Work Text:

*sigh*

"What do you mean you can't fetch me today?"

Yeonjun said with a stern voice. He was at his university and he asked his dad to fetch him today. It was already 8pm and he was tired from all the work he did; being in the student council, working on a miniature project, president of the school dance club, let's just say he had a long hard day being a 3rd year in uni.

"I can't today. I told you it's me and your mom's date night and you know how she is with these things."

"Fine. I'll just commute by myself. At least give me something in return after your date." He pouted.

"Haha! Sure sure! I gotta go, your mom's calling me. Take care~"

"mmmkay love you." He put down his phone and sighed. He really wanted to go home faster since all the fatigue he felt made him want to dive into his bed and just shut down.

"Bye guys! See you on Monday~"

He waved to his friends and walked out of the gates while finding the nearest station. He didn't really want to commute all the way home because it takes him 45mins, but since there weren't a lot of people on the bus he could at least take a moment off there.

He sat by the the far end of the bus by the window and wandered off on his own little world about what he'll do when he gets home and some thoughts about school here and there when suddenly a figure catches his eye.

The bus was about to shut its doors when someone ran to get inside at the last minute. The said boy huffed and checked his things to make sure he didn't drop anything and walked by the aisle as he sat in the middle close to him on the far end of the bus.

The whole ride home has normal or rather calming, but not for Yeonjun. He noticed that the boy who was just a seat away from him was pretty— No scratch that, gorgeous!

'His porcelain skin, his blonde hair, and his pouty cupid like lips. He might be an eye candy to a lot of girls.' he wondered.

He couldn't look at him directly so he used the reflection of the window to look while the other was rummaging through his things.

As minutes went by the bus was already getting a bit crowded since a lot are going home for the weekends. On instinct the boy moved himself close to Yeonjun.

"oh I'm sorry" the boy whispered and looked at Yeonjun.

"I-It's fine!"

'his voice is so deep' He thought and shook his head to stop him from being captivated by the boy beside him.

20 minutes in and Yeonjun was slowly feeling a bit woozy because of the stress he had felt the whole day. On impulse he rested his head on the boy's shoulder making the other's eyebrow raise and move himself a bit to make Yeonjun comfortable.

Waking himself by the alarm he set he looked at where the bus had stopped, only two stops to go for his destination. He looked on his right and noticed the boy staring at him while a blush was slowly creeping in on his cheeks.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Oh my God I didn't mean to lean on you. I'm really sorry I—"

"It's fine. Don't worry about it" the boy said and smiled which made Yeonjun sigh in relief.

A few minutes before he reached his destination he was already walking down the aisle. He felt a bit sad because he won't be able to see the cute boy again...then a bitter smile formed when he remembered that he embarrassingly put his head on his shoulder.

As the doors opened he noticed it was starting to rain hard and sighing because he forgot his umbrella in school. He was about to step out of the bus when suddenly an umbrella was already hovering over him. It was the boy who sat beside him.

"Here. Take my umbrella I'll just run over to my apartment." The boy smiled and ran with his bag on top of his head, but Yeonjun felt a bit guilty and thought the boy might get sick.

"Hey! I—"

"Don't worry! My apartment is just close by! At least we have an excuse to see each other again." He winked and ran off to the building in front of the bus station.

Yeonjun was left confused then giggled and walked away towards their street remembering the boy's uniform. He realized that they were at the same university and his name tag had "Choi 'something' " on it.

"If a cutie like that goes to our school, why don't I know him?" He pouted as he reached their house. He was greeted by his brother with a sly smile.

"What's with that face, hyung? You saw someone cute, didn't you?" His brother grinned.

"I probably did. Now You! Shut up about it!"

"Fine by me. But you'll never get rid of that blush on your face~~"

"SHUT UP BEOMGYU!!!"

As he shut the door to his room while a loud laugh was heard outside. He sighed and looked at the window.

"I hope we do get a chance to see each other again"
