I stretched my arms and yawned slightly while I looked around. I was at the library since 4pm studying for my calculus exam and I think I've set an alarm for an hour?
'That was a really good nap' I thought to myself then looked at the window and quickly averted my gaze at my watch.
"WTF I DIDN'T KNOW IT'S ALREADY 7:50PM!?"
I put my things back into my bag and ran out of the library. Good thing this is open till 10pm or else I'd have to sleep inside. I rushed to go to the nearest bus station and got in just in time.
"Thank God."
I walked by the aisle while checking my bag if I missed something and automatically sat on my usual spot which is the back by the window on the right, but as soon as I sat down on the middle I already saw someone was already seated at my spot.
'I guess I'll have to sit here.'
5 minutes in and I was ready to doze off again so I decided to pull out my phone and earphones, and listened to some music. While rummaging through my bag I suddenly dropped something on the ground, I was about to get it when the guy who's seated at by the window got it for me.
"Here" he smiled and got back from his seat.
"Thanks" I whispered, but he might not heard it.
'Who is this beautiful being and why am I blessed to see him tonight!?' I looked at him again and wondered where I've seen him from. I shook that thought away and got back to what I was doing.
A few minutes have passed and we were slowly getting crowded inside.
'right, it's friday' I sighed.
Suddenly, I noticed some girls are looking and gushing over the cute guy beside me. So on impulse while the bus was getting full and I could feel their attempt to sit beside him I shimmied myself over to his side.
"Oh I'm sorry" I told him.
"It's fine." He answered. His voice is so cute I swear I heard his voice too before.
'Bold move Soobster, they won't sit beside this gorgeous man now—wait why am I being protective? I barely know the guy' I shook my head and just continued minding my own business.
I suddenly felt someone leaning on me. I looked over and it was the cute guy by the window! I was too indulged by the video I was watching that I didn't notice his tired state. I moved a bit to make him comfortable.
'I wish we could be stay this all day—STOP! I'm being a hopeless romantic again. I should really stop enjoying these small interactions. AND WITH A PERSON I DON'T KNOW FFS!? But like I do know him from somewhere...'
I looked at him once more and smiled. His pouty lips, the curled up lashes, his puffy cheeks—GOD! If he's single please let this man be my boyfriend!
'I should stop staring at him tho. He might feel my gaze and melt' I averted my eyes away from him and somewhere else. I looked over my other side and to my surprise an old lady was already looking at me.
"You and your boyfriend look so cute. I wish you both well as you grow old" the old lady beside me said and averted her gaze on the aisle. I felt my cheeks heat up.
"Oh! I-I'm sorry he's not my—" the bus suddenly stopped.
"Well then this my stop." She got up "If he's not your boyfriend then you might need to change that because I see the way you look at him, it's like the way my husband used to look at me. It was love at first sight" she smiled and waved as she walked away.
I was in daze with what she said that I didn't notice the alarm coming from someone else's phone. It was his phone and while at it he slowly opened his eyes and looked outside. He turned to look at me and his soft gaze turned into shock.
'He's so cute'
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Oh my God I didn't mean to lean on you. I'm really sorry I—" He was already panicking. He's so mesmerizing. I'm marrying this ma—SOOBIN STOP.
"It's fine. Don't worry about it" I answered and smiled to reassure him which made him calm down.
'haha "don't worry about it" as if I didn't have mini heart attacks knowing an angel like him leaned on ME!?—I should really stop' I sighed.
'I swear I've seen him before...I just don't know where'
While I was in thought he already got up and walked down the aisle. Maybe this is his stop. I sighed my stop is on the next one.
After the doors have closed I sighed in defeat since I won't be able to see him again. I looked by the window and saw that it was close to where our street was. It also started to rain so I walked close to the door and took out my umbrella. To my surprise I looked up and saw him again! He was by the door waiting.
'Maybe the universe is giving me a chance or I'm just lucky today.' I smiled and walked close to him.
I noticed he hasn't brought out an umbrella. Maybe he forgot it? I'll just give him mine and just run to my apartment, it's closer than wherever his house is...I hope.
As soon as the doors had opened I reached out my arm and opened the umbrella to hover over him. He was surprised and looked over to me as we stepped out of the bus.
"Here. Take my umbrella I'll just run over to my apartment." I smiled and ran with my bag on top of my head. I should've said something... The old lady was right I should've made a move or somethin—
"Hey! I—" I heard him call out. I turned around and thought about what clever thing I could say.
"Don't worry! My apartment is just close by!" uhmm...oh!
"At least we have an excuse to see each other again." I winked and ran off to the building in front of the bus station.
'I did it! I made a move!' I smiled widely as I ran to the streets and up to my apartment.
THIRD PERSON'S POV
"I thought you brought an umbrella? tsk tsk aunty will be mad at you" Taehyun (roommate 1) said in an annoyed tone.
"Hyung! I thought you were gonna stay at the library! I was about to wake you up after your alarm, but uh.. I got distracted by uh—"
"— a cute guy. Okay Kai we get it you're in love. Now help hyung with his things he might be tired from running...and smiling" Taehyun raised his eyebrows and smirked.
"Oh~ what's the tea?" Kai (roommate 2) walked up to Soobin and smirked too. He received a shove of Soobin's hand on his face as he walked away.
"It's nothing. I just had...a good nap"
"Are you su~re?" His two roommates said in unison.
"Yes it was! Now I'm gonna take a hot bath... I'll tell y'all the details later." He giggled and walked to his room earning a cheer from the two.
He put his things down and prepped for his hot bath. The rain was heavily pouring out earlier, he might get sick if he doesn't take a hot bath.
As soon as he got in he sighed and played with the water. He remembered the guy's face and splashed some water on his face.
"I swear I know him, I just don't know where" he played with a hedgehog floaty and sighed.
"I hope we do get a chance to see each other again"
