mean, he can't just wake his dead boyfriend since he looked so peaceful sleeping.
Rin looked at their clock. 5:11AM
It's still early, he might as well take a quick nap. He really, really wants green tea already...
When he woke up, he noticed that Shidou wasn't by his side, he also noticed that sleeping didn't ease his headache.
The pounding still in his head and his boyfriend nowhere to be found. The worse.
Rin forced himself up then flopped at the bed again, he tried again and again and again until he was able to stand up.
Going to the kitchen seemed like a eternal walk. He tried to find any traces of Shidou's scent but it was all dense, he must've left a few hours ago then.
Rin sighed and snatched the green tea from the cabinet above. He boiled the water already and only needed to wait. He sat on the chair and rested his chin on his palm.
The headache was still there and it worsened every minute, a familiar heat pooling in his abdomen. If Rin guesses then he must be in heat right now since it's one out of the many symptoms of a starting heat and he was certain that headache wasn't one of them.
He perked up when the kettle started whistling, he stood up and held on the kitchen counter while trying to massage his temples as he walks. Not even noticing that he was practically swaying and he almost fell.
He was too unfocused. His vision was kind of blurry and the headache worsened. He didn't even notice the opening of the door and the jingling of keys. Quick footsteps approached the kitchen and his one and only boyfriend appeared. Yet, he didn't notice him.
"Aye aye! Rin!" Shidou grabbed the kettle from Rin's hand before he could even raise it.
"Ryuu?" Rin tilts his head innocently and approached Shidou. He instantly hugged and snuggled the crook of the others neck, inhaling the scent of black coffee and cranberry.
"Rin?" He settled the kettle on the counter and snaked his hands to the omegas waist, also inhaling the scent of cinnamon buns and dark chocolate. He rested his chin on the latter's shoulder blades.
"Headache and heat..." Rin mumbled with a voice that almost no one could hear.
Shidou frowned at Rin's answer, "Isn't it too early for your heat though? Do you need meds for the headache?"
Rin only nodded and dozed a little at the alpha's neck.
"What about your tea? Ya still gonna drink it?" Shidou poured the hot water in the mug that was with green tea that Rin had already prepared.
Shidou shuffled at all the cabinets he found, messing almost everything that was organized in those cabinets. Rin really was gonna kill him when he will be in the right state of mind later.
Rin didn't speak and only hummed in reply. Shidou nodded and carried Rin with the mug on his hand then carried them to the couch. He guided Rin's slender fingers to the mug and Rin didn't hesitate to gulp a huge one.
"Whoa Rin! Slow down, it's hot." Rin only had a frown displayed in his face.
"What? 's there something wrong with yer tea?"
"Lukewarm." Shidou almost felt like laughing.
"It's so fucking hot though?" Rin only shrugged and abandoned the mug.
"Meds.." Rin stared at Shidou with those beautiful teal eyes that was lidded with tiredness and lust. It made Shidou blush a little, and giggle too.
Shidou guided the pill to the others mouth and then handed Rin the mug. After gulping it all quickly, he looked at Shidou. With DOE eyes at that.
"Baby... Can you take me to our bedroom? Please?" Shidou felt himself blush at the sudden pet name and how could he say no to Rin's request when he was giving him a sexy kind of look.
He picked up Rin in a bridal style, regardless of the omega being taller than him, he can still pick him up quite easily.
Rin pressed his own body even closer to Shidou, even though they were already really close.
"My Alpha so strong and handsome..." Rin sang in a drunken like manner while cupping Shidou's pecs and giving him a lot of kisses on the neck. Making Shidou drop his guard so much that he almost dropped Rin. He feels like giggling and kicking his feet into the air like when a high schooler got their crush's response.
"Hn.. Rin Rin shouldn't really say those words while I'm carrying him."
Rin laughed quietly and slowly dozed off on Shidou's arms even though it was only a short walk. They arrived at the bedroom and Shidou organized the pillow to what Rin wanted before putting him to the bed.
When Rin felt the familiar bed with the mixed scent of his and Shidou's, he didn't hesitate to nuzzle into it and scent it again. Rin felt Shidou rest beside him and turned to look at him.
They both looked at each other while the alpha slowly approached him with an ugly pout in his face which made Rin laugh.
"Rin Rin is always laughing at my pout." Rin only smiled and kissed those pouting lips of Shidou.
"Maybe you'll be the one pouting soon when I get you pregnant Rin Rin~!" Shidou sang teasingly while Rin felt his whole body blush. He slapped the alpha's chest and pushed him away.
"I'm only joking Rin~" Rin only ignored Shidou and turned away from him. He swatted the others hand when Shidou tried to cup his chin.
The two ended drifting asleep together, linked to each other like a puzzle piece that was meant to be together.
