Chapter Text

You and Stan Marsh had been friends since elementary school. You had grown up together and shared countless memories, from playing kickball during recess to sneaking out to the local amusement park when you were in high school.

But things started to change when you both graduated and went off to college. You went to a university on the East Coast, while Stan stayed closer to home and attended a school in Colorado.

You both tried to keep in touch, but the distance and different experiences began to strain your friendship. You found yourself growing apart, and it wasn't until a few years later that you reconnected.

It was a summer evening when you ran into Stan at a local coffee shop. You were both surprised to see each other but happy to catch up. You talked about your lives, your careers, and your relationships.

As you shared stories about your love life, you couldn't help but notice a hint of jealousy in Stan's eyes. You asked him what was wrong, and he hesitated for a moment before confessing that he had always had feelings for you.

You were surprised but flattered. You had never thought of Stan in that way, but as you looked at him, you realized that he was still the same sweet and caring guy you had known since childhood.

You both decided to give it a shot, and soon you were dating. It was a bit awkward at first, but you quickly fell into a comfortable routine. You went on dates, watched movies, and spent lazy Sundays together.

But as the months went by, you started to notice small things that bothered you. Stan would get jealous when you talked to other guys, or he would be moody for no reason. You tried to talk to him about it, but he would always brush it off, saying that he was just stressed or tired.

It wasn't until a big fight that you realized what was really going on. Stan had been struggling with anxiety and depression, and he didn't know how to express his feelings. He had been bottling everything up, and it was affecting your relationship.

You sat down and had a long talk, and slowly but surely, you both worked through your issues. It wasn't easy, but you both knew that your friendship was worth it. You started going to therapy together and found ways to communicate better.

Years later, as you stood at the altar, ready to marry Stan, you couldn't help but feel grateful for your friendship. You had been through so much together, and it had only made you stronger. As you said your vows, you knew that your bond would only continue to grow, and that you would always be there for each other, no matter what.
